The Grand at Bridgeport is a well kept, friendly, clean hotel with walk-able shopping and restaurants nearby. We had a great stay and enjoyed the breakfast buffet with options that change daily. The gym is well equipped for a cardio or light weight lifting workout. This is our second stay in a little over a year and we were pleased both times. The room refrigerators have a backside control that may be set too low by prior guests - watch for freezing items.

Stayed here for a wedding. We enjoyed the breakfast each morning. Only complaint is that the elevator was extremely slow- we ended up just taking the stairs most times.

We’ve stayed here many times and always had a good experience. This is the first time on the first floor, so it was nice not having to deal with the elevator. Issues. Ice machines are on the other floors, but not the first floor. Also, seemed like people were walking quite often on the next floor and was a bit annoying, but quieted down later on. Comfortable room, nice TV, small refrigerator and a microwave. This is our ‘go-to’ hotel when in Portland. Also, there’s plenty of parking, especially with the parking structure.

Checkin was a breeze and the room was well equipped. We had people running an ultra marathon all day / night, which is not the fault of the hotel- but we did not sleep. It was also disappointing the hot tub wasn’t working. We live close by and came to stay here to get away from our kids! We were looking forward to a good nights rest and the hot tub- neither of which we got!

We had a wonderful stay. Very clean and very nice breakfast included! The hot tub was in need of chemical adjustments both mornings I went to use it, but the issues were fixed quickly and I was able to enjoy the pool and hot tub, it was nice! We will definitely be back on our next trip to the Portland area. All the staff was very friendly and attentive. I also noticed special touches like the sundries, the sleep kit (upon request and really lovely) and complimentary cookies. Thank you for this nice stay.

We love to stay here! This is probably our third or fourth stay through the years. I will note, in those few years, towel and sheet cleanliness has been an issue. We had three different towels in our bathroom that were dirty this time around. In addition, the coffee table in our room was a sticky mess. Otherwise, this hotel is in a great safe location with a good continental breakfast. We will be back as usual but make a mental note to check room cleanliness before settling in.

I am giving my stay only 3 stars. I want to start by saying, the staff here is amazing! The front desk people were friendly and warm on our arrival. I mentioned all the great reviews I had seen before booking, and I thought it was really nice how they credited the "team" for doing such great work. My main complaint is about cleanliness. While the hotel on the whole seems reasonably clean - unfortunately, our room was not clean; specifically the bathroom (the bathtub) was so dirty, it was upsetting. (See pictures.) Wanting to give the benefit of the doubt, I even took a tissue to run along the super dirty area to see if it was dried grouting. Sadly, it was not. It was just dirty. Additionally, we found the bed to be so hard, we felt like we were lying on a rock. Other pros, however, raise my estimation of our stay! The room was large and pretty quiet. I liked the blackout curtains, which helped us get some much needed sleep. The breakfast buffet had a good selection. When I saw a prowler outside casing cars, I alerted the front desk and they contacted security right away. I also want to disclose that I (kindly) let the front desk know about the dirty bathroom as I checked out and the gal was very nice in listening.

Check in was quick. Ladies at the counter were very helpful and kind. Room was large, clean, and quiet. Air conditioning worked very well on a hot day. Breakfast was above average, with hot meal options. Menu changes monthly.

Great location. All you need in walking distance. Very large rooms and good breakfast buffet. If you are a light sleeper, bring ear plugs, because sound travels from hallway and other rooms.

Large comfortable bed, great coffee with Seattle’s Best packet per serving. Big TV usable in bed or couch. It worked okay for a stay, and included a streamable capability, which was handy for watching some HBO & Prime via their easily accessed WiFi. I was recovering from a surgery, so having Stromboli sandwich and pizza for handy meals let me eat well while holed up. Very roomy room, big bath, and well prepared breakfast made for a nice stay. Recommended.

We stayed here for 2 nights and we had a room on the third floor. The hallway is pretty long. If you don't, they'll have a room near the elevator. If you have someone with issues walking a lot, make sure you request a room near the elevator we're on the first floor close to the lobby. The pool was nice, and so was the hot tub. The rooms were nice. The bathrooms were huge, with a separate tub and shower. I wish the bedroom refrigerators had a small freezer. Like some, do they sell ice cream in the little shop by the front desk. But there's no way to keep it frozen.You know in the bedroom refrigerator. The beds were a hard as a rock. It's an easy walk to bridgeport village, shopping area and dining options.

We came to the hotel because we were visiting friends in the area, tasting wine in the valley anfd then heading on to Bend/ Sunriver for the weekend. Staff was friendly and very quick process to check in . Room was very specious, clean and beds ver comfortable. Bathroom was clean and well stocked with towels and toiletries. I would suggest handbars on wall by tub since they are so low its hard to enter and exit. Also a makeup mirror and one or two more wall hooks for towels or clothes would be handy. Breakfast offered many selections and the egg dish was exceptional. I certainly will recommend this hotel to friends and neighbors traveling to or thru Portland.

Grand Hotel was super clean but outdated. Walls are paper thin. We could hear the people above us walking around all night. Lighting in room was fluorescent, not warm and welcoming. Breakfast was good for continental breakfast. We wouldn’t stay here again.

Just had horrible beds. The beds were worn out. We are athletic but have musculoskeletal issues and the beds felt worn out. We both woke up with neck and back pain.

The staff are incredible- every single person we encountered was welcoming, warm and went above and beyond. It’s never the case where all the staff you come across at a busy establishment are all nice. The hotel itself is in a good location, spacious rooms with excellent amenities. We were very impressed with the hotel itself, but even moreso by the staff. Every staff member we dealt with was courteous, professional and helpful. They went above and beyond to assist us with finding a local auto glass repair shop that could replace a window that was smashed when our car was broken into while we were in Portland near Washington Park. We were able to get the window replaced on a Sunday! Thanks Dr. Glassman. Breakfast was excellent.

Excellent hotel just off the interstate with tons of nearby shops & restaurants. Always excellent staff, every time we stay here!

Perfect spot for shopping at Bridgeport Village which is walkable from the hotel. The staff are so friendly and welcoming. The rooms are large and we had a very quiet room with very comfortable beds. The property is quite dated and could use some updates. Other than that, it was a great stay!

Great location. All you need in walking distance. Very large rooms and good breakfast buffet. If you are a light sleeper, bring ear plugs, because sound travels from hallway and other rooms.

Shopping and dining is within walking distance. Close access to freeway without being noisy. Secure lobby after hours, breakfast, very clean, courteous professional staff. Will stay here again as my road trips warrant it!

The property is clean and quiet. The front desk staff was extremely helpful and knowledgeable about the area. The breakfast buffet included the normal offerings, but also had fresh scrambled eggs and potatoes. There is a Whole Foods market a short block away, as well as Bridgeport Village with several food options and live music in the courtyard. The OSB Conference Center is a straight shot from the hotel, and you spend more time at the lights than drive time; it’s a 5-8 minute drive. Highly recommend this hotel.

Everything was amazing with one exception. At breakfast, my daughter poured a cup of coffee into the paper cup because they had not washed any dishes to have an actual mug. The paper cup was flimsy and concaved, spilling hot coffee all over her. The attendant simply pointed her in the direction of the napkins. Other guests came to her rescue with ice and napkins but the attendant couldn’t be bothered. That left us unwilling to interact with staff for the remainder of our stay.

The Grand had all the right stuff . Clean room with very comfortable beds. Outstanding staff who were all extraordinarily attentive. Excellent pool that could be a touch warmer. But best of all is the morning BREAKFAST. It looked like a normal hotel buffet line but the selection and Quality was amazing . This isn't heat and serve stuff - they make it all right there, much of it made from scratch. 10 stars for Breakfast

With a name like the Grand, and priced the way they are, I was a bit underwhelmed. Breakfast was nothing special. Muffins were stale, no cheese for the scrambled eggs, unorganized. No onsite restaurant, just mediocre chain eateries nearby. Guest and staff loud hallway conversations very audible from my room.

minimal interaction with the staff besides breakfast, the breakfast is the best complimentary breakfast I have ever had at a hotel. They did say it was something they try to do excellent at.

Check in was quick. Ladies at the counter were very helpful and kind. Room was large, clean, and quiet. Air conditioning worked very well on a hot day. Breakfast was above average, with hot meal options. Menu changes monthly.

We stay here once a month and enjoy the hotel. It’s convenient and close to shopping & restaurants. The staff are usually excellent, but the check in agent on the evening of this trip was very unusual. We arrived late but prepaid for our hotel room. Upon check in I handed the agent my ID while She started holding my ID card up to the light and staring back at me back and forth insinuating the ID wasn’t me. She asked me my date of birth as a quiz. I mean give me a break! I felt this was rude and it made me extremely uncomfortable and unwelcome. She didn’t even offer us cookies like the friendly desk clerks normally do here. She then quizzed me about my car. I’ve never been asked car details before since it’s free, but She had to know the exact model when I told her it’s an SUV? Interrogation? After this bizarre experience, I entered my room to find it was wrong w/two queens so I picked up the phone immediately and called her and said I only need one bed. She said well did you use the bathroom? (As though if I did use it I couldn’t change rooms?)I literally called her 2 mins after I left her desk. I said no of course not and you know that I just walked in here? I went back down switched cards for a room with one bed & again very awkward & unfriendly. I don’t want to give this hotel a bad review due to one bad situation, bc I have always enjoyed staying here in the past. However, this clerk needs to work on her strange social skills.
