Awful property. Stayed 2 nights. Night #1 heater/AC unit died. No one to fix it. Huge cricket in the room. Tried to kill it but he hid under the heater/AC. Didn't sleep at all. Bedding was awful. Sheet was paper thin, blanket was only slightly thicker. Mattress was completely shot. Night #2 I asked for another room. No housekeeping that day and no maintenance people to fix the heater/AC. They accommodated me. 2nd room had another cricket! I got him. Same bad bedding and worn out mattress. Food stain on wall and scuff marks. Exterior, one stairway was blocked off with plywood and caution tape. Spend a little more tomstay somewhere else.

I was very disappointed with Motel 6. Recently the ones ive stayex with had been remoded and updated, not this particular location.The outside corridors had bags of trash and box of empty beer cans. Door key card didn't work, bathroom toilet overflowed, mattresses were hard as rocks and blanket had holes in it. Staff was accommodating about fixing key problem and moving our room.

I’ve stay here because it has a large well maintained grassy area for dogs. Honestly, it’s lush green grass with shade trees and flowers planted for eye appeal! Almost like a city park but quieter. The room was spacious. Staff is incredibly friendly. There is some remodeling currently happening which makes it a bit of a construction zone. Footnote that. For the price though, you should happy. Plenty of food options all less than a few city blocks away including multiple grocery stores.

The elevator is broken. No chairs in laundry room. Overcharged 65 dollars ..Yhe worst experience ever. They took 65 dollars off my card when i booked and ot said put in card but nothing will be taken. Im on 3rd floor i have scoatica cant walk steps and had to walk up with bags of laundry. So disappointed

Desk agent was not welcoming at all. Ice machines didn't work. And the pool was closed! I specifically chose this location to swim during my stay and wasn't able to.

Pluses: bed was clean comfortable. Shower/tub diverted was broken and water was not very hot. The center section of the hotel was barricaded off assuming due to renovations but that caused a further walk to get to the room. I arrived late evening and was back on the road early so it suited the purpose for the price.

The beds were dirty, the bathroom also was not clean , room supposed to be not smoking but the people next to are room they were smoking mariguana , and smell really bad , I have 2 babies , at 3 am I had to check out because of that.

Horrible filthy place. Someone tried to enter our room in middle of night. Banging on the door. Tried to open the door. No fridges. Air conditioning broken. Disgusting facility. No floor covering in hall. No shampoo. Don’t stay there.

Drove from Indianapolis, IN to Frederick, MD on August 17 2023. Stayed in room # 205 and cockroaches are all over place. That’s disgusting. Be aware not to leave your luggages on the floor otherwise you'll transfer the cockroaches to your own home. To be safe I end up treating all my luggages and clothes before taking them home. This is the last time I'm staying at this Motel 6. Can you imagine that there's no microwave in the room and the lobby microwave is so tiny that a full plate can barely fit in. This place need a new management, one that will take the business seriously. Until then, no one should stay there for sanitary healthy reasons.

Just utterly horrible stay. I’m in my late 50s and fairly well-traveled, and this was hands-down The Worst place I’ve ever stayed. The desk was manned by an angry, bitter woman who obviously despises her job. Every time we stepped out of our room, we were harassed by drunk guys who seemed a permanent feature of the upper floor. We never felt safe. Plus our room was filthy, with sticky urine on the floor around the toilet, tar shoe marks on the sheets, and not even a blanket on a bed. Angry desk woman said it was because they don’t have housekeeping. I’ve left a lot out here, but bottom line: if you’re considering staying here, do yourself a favor and splurge an extra $10 to stay somewhere- anywhere- else. The cheap rate is too costly.

It was just filthy. Gnats and large flies all over the room. The heater did not work and it was 40 degrees outside. The tub had streaks of scum in the walls and the sink had visible mildew on it. And the cherry on the top…there was a used soap bar in the shower with hair on it. I stayed about a month ago and the room was decent. This appeared to have been a cleaning issue, minus the broken heater.

Most everything was fine. Was quiet until loud talking near my room in the middle of the night, woke me up. Also I bought my laptop but no wifi in room. There was something in the lobby....but I saved enough $ on my bill to treat myself to some good meals later that day!!

Only update to dated room was flooring, bathroom and vanity were old and worn. There were spiders all over the shower curtain, knats came out of the sink drain when I turned on the water and the WiFi didn’t work! Outside my room in the courtyard, young people who were either drunk or high partied all night and yelled and screamed and it was just awful, I cancelled my planned 2nd night here!

Was it amazing? No. Was it a place to stay? Yes. Did I know what I was getting into? Yes. Am I going to be honest? Yes. They’re going under renovations around the property. The staff was great. The room is good, outdated bathroom, just worn out. Everything was clean, just worn. Room is a echo to it. If someone sneezes loud enough, you’ll hear it in the next room. My stay, somebody was having a rave the whole night. It’s just gonna depend on the day and the time you stay there I guess.

The room itself was decent. Clean. Had a light switch that did nothing. Part that ruined the stay was the person next door played loud music all night - the same song and tried to rap it too. Called the desk in the morning, apparently it's not the first complaint. The guy tried to intimidate us when we left. I won't hold it against the chain of used another motel 6, but will hold it against this one for allowing someone like that to stay. Also the moto of "leaving the light on for you" is true. They were off and it was dark when we checked in. Trying to find the lights was a pain. Also the TV doesn't have channel options.

there wasn't a microwave or a refrigerator in the room so I couldn't keep stuff cold The lighting was horrible i couldn't really control the thermostat but I like the room cold so that is a plus It was quiet this time around nobody was being loud or obnoxious

My sister needs a Cpsp machine to sleep and the power between the beds did not work no matter the number of times we reset it. Had to go out and buy an extension cords so we could power her Cpap machine and to charge our phone

This hotel staff are dishonest. I paid one week stay and they kick me out after two days saying that they only charge for two nights when they really charge one week. Thanks to expedia they move me to another hotel without charge.

First room the heat wasn't functioning at all - we waited a while hoping it would warm up but had to ask for a different room. The front desk was not apologetic at all and grudgingly gave us another room. - this room was dirty - no one even used the shower because of how dirty it looked. we were just glad for a bed and heat at that point and just didn't want to talk to the staff at the front desk that were rude at best.

Just utterly horrible stay. I’m in my late 50s and fairly well-traveled, and this was hands-down The Worst place I’ve ever stayed. The desk was manned by an angry, bitter woman who obviously despises her job. Every time we stepped out of our room, we were harassed by drunk guys who seemed a permanent feature of the upper floor. We never felt safe. Plus our room was filthy, with sticky urine on the floor around the toilet, tar shoe marks on the sheets, and not even a blanket on a bed. Angry desk woman said it was because they don’t have housekeeping. I’ve left a lot out here, but bottom line: if you’re considering staying here, do yourself a favor and splurge an extra $10 to stay somewhere- anywhere- else. The cheap rate is too costly.

Desk agent was not welcoming at all. Ice machines didn't work. And the pool was closed! I specifically chose this location to swim during my stay and wasn't able to.

We stayed Tuesday thru Saturday. The entire staff including front desk, room service and even the maintenance staff were all very helpful, All showed great customer service skills, Everyone was friendly and welcoming.

The room temp was fine. The dogs were all fine. The beds were horrible as was the attitude of the woman i checked in with. She has no business greeting customers and checking them in.

It’s a good place to stay if you have a dog! Large green space that is landscaped professionally! Big oak trees. It’s a relatively quiet Motel 6 when inside the room. Outside you do have highway traffic noise so just note that. There is a Chipotle next door and lots of other eateries so that’s good, too.

No breakfast. No in room coffee pot, no tissue paper,No grab bar in shower, Ice machine on Second floor inop. Had to go to office to get fresh towels. No Room service on occupied rooms. Will not stay ay Motel 6 again

I’ve stay here because it has a large well maintained grassy area for dogs. Honestly, it’s lush green grass with shade trees and flowers planted for eye appeal! Almost like a city park but quieter. The room was spacious. Staff is incredibly friendly. There is some remodeling currently happening which makes it a bit of a construction zone. Footnote that. For the price though, you should happy. Plenty of food options all less than a few city blocks away including multiple grocery stores.

Unfortunately the refrigerator room really only has a mini fridge…no coffee maker even. The bed was clean and comfortable but very squeaky. The floor had not been washed in who knows how long and the shower barely put out enough water to rinse shampoo. We were missing a lightbulb in the room and the front desk attendant could not help me since the maintenance man was not there that day. I knew it would be a simple room but I was sadly disappointed with our stay.

The best I can say was the room was clean and the staff was friendly. Staying at the hotel though was like staying at mental hospital. I was stalked and threatened one morning when I walked my dogs and then that night I was woken at 2 am by a woman shouting and screaming on the steps a few doors down. I felt extremely unsafe. This used to be my go to dog friendly hotel when I trialed in Frederick. Things have changed too much. It seems to be more of a transient hotel than a hotel for travelers.

The best I can say was the room was clean and the staff was friendly. Staying at the hotel though was like staying at mental hospital. Lots of work going on at hotel. The room floors were separating and sheets had stains. No bath hair products. A dirty property for sure.

Although we had confirmed reservation for months, the front desk could not locate it. We were partway through a long distance drive and very tired. Had stayed at this location in the past so knew it was good. After some discussion on phone with manager, we were given a room to stay and they would sort out in morning after we left. The great news is they got it all sorted before we even left. Thank you staff for a restful night.

What amenities? No fridge, no microwave, broken hdmi cable stuck in the wall and hanging from the tv...moldy shower, half the lights not working, spider webs in all the corners. I dont smoke, but the neighbors outside at 3am smoking right into my ac unit. Had to scan my room key 12 times every time i tried to get into my room.
