Great stay. Victor was a fantastic help with checking in, meeting us at our car to grab our bags and directing us to their private parking. He also secured a dinner reservation at a great restaurant next door. One of the best dinners we had on our French vacation.

Quiet and comfortable. The staff were very friendly and attentive. It’s good that they have their own car park, even though it is a five minute walk away. Breakfast was good and it was quiet at night. We would certainly return.

Wunderschönes uraltes Originalgebäude in Top Lage. Mit viel Liebe zum Detail renoviert und zeigt sich von seiner besten Seite. Bett, Badezimmer Dusche sehr bequem und sauber. On Top: Badezimmer hat einen Whirlpool. Umgeben von hervorragenden Restaurants und mitten in der Stadt ist eben auch alles zu Fuß zu erreichen. Das Personal glänzt mit extremer Freundlichkeit und Hilfsbereitschaft. Sonderwünsche werden je nach Möglichkeit ebenfalls erfüllt. Nur 300m zu Fuß und man findet die Hoteleigene Garage in der das Auto sicher und trocken stehen kann. Auf dem Weg dorthin kommt man an weiteren Restaurants Shops und Bars vorbei. Auch ein Rollstuhlgerechtes Zimmer ist verfügbar. (Ziemlich selten in Historischen Gebäuden.) Das Absinthe Hotel ist zu 100% zu empfehlen. Ich selber werde sicherlich wieder dort buchen!!!

We were very pleased. Victor checked us in and was very nice and helpful. The room was large, spacious, and clean. The hotel is in a very convenient location. We were able to walk around the town very easily from the hotel. We parked our rental car in the hotel’s secure lot and were able to safely leave some of our luggage in the car so it was extremely convenient. We would recommend this hotel. (Family of two adults and 1 child for reference)

Great hotel, located in the heart and center of Honfleur. supper perfect location. Great stuff, supper amazing service. you feel the passion of the stuff and their care of the hotel and the visitors. Great parking solution. Rooms are clean and redesigned. Great place.

Hotel was easy to find and is in a very central location. Private parking was just a short walk away. Upon check in with Victor who is really friendly, we were shown to our ground floor room which was charming and spacious. The bathroom was huge and really well equipped with bath and walk-in shower, plenty of towels and a modern decor. Victor suggested we dine at the restaurant L’Escale situated right next door which turned out to be an excellent choice and great atmosphere. Food was superb and our server was very attentive. I would definitely stay at l’Absinthe again when I visit the vibrant town of Honfleur as I could find no fault with the hotel, location and service.

屋根の傾きのかかる最上階に泊まりました。古く趣き、雰囲気があり、オンフルールらしいですが部屋もキレイで、他の街で泊まった四つ星ホテルよりずっといい。場所も便利でスタッフもフレンドリー。駐車場はちょっと離れていますが、屋根付です。おすすめ！

The location by the main harbor is amazing. You can literally walk out the entrance of the hotel and start to shop or eat. The trade off is the lack of onsite parking. There is a wonderful secure parking area for the hotel but it requires you to walk 600meters. Victor, the concierge was very helpful and the rooms were very clean. Lights on

De passage à Honfleur avant le retour pour BRUXELLES, nous avons été très satisfaits de notre séjour à l'hôtel "L'ABSINTHE": accueil chaleureux, précieux conseils pour le choix des restos, belle chambre cosy, bonne literie, salle de bain spacieuse, le tout d'une propreté exemplaire! Nous y retournerons certainement!

This is a super cool location to stay, the rooms are small, but clean and very friendly service right on the harbor, close to great restaurants and all the sites. The owner is new, and very accomodating, beds were comfy it was very clean, and the bathrooms were large with lots of space

Best hotel in Honfleur. Staff was incredibly attentive, ready to help with dinner bookings etc. They have a private parking area nearby which is convenient since parking is tight in town. Raphael and owner Victor were absolutely lovely from beginning to end. Room was spacious with rustic features and modern amenities at the same time.

After reading all the positive reviews I was convinced this hotel was going to be amazing. Unfortunately it was a disappointing experience after all. While the photos show a main building with rooms, this was not where our room was located. We had booked a superior room but it was in the building of the reception, with a view on a wall basically. Why call it superior ? I don’t know. The facilities were fine, and very clean. The breakfast however was another story. It’s not a buffet, so they serve you based on what you ordered the day before. For the price you do get very little, a tiny bit of jam, 2 mini slices of bread, one juice, ect.. asked for porridge and was charged extra … I mean you already pay for a 15 eur breakfast or more (don’t remember how much it was exactly but enough). Also the guy was on himself trying to handle breakfast and checkouts, it was a bit of a mess. Just expected better from this hotel.

Upon check in with Victor who is really friendly, we were shown to our ground floor room which was charming and spacious. This is a super cool location to stay, the rooms are small, but clean and very friendly service right on the harbor, close to great restaurants and all the sites. The owner is new, and very accomodating, beds were comfy it was very clean, and the bathrooms were large with lots of space

Great stay. Victor was a fantastic help with checking in, meeting us at our car to grab our bags and directing us to their private parking. He also secured a dinner reservation at a great restaurant next door. One of the best dinners we had on our French vacation.

This hotel is in a wonderful location and the service is excellent. We had some issues with our rented vehicle. We tried to contact the agency. We don't speak French. Raphael at the desk called for us several times. He went above all expectations to help us. He patiently made several calls and our issue was eventually resolved. The rooms here are very nice. The breakfast was outstanding and beautifully served.

Absolutely amazing stay. The location could not be better right in the centre of the old town area. The surrounding area had endless shops, cafes and restaurants in amazingly picturesque buildings. Victor could not do enough to ensure our stay was special. We had breakfast at the hotel and it was beautiful fresh local produce and bakery items. Victor also suggested some places for dinner and we were amazed at the quality of the food and the very reasonable prices at all of them. We would love to come again.

We were very pleased. Victor checked us in and was very nice and helpful. The room was large, spacious, and clean. The hotel is in a very convenient location. We were able to walk around the town very easily from the hotel. We parked our rental car in the hotel’s secure lot and were able to safely leave some of our luggage in the car so it was extremely convenient. We would recommend this hotel. (Family of two adults and 1 child for reference)

Our stay at L’Absinthe Hotel was wonderful. The location in the heart of Honfleur harbor with dozens of smart cafés, restaurants and boutiques cannot be matched. The hotel itself is incredibly charming and comfortable. The owner, Victor, as well as the rest of the staff were very warm and welcoming. I cannot recommend this hotel enough.

The location by the main harbor is amazing. You can literally walk out the entrance of the hotel and start to shop or eat. The trade off is the lack of onsite parking. There is a wonderful secure parking area for the hotel but it requires you to walk 600meters. Victor, the concierge was very helpful and the rooms were very clean. Lights on

Quiet and comfortable. The staff were very friendly and attentive. It’s good that they have their own car park, even though it is a five minute walk away. Breakfast was good and it was quiet at night. We would certainly return.

We did not understand that the room we were allocated would not be part of the main hotel. Parking was far away and getting our bags to the room was quite difficult. That night directly below our room, room 9 was a party going on in an open roofed area with a large getto blaster. We did not get to sleep until midnight. Breakfast the following morning was disappointing for 15 euros.

Our room was expansive and the kingsized beds was comfortable as can be. An adjoining living room too! All the staff were as they say SUPER! Clean large bathroom. Hot water in the large bath. Yummy breakfast. Right in the middle of Honfleur. Best 2 nights ever! Merci beaucoup tous les gens at Hotel Absynthe! PS all the restaurants we went to were delicious and the Boudin museum was fabulous. Walking around to and from the city, along the river to the ocean, through gardens was such a treat!
