Hotel is lovely and clean however, the rooms are in a loft. Our room was 43 degrees when we stayed. The heat was unbearable, to the point I woke up and was sick during the night. We asked if we could cancel our second night and they wouldn't refund us, despite the room effecting our health. They did provide free cold drinks from the bar and a second fan. I would stay again, however not in the summer as the heat in the rooms is awful.

The hotel is in an amazing old building in a really nice town. The staff are friendly, and the lobby and restaurant and modern and clean. That's where the positives end. The stairwell and rooms are more like a youth hostel, basic and in need of a serious upgrade. The beds are uncomfortable and the pillows are awful! Breakfast is very basic, and needs more attention as for most of the time trays were empty and people were waiting around for them to be topped up. The parking areas is small, so there's a good chance you will need to park on the street, or in the retail area opposite.

Was a little expensive, plus the room was too small for a family of 4; beds blocked access to wardrobe and needed moving under the desk to gain access to the bathroom. Only room for luggage was under the beds.
