This a good, very clean, modern, pleasant hotel in the center of old town and a few minutes to everything in town. It is a very small hotel on a side street, off People’s Square not very easy to find the first time. That said it is a tiny hotel, 4 floors, 2-3 rooms per floor accessible by a 2-person elevator or stairs. Lovely breakfast, modern and impeccably clean. The name of the hotel connotes a palace, so you do expect something grand or large and instead it’s the very opposite. But well appointed rooms, hard beds but the place tries hard. Super centrally located and well air conditioned.

Beautiful room, fabulous breakfast, right in the heart of Old Town. Take up hotel's offer of ride from airport or you may have difficulty finding it. Parking is distant challenging. One quibble: to truly be an eco hotel, towels shouldn't automatically be changed every night--at least let guest have a choice!

Great hotel great location , great staff, very nice breakfast and bottle of vine was a bonus. The only problem was car parking , this hotel is in center of city with no car access. If you are driving you have to park in a distance and carry your staff for some distance.

Location is excellent: This hotel is in the Peoples’ Square minutes from the Diocletian Palace. It has an elevator so you don’t have to lug your suitcases up the stairs to your room. There are several restaurants nearby and a cute coffee shop that makes great cappuccinos. The breakfast buffet was really nice and had great food options even for a pick eater. The staff was wonderful and super helpful in arranging a private shuttle to the airport upon our departure which was really early in the morning. I would definitely stay here again.

Everything about this hotel is wonderful. We are experienced travelers from Iowa and highly recommend this hotel. In addition to standard amenities Our room had heated bathroom floors, towel warmer rack and rain shower. Bed, blanket and sheets were super comfortable. Easy to find. Public Parking is a 6 min walk. Split is fun and has well preserved Roman ruins, but you can find better beaches in other areas of Croatia.

Hôtel très bien situé. Pas de parking, mais les parkings publics sont assez proches. Seule petite remarque, pas besoin de remettre la clim en route quand le ménage est fait. Mais les économies d'énergie ne semblent pas faire parties des recommandations en Croatie . Très bon séjour

Staff initially had issues finding my reservation as it was booked through Expedia. We loved the stone exposure in the rooms and it was super clean and quiet. It was easily accessible to the shop and restaurants as it was right out the door.

The staff were very friendly and accommodating. We were leaving early for a tour and would not be there for 7:30am breakfast. They delivered baskets to us the day before. The room was clean and spacious and location was great. Highly recommend.

The hotel is in prime location for all of the attractions in Split. Easy walk to the ferry port and bus station. The hotel was clean and rooms well equipped. We were on the top floor but rooms can be a little noisy with the restaurants and bars that stay open late and also people coming in and out of the hotel. We did not have breakfast but it did not seem to be open on time each morning and people were waiting for it to open. We would definitely recommend this hotel as a great base when visiting Split

Pro: La struttura è veramente bella e comodissima per girare a piedi il centro di Split. La camera molto spaziosa vista città è stata piacevole e comoda. Pur essendo in pieno centro sulla piazza principale di Split piena di locali e passanti, la camera è insonorizzata benissimo! Contro: l'albergo è in piena zona pedonale quindi non si può arrivare in auto. I parcheggi sono costosissimi (25€ al giorno ca.) ma non troppo lontani (massimo 10 minuti a piedi). Il centro è zeppo di locali ma non economici. La colazione lascia un po a desiderare... niente di che...meglio farla fuori dalla struttura. A causa della doccia che non chiudeva bene, una sera, ho allagato il bagno. Ho segnalato il fatto ma nessuno è venuto ad asciugare costringendomi ad usare un telo doccia. In conclusione, però, mi sento di consigliare la struttura perché veramente bella ed in posizione perfetta per esplorare il centro storico a piedi.

Location was excellent. Helpful staff. Great accommodation with lovely, well equipped bathroom. Area is pedestrianised so used the transfer to airport arranged by the hotel. This was great as they helped with carrying bags.

Beautiful room very clean. While shutters are charming they do little to filter out lights from square below. These rooms need black out shades. That being said they also need better lighting inside room. It was very difficult to read at night. Bedside lamps were terrible and canned lights in ceiling gave off poor light.

Palace Suites was in the perfect location to see all of Old Town Split! We could walk everywhere (food, Riva and Ferries) There was an elevator in the hotel which was very nice at the end of the day. The breakfast was perfect for the start of the day and our room was clean, perfect for 2 people and very quiet.

You can't get more centrally located than this if the old town is your destination. The room was large and very quiet with the modern doors and windows in an otherwise historic building. Small and cozy boutique hotel. Breakfast was simple yet convenient and very good for a light meal before heading out to explore for the day.

The Palace Suites has a prized location for a visit to Split. The hotel sits off the main plaza and is a few hundred feet away from Diocletian's Palace and the waterfront promenade. If you have an option of booking with breakfast, I recommend you decline. The breakfast offering is not great and there are so many great cafes and restaurants around the property to have breakfast
