Wild Horse Pass Hotel & Casino

We booked Wild Horse Pass for a quiet, relaxing weekend getaway after my heart surgery, but left feeling frustrated and disappointed. The Friday night Kool & the Gang concert was great, but the resort’s atmosphere overall felt more like a nightclub than a peaceful retreat. Our pool day was ruined when we learned, after arrival and check in, that the pool would close early for a loud DJ party. Worse, our long-anticipated dinner at PRIME was ruined by a loud DJ in the restaurant, inattentive seating next to a loud table, and a lack of dress code enforcement. We left without dining. This resort now seems focused on a younger, party-focused crowd, which wasn’t what we expected or wanted.

The pool was Nice and casino was great!

I do NOT recommend this hotel if you value customer service. The front staff are rude and inconsiderate. And just to top it off, so is the management. We booked a room for my birthday and had no idea that there was a huge pool party. I was not interested in a pool party with a “crunk” music style. They closed both pools at 2pm. My husband called to inquire about early check-in because we wanted a full day at the pool and they said no problem. If your room isn’t ready, enjoy the pool and check your bags with our valet. No mention of an early closure of the pool. On my clear disappointment at check-in, we got no sympathy. Zero. None. She tried to guilt me about going to a 3rd party site for booking. They booked us a room overlooking the pool so we had crunk music blaring so loud until 11:30 that we had the TV on at almost full volume. We asked a manger to call us so we could vent but she didn’t care either and tried to make us feel guilty for using Hotels.com. I find it so difficult to think that 1.) the hotel couldn’t message guests with bookings that evening to let them know, 2.) have some empathy for us seniors who don’t want that atmosphere, and 3.) have some pride of customer service to acknowledge our complaints and help us think they care. I will never go back there. The room was dirty, the TV unplugged so we thought it was broke, the toiletries weren’t stocked, one of two power cords was shut off so my husband’s phone didn’t charge, and they weren’t friendly.

The hotel was very clean. The rooms are nice (whoever designed the door for the bathroom though should be fired). Our only complaint was that they did not notify us prior that the pool was going to be closed the entire duration of our stay. They made no attempt to apologize or provide monetary compensation for this either. If people are paying extra for your resort amenities, they should be available. Or at the very least, we should be notified prior to check in.

Property had average services but it was no towels in the pool area although it was open and there weren't employee to ask for the money we paid i think that it should be better services

The staff at Wildhorse Pass was over the top, attentive and professional. A few days before arrival, I was sent a text message asking me if there was anything I needed that they could prepare for ahead of time. I did correspond back-and-forth regarding early check-in.. I also had some additional questions where the concert venue was going to be. They were absolutely wonderful in responding. I have been to several other casinos in the area and none of them have the customer service that Wildhorse Pass has. The front check-in staff was extremely efficient helpful and friendly, as well as all the other staff we encountered during our stay. The rooms were very nice and pool was lovely. They even have a serenity adult pool, which made it even better. I would definitely stay here again.

The resort is very nice Room was big,clean and comfortable The staff was amazing The pool was nice enjoyed the casino and the showroom was a great place to see a concert I would highly recommend I would return again to see a concert or show

Stayed at the hotel over the weekend. Front desk staff was rude upon arrival and throughout stay. Hot tub colder than pool. Items stolen from room when cleaned and when inquiring about items manager offered “upgrade next visit”. Do not stay at this hotel.

Staff not friendly or helpful. Boogers stuck to headboard over bed. Might want to send someone up there with a scraper and disinfectant. Nasty. Room needs a thorough vacuuming. Carpet chunky.

For the level of price and quality of this resort, I was surprised that the bathrooms were So poorly cleaned. Moldy shower area.

I am unhappy the shower in my room was not cleaned full of hair. I called and told staff sent someone to clean the bathroom . They still did not clean the shower still.had the same hair that was there so they had to send someone a second time and we had to wait to shower.

Left over trash in our room, dirty and grungy bathroom floor- room smells of old, nasty smoke. Loud partying until 3 am. Will never be back.

Found a dirty wash cloth on the shower curtain bar in our bathroom. The complementary lotion had been used and the half empty bottle left for us. The carpet had not been vacuumed. Found food between the seat back, and seat cushion of the desk chair. Plus, my husband and I both slept in a two body sized ruts of the king mattress. Worst housekeeping in a casino EVER!!! And the mattress needs to be replaced. Over priced room, yet under maintained. We will not be returning this place.

This is a beautiful, clean, well-run casino resort just outside Phoenix. Everything feels new. Our room was comfortable and peaceful with nice beds and a huge window facing the scenic desert. The casino was lively and well-run with fun slots and nice food and drink options. We had breakfast every morning at the Fullhouse Cafe -- great food, well priced, and brisk, friendly service. The cafe had great coffee and snacks, which we tried to work off at the nice little gym area LOL. My favorite part of the whole place was the fabulous pool area -- 2 big swimming pools (adult and family), with accompanying hot tubs. Cabanas looked great but we didn't try them. Circling the pools are really kind, friendly staff who zip around and bring you food and drinks on request. We made sure to tip them well as they hustle all day! Overall this was a fabulous location that exceeded our expectations. We got the rest and fun that we needed, and we can't wait to visit again. A , highly recommend!

Walls are about as thick as toilet paper; we can hear every breath our neighbors take. The kids playing and screaming right next door is fun for us too!

Huge pool and a very nice room with beautiful views!

We pulled up and there was someone ready to help unload our luggage, take up to our room and park the car for us. The facility is very nice. The bed was comfortable. My only complaint about the room was there was no table in the room and only 1 comfy chair. There was plenty of room by the window of the room we stayed in so I think they missed the boat there. Also, the fridge had no freezer and we had freezer packs we that needed to be kept frozen. The cafe closes at 2:00. We were there at dinner time so only had the option of expensive restaurants or the food court which was super busy and took a very long time to get hamburgers. They should keep the cafe open into the evening. Other than that, I would recommend this place.

We could not cool the room below 77 degrees. Too warm for sleeping

I’m not sure what the noise was but it sounded like a freight train. It was right next to my head and I couldn’t sleep. It was horrible.

Two thumbs up every stay! The only addition could be a microwave in the room but having the mini fridge is great! Lovely resort. Lovely pools. Friendly staff.

The shower head was awful and the room was too hot.

Stayed overnight with family in 3 different rooms. Room labels misleading. A double room apparently means 2 twin beds, not a room that is double in size. A little run down. Bathroom fan didn't work. Lots of mold in the shower tile grout. TV ancient. View (from the eastside) is terrible.

The room was warm and didn’t cool down. We didn’t even stay. We checked out early and just went home instead.

I was very impressed with how friendly and helpful all of the staff was. From the valet, front desk, cabana staff, everyone we encountered were pleasant and accommodating. Sadly, this is rare these days. Definitely a highlight of our stay. We are very much appreciative and look forward to staying at the resort again, soon.

Overall Great place as always….but Housekeeping was banging on the door at 11am saying I was going to be charged a fee even though I got a late checkout. I was already pretty much ready to leave so I just left but not the best feeling after all I spent there in the casino. Bummer to end on a low note.

Adam at front desk is terrible in customer service, he insisted what i requested was not available, he didnt check, didn’t confirm Ten minutes later I asked another front desk and without hesitation she said what I wanted was AVAILABLE.

I like how friendly and professional the staff was. I attended this establishment for a work trip, however I will be back for vacation.

Nice hotel with a little casino and few restaurants. It’s all nice just not very big and not much else around. Easy to park for free, and decent amenities but nothing really standout. 2nd best hotel and casino in AZ only to Talking Stick.

Conveniently located.

I spent over $200 on just food that was so mediocre. I will regret eating at that overprice steakhouse for the rest of my life. Needless to say I was extremely disappointed in the dinner/restaurant that they call a steakhouse.

The room was clean, modern and spacious. We ate at the Cafe and Ling & Louie's. Both had really good food and the service was very good. The Casino was clean and we had a great time.

Enjoyed my stay. Casino staff were friendly and fun. No room service 24/7 was a big minus for me. After 1am nowhere to get something to eat.

Great place for a concert. Intimate venue. Rooftop restaurant is too loud but has very nice sunset views and also great food.

Enjoyed Prime, the Penthouse Restaurant on the top floor of the Casino! Excellent Steak and Bolonese pasta. There was a July 4th Pool party for three days! Ling and Louise Asian restaurant was a hit also as well as room service food.

Food was terrible

I love the pleasant staff. They were friendly and personable...Except the valet staff almost ran me over on the sidewalk because they run. I was alone and felt comfortable. I really would love to come back. I hope they would have a pkg. Deal affordabilty is a factor..but i understand the reasons why it costs so much to stay there. 42.00 for a burger and coke with room service was a bit high though it was a great burger..the fries were cut too thin. Thank you

Very pleased with the entire stay. The rooms were very modern and clean. The front desk were great! Check in and check out were a breeze. I wasn't thrilled about the food court however. There were only 2 choices, Fatburger and a pizza place. I would dine off site if I stayed again
