Location was the best being right by the lake. Bus stop by the hotel made it easy to take buses to other places. They do have a car park for guests who have a car. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast had a lot of variety. You might want to book the restaurant for dinner as it is so popular. Happy to come back one day.

What a special place!! You get the old world ambiance and amazing location and then you open your room door to a sleek and perfect interior. You simply cannot get a better location, directly across the street from the lake with full view of the castle and instant access to the lively 3.5 mile walking path. Then there is the generous and varied breakfast in a pretty little dining room — with accommodations made, on request, for gluten-free and lactose-free items. I know I sound like I’m gushing, but we were so pleased with our stay we wanted to encourage others to come. One down-side for us was the bed— while a generous queen-plus size— was much firmer than we were accustomed to, but that wasn’t a huge deal as we were only there 2nights. Parking on-site isn’t free but it is a great asset in this often jam-packed town

Very helpful, helped arrange taxi for pick up when we arrived late evening and concierge gave really good information on local area and onward transport options. Rooms were very clean and location was excellent, opposite the lake. The hotel is on the edge of town and quiet and its a beautiful 10-15 min lakeside walk into the main town. However, there is a bus stop next door with buses into town if you need and regular (mostly hourly) buses to Ljubljana. Breakfast was good and there was a nice cafe/restaurant/bar attached.

This was an old bungalow with a seemingly popular restaurant - we didn’t go to the restaurant. Great location on the quieter end of the lake, right opposite where the boats to the island dock. Friendly staff, great breakfast. Clean, updated rooms with good amenities. No elevator, so carried luggage up one floor. They may have staff to help out with that, though we didn’t ask.

Hôtel plein de charme sans ascenseur. Chambre vue lac joliment décorée mais peu pratique. On se cogne contre la barre métallique du lit, la salle de bain est très petite et peu pratique. J'ai encore les bleus que je me suis fait en marchant sur le bord métallique de la douche et en retombant sur les parois de la douche. Par contre, plein de produits Rituals à dispo. On peut se faire un capuccino dans la chambre. Parking jamais dispo quand on arrive à cause du restaurant, heureusement, le personnel vient en aide (5eur/nuit). On mange très bien au restaurant et on reçoit un bon pour une coupe de champage, encore merci. Il y a même une réceptionniste qui parle FR.

Lovely little hotel right on the edge of the lake was perfect for what we needed. Staff are friendly and parking is available on site for €5 per night which seems perfectly reasonable. Rooms were clean and stylish and the hotel did everything we needed. Hotel is located a 15-20min walk to the more central part of Bled with restaurants and stuff but wasn’t a problem for us as you walk alongside the lake so was nice.

One thing to note is that there is a busy road seperating the hotel from the lake, but the triple glazed windows blocked out all the sound. Lovely view over the lake, with easy parking onsite. The staff were super friendly and they were very helpful. The whole hotel is very clean and tidy with everything in good working order. Had a great restaurant onsite. I would stay here again.

This hotel was just perfect, located right on Lake Bled, next to the Pletna boat station. The room was great, clean, comfortable and well designed. You feel like you are part of the history, yet, the hotel is modernly renovated. Breakfast was great too. But what really made our stay special is the team. Unfortunately, during our stay, hotel had water issues for a few hours, but they communicated so well and we prepared to move us to a hotel nearby without a fuss should the problem persisted. Luckily, it was quickly fixed and we could enjoy our stay. We just wish we stayed longer and next time try their restaurant, the menu looked really good!

This hotel is stunning. We had a great room overlooking Lake Bled. The room itself was beautifully decorated and immaculately clean. The staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful. There were lots of places to eat and drink and Bled town was only a delightful 15 min walk away. Breakfast in the morning was the only slight disappointment. Although there was a great selection, bacon, eggs, yogurts, fruit, cold meats, cheese and pastries, the quality was a bit hit and miss. It was all nothing the staff didn't put right and would highly recommend this hotel for a Lake Bled stay.

I had one of the balcony rooms during my stay and it was magical. I was able to see the castle when laying down to sleep. Great views overall. As some other reviews mention, the rooms are small. I was traveling alone so the size was not a big deal. There is not an elevator but staff was more than willing to help taking my luggage up and down the stairs. I enjoyed the location, but when booking people should know that you will have to walk about 20 min to get into the town area. The bus station is about a 25 minute walk. The hotel itself has a restaurant and there is a small market very close. Overall I enjoyed my stay and would not hesitate to book this hotel in the future.

The hotel is very charming & has a gorgeous view of the lake & castle. The staff is very kind & accommodating. Yummy breakfast & awesome food/drinks at the attached restaurant. Bed was very comfortable & had all Ritual bath products!

We truly enjoyed our stay. Location was great, breakfast was very nice, staffs were helpful. The only thing is the size of the room, we could barely fit 2 mid sized suitcases. Try to reduce your luggage if possible!

This accommodation felt like real luxury. The location of the hotel was breathtaking, right on the shore of Lake Bled. The room was really clean, spacious and stylish. Fancy toiletries was found in the bathroom. The downside is that the bathroom walls were frosted glass, which you could clearly see through if you went near the glass. You could see completely clearly to the room when you sat on the toilet :D The car parking was free. The breakfast had enough of everything to fill the stomach.

Lovely hotel, comfortable beds, delicious and wide variety of breakfast, fancy toiletries, house keeping everyday, friendly staff and spacious room for three persons at 101. The only thing we did not care about are the almost see-through bathroom and the fiah smell downstairs when they cook since its adjacent to their restaurant. Other than that it's perfect for the location across Lake Bled plus free glass of champagne upon arrival. We will definitely come back!

The hotel is conveniently located by the bus stop, which makes day trips super easy . Breakfast was good, but the coffee machine was breaking down . When making our reservations 6 months out , there was no upgraded rooms available so we settled for a standard queen double . The room was very large, but the bathroom was small, especially the shower . It would be nice to have some shelf space around sink, as well .

On peut se faire un capuccino dans la chambre. Parking jamais dispo quand on arrive à cause du restaurant, heureusement, le personnel vient en aide (5eur/nuit). On mange très bien au restaurant et on reçoit un bon pour une coupe de champage, encore merci. Il y a même une réceptionniste qui parle FR.

An elegant designed hotel in the most amazing location. We did not like: Sofa bed was not comfortable at all. Bathroom door being almost transparent (no go), the water in the shower we're not hot enough. All the rest was great and better than expected.

Nice hotel with lake view. As there is a road between the lake and the hotel, if you choose a room with balcony, be prepared for the noise from vehicles driving passed as it can be really noisy.

I had one of the balcony rooms during my stay and it was magical. I was able to see the castle when laying down to sleep. Great views overall. As some other reviews mention, the rooms are small. I was traveling alone so the size was not a big deal. There is not an elevator but staff was more than willing to help taking my luggage up and down the stairs. I enjoyed the location, but when booking people should know that you will have to walk about 20 min to get into the town area. The bus station is about a 25 minute walk. The hotel itself has a restaurant and there is a small market very close. Overall I enjoyed my stay and would not hesitate to book this hotel in the future.

The hotel is very charming & has a gorgeous view of the lake & castle. The staff is very kind & accommodating. Yummy breakfast & awesome food/drinks at the attached restaurant. Bed was very comfortable & had all Ritual bath products!

This hotel was just perfect, located right on Lake Bled, next to the Pletna boat station. The room was great, clean, comfortable and well designed. You feel like you are part of the history, yet, the hotel is modernly renovated. Breakfast was great too. But what really made our stay special is the team. Unfortunately, during our stay, hotel had water issues for a few hours, but they communicated so well and we prepared to move us to a hotel nearby without a fuss should the problem persisted. Luckily, it was quickly fixed and we could enjoy our stay. We just wish we stayed longer and next time try their restaurant, the menu looked really good!

Rooms were very clean and location was excellent, opposite the lake. The hotel is on the edge of town and quiet and its a beautiful 10-15 min lakeside walk into the main town. However, there is a bus stop next door with buses into town if you need and regular (mostly hourly) buses to Ljubljana. Breakfast was good and there was a nice cafe/restaurant/bar attached.

Lovely view over the lake, with easy parking onsite. The staff were super friendly and they were very helpful. The whole hotel is very clean and tidy with everything in good working order. Had a great restaurant onsite. I would stay here again.

You simply cannot get a better location, directly across the street from the lake with full view of the castle and instant access to the lively 3.5 mile walking path. Then there is the generous and varied breakfast in a pretty little dining room — with accommodations made, on request, for gluten-free and lactose-free items. I know I sound like I’m gushing, but we were so pleased with our stay we wanted to encourage others to come. One down-side for us was the bed— while a generous queen-plus size— was much firmer than we were accustomed to, but that wasn’t a huge deal as we were only there 2nights. Parking on-site isn’t free but it is a great asset in this often jam-packed town

It’s easy to see why the hotel has been operating for nearly a century; the place is beautiful — and only 50 feet from Lake Bled. We crossed the street and went swimming every day. We hope to go back soon.

The hotel is conveniently located by the bus stop, which makes day trips super easy . Breakfast was good, but the coffee machine was breaking down . When making our reservations 6 months out , there was no upgraded rooms available so we settled for a standard queen double . The room was very large, but the bathroom was small, especially the shower . It would be nice to have some shelf space around sink, as well .

Perfect location for lake Bled, wonderful view of the lake from the panoramic view room., delicious breakfast. One thing to note is that there is a busy road seperating the hotel from the lake, but the triple glazed windows blocked out all the sound. I think this is the case for most lakeside accomodation on the lake. Parking charges extra

Location was the best being right by the lake. Bus stop by the hotel made it easy to take buses to other places. They do have a car park for guests who have a car. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast had a lot of variety. You might want to book the restaurant for dinner as it is so popular. Happy to come back one day.

This hotel is stunning. We had a great room overlooking Lake Bled. The room itself was beautifully decorated and immaculately clean. The staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful. There were lots of places to eat and drink and Bled town was only a delightful 15 min walk away. Breakfast in the morning was the only slight disappointment. Although there was a great selection, bacon, eggs, yogurts, fruit, cold meats, cheese and pastries, the quality was a bit hit and miss. It was all nothing the staff didn't put right and would highly recommend this hotel for a Lake Bled stay.

This hotel was in a great location. You looked out of the window and the view of the lake and castle was amazing. We went for a swim in the lake every day. The train was a great way to get around the lake. The boat to take you to the island with the church on is right on your doorstep. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was lovely and lots of choice. We had a evening meal as well outside, which was lovely.

Parking right next to the hotel (for a fee). We loved the location and ability to easily walk into town. The room was clean and had what we needed. Three negatives: (1) the walls are VERY thin; we could hear our neighbors talking fairly clearly from the hallway and in our room, (2) the shower is very small and was leaking over the floor and (3) there is no elevator so we had to carry our bags up the stairs, but the staff did offer to help! Nonetheless, would stay here again as the staff were very friendly and helpful, the room was clean, and the breakfast included was great!
