Staff are friendly. Relatively clean. Valet is a nightmare though. It takes 20-30 minutes to retrieve your vehicle, and most of the time there is no one to attend the post, and no self-parking options around

Front desk staff was excellent. Someone is always there 24 hours. They greet you with a hello and a smile. The facility is quiet, very clean, meets all your expectations. The breakfast served daily has healthy choices, (3) hot items daily, waffle maker, toast/bagels, cereal, oatmeal, orange juice, apple juice, water, milk/chocolate Milk, and coffee 24 hours on the first floor lobby. The rooms are very clean & spacious. The Bathroom shower is huge, lots of marble, and stand up Shower. The sink and toilet is very clean as well. The Hotel is located in the heart of Downtown San Antonio, Texas. Walking distance to the Alamo, the River Walk, Restaurants, and Bars. A late night Voodoo Doughnuts across the street. The property has a pool, 24 hour gym, a small Business Section, and a small market for drinks, snacks, ice cream, and toiletries. I would definitely recommend this property to my friends and Family. I will stay here again.

Hotel says parking available. But you need to avail parking from your pocket. It’s not mentioned anywhere during booking . This is wrong info. Except this , hotel is absolutely nice and had pleasant stay.

Pros: Conveniently located, free breakfast, valet parking cheaper than self parking, and most staff was friendly. Cons: NO heated pool. While at pool, I called to ask if they have heated pool and mention jets weren\'t going. Pool is heated based on inside temperature. Response about the jets "it is not a hot tub." I know it is not a hot tub but most normal pools have air jets to keep pool from being stagnant. Hurting from sleeping in uncomfortable beds. Husband told me he felt like he was sleeping on a folding (roll-away) bed. Housekeeping was to be on Monday but we never did get housekeeping. Looked like exhaust fan in bathroom but it didn\'t work so we went to Walgreens and bought air freshener. Fire alarm occurred on Monday night of our stay and as my son and I were going down, husband was on his way back up and they were saying "false alarm. Go back to your rooms." (even if false alarm, I thought guests were to exit building and hotel do headcount to make sure everyone is accounted for.)

The room was spacious and clean. Would have been improved with more lighting and an additional mirror outside the bathroom. The staff were pleasant and the breakfast crew were friendly and very helpful. Used the galley parking as we were unfamiliar with the area and it was quite convenient.

The Towneplace suites was clean, the staff was very kind and attentive. The continental breakfast was good and different every day- fun twist was the Belgium waffle maker in the shape of Texas! Super close to the Riverwalk, Alamo, mall and endless options for food! The rooms were decent size with high ceilings - some rooms could use a little TLC. But overall happy with our week stay!

Some of the front desk staff were great. Others were cranky and not helpful. The housekeepers were very sweet and helpful. The actual property was not clean and the furnishings were worn out. Breakfast everyday was yummy, fresh, and had some good entree varieties.

Location great. Property feels run down. I got bit by bedbugs in the middle of the night. Although the staff moved me to another room no one was particularly interested in following up with me or being apologetic - I just got a very generic email about the room to be inspected by cleaning staff. I'll never go back!!! Yuck!

The location is great. Valet overcharged me. No local parking within a couple blocks so it seemed to be the best option. The first room was molded, smelled terrible, the curtain was torn and had something brown on it. We were moved to another room that had toothpaste on the walls in the bathroom, more mold on the ceiling, and was right by the elevators so it was constantly noisy. Walls are thin, that didn't help. There was a lot of banging we heard throughout the night, couldn't figure out what it was. Room service had to be requested, which we were never told to request them. The window unit had a hard time keeping up with the room temp. It stayed humid in the room - which it was a rainy weekend. The bed was horribly hard and sunken in toward the middle. I wouldn't stay there again if the rooms were free.

I needed one night for a conference which was at a near by hotel but messed up my reservation and needed one night nearby. I preferred the Marriott Suites x it was extremely noisy on the second floor and got a very horrible nights sleep

The hotel was nice, the room was good size, I have only two complaints, first Expedia said the parking fee was $21 but I ended up paying almost 50 dls. And also the mattress was very uncomfortable.

We had to switch rooms because the drain was clogged and the room was super small. The next room we got we had ac unit issues it kept turning on and off every 2 minutes and made loud noises. Staff was really nice though. Very friendly and free breakfast is nice.

Front desk staff was excellent. Someone is always there 24 hours. They greet you with a hello and a smile. The facility is quiet, very clean, meets all your expectations. The breakfast served daily has healthy choices, (3) hot items daily, waffle maker, toast/bagels, cereal, oatmeal, orange juice, apple juice, water, milk/chocolate Milk, and coffee 24 hours on the first floor lobby. The rooms are very clean & spacious. The Bathroom shower is huge, lots of marble, and stand up Shower. The sink and toilet is very clean as well. The Hotel is located in the heart of Downtown San Antonio, Texas. Walking distance to the Alamo, the River Walk, Restaurants, and Bars. A late night Voodoo Doughnuts across the street. The property has a pool, 24 hour gym, a small Business Section, and a small market for drinks, snacks, ice cream, and toiletries. I would definitely recommend this property to my friends and Family. I will stay here again.

Marriott overbooked their hotel and then sold our reservation to another company, so my wife and I had to walk ourselves and our luggage down the street into another (non-Marriott) hotel. To make matters worse, the valet systems at the two hotels were not compatible, so we had to valet from the Marriott hotel while staying at entirely different hotel.

I was given the wrong room upon arrival. I was told because I booked through a 3rd party (Expedia) it was not a guarantee that I got the room I booked. This is inconvenient and dishonorable bc upon booking , it does not read that anywhere. Front desk staff were not helpful at all either.

This suite had a nice kitchenette for those staying a few days. The room was clean and employees were friendly. Complimentary breakfast served was delicious. This location is set in the most convenient part of the downtown San Antonio. You can walk to the river walk where there are restaurants and stores. A small mall is not too far of a walk. Valet is fairly priced as well.

The suites were great. A full functional kitchen, great complimentary breakfast, very welcoming and accommodating staff. Not to mention a great location for walking in proximity to the mall, the Alamo and the Riverwalk. Great stay for the price I wish I had the opportunity to stay more than one night.

Some of the front desk staff were great. Others were cranky and not helpful. The housekeepers were very sweet and helpful. The actual property was not clean and the furnishings were worn out. Breakfast everyday was yummy, fresh, and had some good entree varieties.

Our stay here was very good. Every individual that worked at this motel that we came in contact with were courteous and helpful. I really thank them for that. The breakfast was varied and quite good, but I would suggest changing up the meat choices a bit - the sausage rounds were good, but we got tired of them, and the heated pepperoni was too spicy and greasy. The location was super - so close to the Alamo, shops, restaurants, Walgreens, Rivercentre Mall, Riverwalk. The motel was clean.

Great location to visit the Riverwalk area. Breakfast was so so. One of the two elevators was out of service, and later the second one was out as well. Yeah, not good having to carry our bags down 6 flights of steps. Okay, it was awful!

The check-in staff was warm and personable. My king room was very clean, and the hot breakfast was way beyond what I expected. They offered waffles, toast/bagels, bacon, eggs, potatoes, and muffins plus assorted juices, milk, yogurt, and cereal. I was impressed!

Nice comfortable room, nice bed and bathroom. The bathroom has mildew in the ceiling and walls. I stayed for 4 nights and even though the cleaning crew went inside the room, they did not vacuum, change hand towels, and did not replenish soap. I would say manager needs to get involved and monitor cleaning conditions.

First thing you should know…there is no self parking. There is a small section on the side of the street for valet, and if there’s no room to park in that area for a valet driver to attend to you, you’re forced to make circles around the block until a space opens up. Friday and Saturday evenings can be stressful in that area with traffic, so plan accordingly. Our room was clean, but we were placed in the 1sr floor at street level. We heard loud traffic, car radios, revving motorcycles and loud crowds of people outside of our hotel window all night. I’d highly advise bringing earplugs. We didn’t try the breakfast. We were too exhausted to wake up in time, but it’s served from 7:00AM - 10:00AM.
