At minimum, I expect a clean and comfortable room. This was neither. They had two air conditioners, one in the window and a floor-standing air conditioner vented out the same window. The window a/c didn’t cool at all, but it was turned on and blowing in 85 degree air from the outside. I turned it off. The floor a/c was kind of cool. I took out the filter. It was filthy. I cleaned it. That improved the cooling a bit. But this was a suite, and this a/c was well undersized. It was close to one of the beds, so I turned the vent and it kind of cooled the bed area. Next is cleanliness. The floor hadn’t been mopped. I found this out walking on it in bare feet. I had to brush the sand off my feet before getting in bed. Hopefully this is not indicative of all of their rooms, but this room should not have been rented.

It was an okay stay for one night. Close to the beach. Probably wouldn’t stay again. Room looked clean, but smelled funny.

Hotel room was interesting. I guess it used to be a hostel, so our bedroom had two queen beds and a twin bunk bed, and the bathroom had a stall in it, and two camping type showers. It was interesting but it got the job done. There were lots of holes or cuts in the ceiling, there was also poster board above one of the showers, as they seemed to cover a hole or something. The paneling on the floor was wobbly. The tv was plugged into an outlet that didn’t work, and there were limited outlets in the whole apartment/hotel room. Portable AC unit in the bedroom, it worked but was questionable. Parking is limited. Also the property is flooded. It could be worse, but could be better :)
