Very lovely hotel. The winery downstairs has an excellent sommelier with great knowledge of Macedonian wines. And they don't limit their wines to just their own but a selection of different wineries in the region.

Great spot, friendly staff, parking is outside of the Old town, so you do have to walk a little from the car. Breakfast was great, with the local food spread. Service was great, not 24/7. Make sure to get two room keys, because if one stops working and you are out at night, it will be an issue getting back to the room. Emilija the manager was wonderful, thanks.

Frukost bra för litet hotell. Svårt med access med bil. Vi glömde vår ”kortnyckel” på rummet. Eftersom receptionen stänger på kvällen skulle det kunna innebära katastrof. Som tur är var Emilija vaken och svarade när vi ringde. Hon fick ta bilen till jobbet och öppna för oss.

The location is excellent. Close to everything. The only complain, if you could call that, are the stairs. It is not anybody's fault, that is the way the city is builded. The fact that I have problem with walking is different story all together. Over all no complains at all.

The B&B was very conveniently located. Few minutes walk to shopping, dinning and all the tourist attraction. One thing though that can use some improvment is the bathroom. Other than that no negatives or complain whatsoever. On the other hand, if you could not do stairs this location is not for you. This has nothing to do with the quality of the service, which was exceptional, this has to do with how the old city is build and the geography of the city.

Excellent made to order breakfast. Views of Lake Ohrid cannot be beat. Comfortable and spacious room. Quiet. Convenient to attractions and restaurants. Street parking is a few blocks away.

Stayed only 2 nights here but I wish we could have stayed longer! Emilija checked us in and she was extremely accommodating and so nice! The hotel is a bed and breakfast and when I say breakfast I mean it! There is a lady there that makes your breakfast however you like and brings it to your table with a smile on her face! I wish I got her name! The coffee machine made all sorts of coffee and was delicious! The room itself was a double and extremely clean! The bathroom modern and so so nice. Our stay was phenomenal and I highly recommend due to it's closeness to the action of Ohrid, but the fact that it's tucked away enough to be peaceful. The view from our top floor room was just amazing. Will go back if given the opportunity!

It was a wonderful stay in the historic Old City of Ohrid with beautiful vistas from our balcony of the city and lake. Exactly as expected and sought. Staff was tremendously helpful, outstanding rooms, clean and elegant and and the complimentary breakfast was made to order and very enjoyable. I highly, highly recommend Vila Mal Sveti Kliment

Det beste med hotellet er beliggenhet og utsikt. Vel verdt å bo her bare pga det. Renholdspersonalet er hyggelig og gir det ekstra hvis man spør. Selve rommet var stort og fint. Badet kunne trengt oppussing. Blant annet var dolokket delvis knukket og fugene i dusjen bør byttes. Speilet var flekkete av rust. At alt er 100% kan man ikke forvente i et gammelt bygg, men det skal ikke mye til å oppgradere badet litt. Ville likevel bodd her igjen pga utsikt og beliggenhet.

The hotel is literally in the middle of the village and it looks like a middle age era, it\'s amazing. The receptionist was extremely warm welcome with us, the hotel is well care and the balcony view it\'s absolutely beautiful. The amenities provided it was okayish we prefer to use our products. The room was clean and well organized, but for couple a warning: the bed it\'s not unify by the mattress or pillow top, so if you move to much there will be gap in the middle of the bed. Besides that it\'s extremely comfortable. The coffee break it\'s a bit "poor"but the staff is generous. If you choose to drink hot chocolate it will ne a good option, because it\'s made with hot water and not milk and they do not have small things as complementary food or drink. Just milk and espresso. I highly recommend this hotel despite the small improvements that can be made.

Very nice place to stay - the location is super and the view spectacular. And really good service. We had some problems before arrival that the hotel has doublebooked - so we did not get the room as initially booked... but the hotel was very good in communicating this, found a good solution and was "up front" on this all the way through (mistake happens - but they took responsibility, communicated and dealt with this in a super way). Rooms are good and big - not the most modern - but super clean In previous reviews the breakfast has been described as "small and plain"... but it was way better than expected - with cereals, youguhurts, eggs and sausages and good local bread. The coffee though... not the best ;-) All in all - a VERY good stay... and we will be back!

Hotellet ligger i en veldig flott gate midt i gamlebyen i Ohrid. Selve rommet er fint og har grei størrelse, med veranda som har utsikt over sjøen. Frokosten var veldig enkel, Tørt toastbrød med stekt egg eller eggerøre. Kaffen var udrikkelig. De to første dagene hadde de også litt pålegg. Vi bodde fire netter, de to første stelte de rommet. Etter det gjorde de ikke det. Man kunne ikke skulde ned toalettpapiret i do, så det ble veldig ekkelt når de ikke stelte rommet. Veldig synd, de hadde potensialet til å være et veldig bra lite hotell, men de gjorde ikke mer enn helt nødvendig.

Excellent hotel overlooking one of the many churches in Ohrid. Staff were friendly and helpful. My room was spacious and had everything I needed. I'd stay again when I'm back in Ohrid.

Overall, this hotel is a budget option and it feels like such when you get here. The lobby stuff is very nice however you’re not here 24/7. The wall and windows are paper thin and all the noises from neighboring rooms and the outside are easily heard when you’re trying to sleep at night. I also hear a continuous sound of water that you can hear at night even when your AC is completely off.
Overall, this hotel is a budget option and it feels like such when you get here. The lobby stuff is very nice however you’re not here 24/7. Stayed only 2 nights here but I wish we could have stayed longer! Emilija checked us in and she was extremely accommodating and so nice! The hotel is a bed and breakfast and when I say breakfast I mean it! There is a lady there that makes your breakfast however you like and brings it to your table with a smile on her face! I wish I got her name! The coffee machine made all sorts of coffee and was delicious! The room itself was a double and extremely clean! The bathroom modern and so so nice. Our stay was phenomenal and I highly recommend due to it's closeness to the action of Ohrid, but the fact that it's tucked away enough to be peaceful. The view from our top floor room was just amazing. Will go back if given the opportunity!

My wife and I were first time visitors to Ohrid and originally had planned a one night stay. We enjoyed our stay so much that we were lucky enough to stay a second night at the B&B. The staff were highly communicative before and during our stay. It is a great location near all the sights of the Old Town. We really can't say enough about how accommodating the staff were and how great the location is. Wonderful breakfast also!

Great spot, friendly staff, parking is outside of the Old town, so you do have to walk a little from the car. Breakfast was great, with the local food spread. Service was great, not 24/7. Make sure to get two room keys, because if one stops working and you are out at night, it will be an issue getting back to the room. Emilija the manager was wonderful, thanks.

The property is very nice. We had a dread room with a lake view. Staff was always excellent, wine was great and the hotel is conveniently located to walk to all attractions in town. Instructions to park were also great, it was a 5min walk from the recommended street to park to the hotel.

The location is excellent. Close to everything. The only complain, if you could call that, are the stairs. It is not anybody's fault, that is the way the city is builded. The fact that I have problem with walking is different story all together. Over all no complains at all.

The B&B was very conveniently located. Few minutes walk to shopping, dinning and all the tourist attraction. One thing though that can use some improvment is the bathroom. Other than that no negatives or complain whatsoever. On the other hand, if you could not do stairs this location is not for you. This has nothing to do with the quality of the service, which was exceptional, this has to do with how the old city is build and the geography of the city.

Very nice place to stay - the location is super and the view spectacular. And really good service. We had some problems before arrival that the hotel has doublebooked - so we did not get the room as initially booked... but the hotel was very good in communicating this, found a good solution and was "up front" on this all the way through (mistake happens - but they took responsibility, communicated and dealt with this in a super way). Rooms are good and big - not the most modern - but super clean In previous reviews the breakfast has been described as "small and plain"... but it was way better than expected - with cereals, youguhurts, eggs and sausages and good local bread. The coffee though... not the best ;-) All in all - a VERY good stay... and we will be back!

Nice hotel set into the hillside. Breakfast included was minimal but they had great coffee. The room was very comfortable with very good mattresses. It’s close enough to all the shops and restaurants to walk there in a few minutes but just far enough away to make it nice and quiet.

Hotellet ligger i en veldig flott gate midt i gamlebyen i Ohrid. Selve rommet er fint og har grei størrelse, med veranda som har utsikt over sjøen. Frokosten var veldig enkel, Tørt toastbrød med stekt egg eller eggerøre. Kaffen var udrikkelig. De to første dagene hadde de også litt pålegg. Vi bodde fire netter, de to første stelte de rommet. Etter det gjorde de ikke det. Man kunne ikke skulde ned toalettpapiret i do, så det ble veldig ekkelt når de ikke stelte rommet. Veldig synd, de hadde potensialet til å være et veldig bra lite hotell, men de gjorde ikke mer enn helt nødvendig.

A Nice View, but Room for Improvement We stayed at this hotel during our honeymoon. While the view was lovely, the overall experience could have been better. Despite informing the hotel that we were on our honeymoon, no special touch or complimentary honeymoon amenity was provided. Of course, such gestures are not mandatory, but they would have been a lovely way to make the occasion feel more special. The room had two separate beds pushed together. I did not make an issue of this during our stay, but I believe guests should be informed in advance when this is the arrangement, especially for a honeymoon booking. There were also some maintenance and amenity issues in the room. The shower was leaking, cotton pads were not provided, and there was no complimentary bottled water. The beautiful view was definitely a plus, but better attention to room maintenance, basic amenities and guest expectations would make a significant difference. With a little more attention to detail, the overall experience could be much better.
