It was a great experience. The room was clean and organized and the staff was friendly. The room has a small kitchenette that was well stocked (dishes, silverware, a few pots and a frying pan) for four people. We didn't use it but the laundry room was free use and the fitness room had a good enough selection of weights to offer a well rounded work out.

This was probably the cleanest hotel Ive ever seen. Even comparing it to rooms that cost 3 times as much. The room was clean, the laundry room/gym was clean, the lobby, the lot. And the people at the counter were not only very nice they were engaging! The ones on July 27 and 28 were especially! And the guy on the 29th I thknk was the manager was super helpful, too. We would have stayed another night but they were full. They have a huge assortment of snacks you can purchase, free use of the washers and dryers, a decent gym. Stuff you can borrow like more cookware and puzzles etc. They told every guest about all the amenities, too. I can see why they were full!

Pet friendly, great places to walk dog. They provide bags and a place to dispose of after. Clean, convenient for us and easy access off and back on to I94. The staff is great and try to accommodate your needs!

Had to stay here because I lost power due to an ice storm. Front desk staff were friendly and processed check in efficiently. Room was spacious and clean. Room had kitchenette with all the necessary utensils. Bed was comfortable and linens smelled fresh. I really have no complaints. Location is right off highway and close to restaurants.

Nice hotel. Our two room suite was great and comfortable. We did not use the kitchen but it had all the amenities that one would need. Our bed was comfy. We were able to Wings Stadium for our event. I would definitely stay here again if going to a show. Walkable to a couple of different restaurants too.

Room was very clean. Very much liked the full size refrigerator and small kitchen. It was nice having plates, glasses... Even though it it near the expressway, it was very quiet. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. Iwould definitely stay here again.

I booked a king size bed suite and was put in a room with 2 full size beds. The beds were uncomfortable and so worn that you felt you were falling in a hole on one side. Exterior door to the side parking lot had a broken lock so anyone could enter anytime without a key card. We would not stay here again.

Check in was fast, friendly and informative! Hotel was clean, quiet, and in a great location. The room was wonderful and spacious. I loved that there was a mini kitchen with a refrigerator/freezer, stove, counter tops, and microwave--I had driven across the country with food and freezer packs so it was great to have a freezer to refreeze the freezer packs. The bed was super comfortable! Wonderful stay! I highly recommend this location!!

Nice hotel. Our two room suite was great and comfortable. We did not use the kitchen but it had all the amenities that one would need. Our bed was comfy. We were able to Wings Stadium for our event. I would definitely stay here again if going to a show. Walkable to a couple of different restaurants too.

Not the best neighborhood Roll down security door at front desk. People passed out in the lobby. Mattress was completely worn out but, better than sleeping on the floor. Towels were dingy but, smelled clean Surprisingly quiet and the a/c worked Not terrible for a work trip but, don’t bring the kids

Pet friendly, great places to walk dog. They provide bags and a place to dispose of after. Clean, convenient for us and easy access off and back on to I94. The staff is great and try to accommodate your needs!

Check in was fast, friendly and informative! Hotel was clean, quiet, and in a great location. The room was wonderful and spacious. I loved that there was a mini kitchen with a refrigerator/freezer, stove, counter tops, and microwave--I had driven across the country with food and freezer packs so it was great to have a freezer to refreeze the freezer packs. The bed was super comfortable! Wonderful stay! I highly recommend this location!!

Perfect location for our visit. Husband and I were in town for a concert at the stadium across the street. Weather was crap so it was nice being close. Plenty of food choices around too. Friendly customer service at check-in and comfortable stay. Was a bit disappointed that there was only free coffee for breakfast but I should’ve just read the details better. Would stay again.

Staff deserves 5 stars. They were helpful, friendly, and accommodating. The outside of the hotel is mediocre and dates it a bit but the inside must be newly renovated because it makes up for it. It’s very nice for the price and CLEAN, which is the most important part. Downside is it’s a bit out of the way from the main sites but it’s a small city so you could get wherever within 20 minutes. Also wish they had breakfast. Overall I would stay here again for a quick trip.

Had to stay here because I lost power due to an ice storm. Front desk staff were friendly and processed check in efficiently. Room was spacious and clean. Room had kitchenette with all the necessary utensils. Bed was comfortable and linens smelled fresh. I really have no complaints. Location is right off highway and close to restaurants.

It was a great experience. The room was clean and organized and the staff was friendly. The room has a small kitchenette that was well stocked (dishes, silverware, a few pots and a frying pan) for four people. We didn't use it but the laundry room was free use and the fitness room had a good enough selection of weights to offer a well rounded work out.

This was probably the cleanest hotel Ive ever seen. Even comparing it to rooms that cost 3 times as much. The room was clean, the laundry room/gym was clean, the lobby, the lot. And the people at the counter were not only very nice they were engaging! The ones on July 27 and 28 were especially! And the guy on the 29th I thknk was the manager was super helpful, too. We would have stayed another night but they were full. They have a huge assortment of snacks you can purchase, free use of the washers and dryers, a decent gym. Stuff you can borrow like more cookware and puzzles etc. They told every guest about all the amenities, too. I can see why they were full!

I liked the option to cook in my room. I liked having food for purchase in the lobby. I would have liked firmer pillows and will look for a chair option versus just the desk. Overall, very pleased with the stay.

The room itself was spacious. The hotel looks dated, somewhat run-down. There is no pool and the workout room is a bit weird with random, mis-matched weights. The room was not clean. There was a half-eaten pop tart on the floor when I pulled out the hide-a-bed for the kids. The mattress cover was clearly unwashed. There was just an obvious lack of diligence when it came to cleanliness. We got a suite. A suite is one room with a separate, enclosed bedroom (perfect for a couple with small kids). Most suites have a separate wall unit and thermostat for the bedroom. This suite has one wall unit in the main area and a weird little in-the-wall fan that blew the cooler air from the main room to the bedroom. Kind of. I was hot and sweaty each night while my kids were freezing. Not only that, but the fan ij the wall removed privacy for me and my wife. There were just too many negatives for me to recommend this hotel to anyone. We will not be booking here again. I will say, as a last word of positivity, that the staff were friendly and kind.

My stay at the candlewood suites was very pleasant. The bed was extremely comfortable, great amenities, and a very helpful and wonderful staff. My truck battery died and not only did they have jumper cables (thank goodness), the guy spend 25 minutes trying to help me get that battery jumped with his own car. I will definitely choose to stay here again when I have to do an overnight stay in kalamazoo.

For some reason after check in I got a call saying my registration did not “go through.” They asked me to stop by the desk again. They ran my credit card again- which I was reluctant to do since the pending charge was already showing in my account. Sure enough, a second pending charge appeared. They apologized and said one of the charges would come off. It did, about 5 days later.
