Our six night stay in October 2025 was just wonderful. Steve and Helen were so friendly and helpful, the room was spacious and bedding very comfortable. One highlight was the balcony which added to the relaxation. The motel's location was excellent, adjacent to the main shopping and restaurant street and going through to the Lagoon using a private access gate. The lagoon pool and surrounds were lovely and again another highlight. Cheers Gill and Bill.

Greated by friends receptionist. Room was clean. Bed and pillows were very comfortable. Location is excellent. We parked the car in their secure parking atea and were able to walk everywhere.

Place is perfect for families. Who wants to be in the heart of the city cloee to every thing Sandy has got everything in the room, from dishwashinf deterhent to plates cups cutlery glass toasters and pans. Just go with your luggages and enjoy

We stayed for 3 nights and had a room close to the lagoon. Very comfortable however there was a bit of noise from the unit above. There was also construction being completed next door which started very early in the morning and sounded like it was in our room! Other than the noise the place was perfect. Close to absolutely everything with ample parking and security. The host was extremely helpful and provided us great options to explore. All dining options were within walking distance.

We stayed for 3 nights and had a room close to the lagoon. Very comfortable however there was a bit of noise from the unit above. An amazing location, right on the main street and backing onto the lagoon, but the hotel is pretty tired and in need of a refresh. If you want to be right in town, but on a budget, this is a good option.

The room in this old style motel was comfortable. Right in the centre of town next to the Lagoon. Easy access to everything. On site parking, Not peaceful at night however. Being so close to pubs and nightlife the noise from the street with people shouting etc wasn’t good. For two nights out of three it went on well after midnight. Very disturbed night.

I don’t think you can find a better location. To the front is the main street, to the rear is the lagoon. As far as the staff, Helen and Steve were more than accommodating and a pleasure to deal with. They recommended a place to go eat, and it was fabulous. The room itself is a typical beach room. The interior was clean, with a microwave, coffee and refrigerator. Again, location, location, location!

Location was worth sacrificing the luxuries- check in was a breeze & the staff were friendly & helpful. Proximity & access to the lagoon, beach and dining was amazing! Only issue was an additional door at the rear of the apartment that opened into a strange hallway/storage area that seemed to also be accessable to all the other rooms- bit creepy and made me feel a bit unsafe despite it being lockable- didn't like the 2 access points

Richard was amazing on arrival, he hung around even though we were going to be late. The room was lovely, you can see they take pride in their rooms. The aircon was on for us already which was greatly appreciated after a long drive. Will definitely be back!

I don’t think you can find a better location. To the front is the main street, to the rear is the lagoon. As far as the staff, Helen and Steve were more than accommodating and a pleasure to deal with. They recommended a place to go eat, and it was fabulous. The room itself is a typical beach room. The interior was clean, with a microwave, coffee and refrigerator. Again, location, location, location!

Our six night stay in October 2025 was just wonderful. Steve and Helen were so friendly and helpful, the room was spacious and bedding very comfortable. One highlight was the balcony which added to the relaxation. The motel's location was excellent, adjacent to the main shopping and restaurant street and going through to the Lagoon using a private access gate. The lagoon pool and surrounds were lovely and again another highlight. Cheers Gill and Bill.

Very centrally located, good food around and shops within walking distance. Loved the Lagoon right behind us. Absolutely amazing. Staff super friendly.

Greated by friends receptionist. Room was clean. Bed and pillows were very comfortable. Location is excellent. We parked the car in their secure parking atea and were able to walk everywhere.

We stayed for 3 nights and had a room close to the lagoon. Very comfortable however there was a bit of noise from the unit above. There was also construction being completed next door which started very early in the morning and sounded like it was in our room! Other than the noise the place was perfect. Close to absolutely everything with ample parking and security. The host was extremely helpful and provided us great options to explore. All dining options were within walking distance.

The advertisement here is very misleading - the 'outdoor pool' is actually a public pool that is close to the accommodation .It should not be advertised as having a pool, thats incorrect by Hotels.com ..The tired staircase to my unit was filled underneath with rubbish, pesticides and recycling , all on display .The carpet in the hallway was disgusting to be polite .The hallway door was never secured at night and the security to the unit was a push button lock only , like you would have to a bathroom .Location is its saving grace but it really needs some TLC and health and safety checks .

Start with checked in late(turns out Australia has specific hours to check in at many locations) and the clerk made all the arrangements to make this happen for us. The room while older in design is very large and everything works the way it should. Only spent one night, set up is definitely for longer stays. Right there in the middle of Main Street of Airlie. Definitely will go back.

Lovely motel right at the heart of the town centre. Room was slightly dated, but it was clean and well managed. Will consider staying there again.

Clean and very friendly staff who helped us out with a late check-in. The only reason for the 4 stars is that it is a bi8t run down and would benefit from updated bed linens.
