Grote kamer/villa met binnen en buiten douche. Midden in de jungle dus geen verkeer maar vooral vogels en cicaden. Prachtig. Villa ligt op een heuvel dus stukje naar boven lopen maar als je minder ter been bent brengen ze je met een golfkarretje iveral heen

OMG there was nothing I didn't like! Let's just shout to housekeeping staff to robes, slippers, and linens. And our cabana/small villa was the best and so affordable in the shoulder season. The 2 for 1 happy hour drinks were appreciated and enjoyed. All of the wait staff were terrific. Breakfast was over the top and I love a bit of fruit and a savory breakfast. They arranged our island tour and our transfer to Phuket airport which was appreciated. The wifi was better than at home. After our visit to the James Bond Island we watched The Man with the Golden Gun. Enjoyed my Mani Pedi at the spa but you need to go NLT 3 PM. We were just minutes away from motorcycle rental which we enjoyed. Could not have been more delightful. Shout out to Ali and our long tail boat driver were amazing. Thank you to all at Koh Yao Yai Village! It was amazing!

Das Hotel besteht aus vielen einzelnen Villen im Wald - es kommt etwas Dschungelfeeling auf. Einige sind etwas in die Jahre gekommen - so auch unsere - und die Dusche könnte eine Grundreinigung vertragen. Andere Villen wurden offenbar erst kürzlich gebaut. Die Anlage ist direkt am Strand, allerdings wird das Potential vom Strand kaum genutzt. Kaum Liegen, Sitzmöglichkeiten für Abends etc. Bei Ebbe ist das Meer relativ weit weg. Wer ohnehin lieber Pool als Meer mag ist hier richtig. Großer Poolbereich mit Blick auf die vorgelagerten Inseln. Tolles Frühstück mit gutem Kaffee im Open Air Restaurant. Das Hotel stellt im Kühlschrank Trinkwasser und Snacks bereit. Die Insel lässt sich recht einfach auf eigene Faust mit dem Roller erkunden

Really nice little place in a forested area. Very friendly staff, very good breakfast, food in general is good. They have shuttle once a day which takes you to a stunning beach! They have different activities and the pools are large and well kept. Rooms are cozy with a high quality picture TV and and AC. I really would reccomend this place... Pricing on the food can be a little bit too much though, (depending on what you order).

Blev magsjuk efter ätit sallad till frukosten, träffade annan gäst som också ätit sallad till frukost och även hon blivit magsjuk. Påtalade det för personal som bara frågade om jag var allergisk. Annars lugn och fin frukost. Bra sängar och kuddar, städningen inte så bra.stora fina rum bra att man kunde ha AC på i allrummet och dörren öppen till sovrummet. Resortet behöver en uppfräschning för det pris dom tar, fick stickor i fötterna av soldäcket vid poolen och golvet i trapporna ner till poolen behöver bytas-lätt att göra illa fötterna på. Trevlig personal som alltid i Thailand. Överpriser för transporter. 5000 bath till Khao lak och vi betalade 3200 på närmaste butik vid vägen.

An absolutely fantastic experience to stay at an upgraded room along the beach with our own patio and two outdoor showers. If you're looking for an Eco retreat where the staff is attentive and friendly and you can get a bit of luxury I highly recommend this location as long as you get a villa closer to the beach. We loved the infinity pool located right next to an outdoor bar as well as the dining area that offered a rate of cultural activities. The value for what we were able to experience while on site and off-site was worth it. I liked the isolated feeling we had on the property and the locality of the property near the principal road that offered small massage parlors as well as eateries where you could experience local prices and local hospitality. A short walk up the road also allowed you to rent Vespas for $30 a day when we were feeling adventurous and wanted to explore the island.

An excellent stay. Absolutely loved everyhing about this place. Sheer luxury at a really reasonable price. The separate huts, set in the forest were wonderful. The restaurant, bars and pool were great. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff. The attention to detail was second to none. I can't recommend this place enough. A little piece of paradise in paradise.

Location og setting ud til havet er helt fænomenal. Alle pools har havudsigt og stranden er 10-20 meter fra poolen. Hele resortet er hyggeligt, godt designet og udført - og der er styr på de fleste detaljer. Morgenmaden er bare go’, velanrettet og markant over thai standard. Fitnesscenteret er der, men det er ikke derfor man skal vælge stedet. Det kunne godt bruge en lille upgrade.

Marvelous place. The pool, the breakfast, the service. I can really recommend this place. There was complimentory kayaks and padelboards that could be used in the sea which was to much enjoyment. There were also a vollyball net and other games that could be borrowed from the activity senter. They had sunchairs and hammocks around the beach. With happy hour the drinks were fairly reasonable. Lunch by the pool was great and fair priced for a hotel. There were resturants whitin walking distans that were very nice. Recommend waking up to look at the sunrise. The view from the beach and pool was amazing! The pick up service provoided by the hotel was perfect. Reccomend using that. Price was fair commpared to getting taxis on both sides and boat travel. Hotel arranged everything. We were put on a speed boat with just another couple from Phuket, so very qiuck to get going. If you are a couple or a family dont hesitate to choose this hotel.

Super hyggeligt resort i fantastiske omgivelser. Fantastisk mad og et personale i topklasse. Desværre ramte vi en periode, hvor mange hytter var under renovering, hvilket gav en masse byggerod og -larm.

Vi var mega glade for Hotel Yao Yao Village! Det er det smukkeste hotel midt i junglen med de fedeste bongalows – fredeligt og virkelig hyggeligt. Personalet var super søde og rare, og morgenmaden var mega mega lækker og varieret. Poolen var fantastisk – ren afslapning med den smukkeste udsigt. Alt var pænt, rent og gennemført. Vi kommer helt sikkert igen!

Slidt hotel hvor tingene ser pænt ud på overfladen. Poolen ved pool rooms var meget beskidt og der flød ting rundt. Der var rotter/gnavere i væggen der løb rundt om aftenen og natten. Bedste ting var beliggenhed, der lå på en bakketop væk fra den værste larm. Rengøring fandt ikke sted, eller var så sent på eftermiddagen at man var på rummet, og derfor ikke fik rengøring.
Slidt hotel hvor tingene ser pænt ud på overfladen. Poolen ved pool rooms var meget beskidt og der flød ting rundt. Der var rotter/gnavere i væggen der løb rundt om aftenen og natten. Nous avons passé un merveilleux séjour au sein de cet hôtel magnifique, très bien entretenu. Le personnel est très professionnel et accueillant. Les chambres sont de grande qualité. Le petit-déjeuner est incroyable avec une vue magnifique face à la mer. Vous pouvez y aller sans hésiter.

Dejligt stille hotel. Lidt slidt pool med plads til forbedringer. Hyggelige huse med god aircondition. Super morgenmad. Spis på restauranten for enden af vejen til middag og aften. Her er kvaliteten helt i top og prisen det halve. Alt i alt et dejligt ophold. Forvent mange børn på hotellet.

Grote kamer/villa met binnen en buiten douche. Midden in de jungle dus geen verkeer maar vooral vogels en cicaden. Prachtig. Villa ligt op een heuvel dus stukje naar boven lopen maar als je minder ter been bent brengen ze je met een golfkarretje iveral heen

OMG there was nothing I didn't like! Let's just shout to housekeeping staff to robes, slippers, and linens. And our cabana/small villa was the best and so affordable in the shoulder season. The 2 for 1 happy hour drinks were appreciated and enjoyed. All of the wait staff were terrific. Breakfast was over the top and I love a bit of fruit and a savory breakfast. They arranged our island tour and our transfer to Phuket airport which was appreciated. The wifi was better than at home. After our visit to the James Bond Island we watched The Man with the Golden Gun. Enjoyed my Mani Pedi at the spa but you need to go NLT 3 PM. We were just minutes away from motorcycle rental which we enjoyed. Could not have been more delightful. Shout out to Ali and our long tail boat driver were amazing. Thank you to all at Koh Yao Yai Village! It was amazing!

Really nice little place in a forested area. Very friendly staff, very good breakfast, food in general is good. They have shuttle once a day which takes you to a stunning beach! They have different activities and the pools are large and well kept. Rooms are cozy with a high quality picture TV and and AC. I really would reccomend this place... Pricing on the food can be a little bit too much though, (depending on what you order).

We had an amazing two night stay for our honeymoon. This was our favorite accommodation on our two-week trip in Thailand. Lovely rooms with a beautiful outdoor shower. Private veranda with lounge chairs and couch. The pool area was extravagant, with a very large infinity pool that overlooks the beautiful sea and islands (great sunset!). Plenty of seating. Happy hour drinks (and prices) were great, and we indulged in plenty of fresh mojitos. We booked James Bond island group tour through the hotel and it was just us (but even with four other people it would have been great). Our guide spoke good English and was very friendly. The breakfast buffet was incredible as well as all the other meals we had. We loved this place and cannot wait to return some day!

The property was in a very quiet location, not much else around. We booked a beach front villa. It was not exactly on the beach and the beach was not very impressive. We had a view of the beach but had to walk a bit to be on the beach, and you couldn't really swim in the sea as rocky.

Gorgeous hotel, beautiful rooms, lovely pool area and pool bar. Staff are so helpful especially Rooddy!! Views are breathtaking, on the beach and close to Phang Nga Bay which must not be missed. Excellent breakfast, lunch is good but dinner is very disappointing. We ate in both restaurants, the grill was good but the staff were unable to understand our request for a simple grilled pepper which was a little bit frustrating. The other restaurant has a very odd menu and it was just impossible to get anything changed, for example I asked for prawns instead of chicken in a curry and I was told no so the result was poor food (prawn cakes were huge and tasteless) and poor service. We waited over 30 minutes for drinks at the bar and in general the service was very slow. The staff don't really understand much English and they don't really have any customer service skills. We went to the restaurant at the top of the lane which was absolutely fantastic! We went into the village but most shops/bars/restaurants have closed due to Covid. Beautiful island and a beautiful hotel.

We were married here in 2012. The tree planted at the time didn’t make it so the management arranged to have another tree planted to commemorate the wedding for us and our kids! Lots of improvements to common areas since 2012, hopefully some improvements to the villas will be up next. Staff are so kind and helpful and also helped us with a customized tour itinerary our kids wanted. We can’t wait to come back!

An excellent stay. Absolutely loved everyhing about this place. Sheer luxury at a really reasonable price. The separate huts, set in the forest were wonderful. The restaurant, bars and pool were great. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff. The attention to detail was second to none. I can't recommend this place enough. A little piece of paradise in paradise.

We had a wonderful stay at Ko Yao Yai Village off season. The staff are friendly and helpful and the resort is an idyllic oasis of calm and tranquility in a stunning setting. It would have been even better if the lovely coffee shop had opened before 11am!

An absolutely fantastic experience to stay at an upgraded room along the beach with our own patio and two outdoor showers. If you're looking for an Eco retreat where the staff is attentive and friendly and you can get a bit of luxury I highly recommend this location as long as you get a villa closer to the beach. We loved the infinity pool located right next to an outdoor bar as well as the dining area that offered a rate of cultural activities. The value for what we were able to experience while on site and off-site was worth it. I liked the isolated feeling we had on the property and the locality of the property near the principal road that offered small massage parlors as well as eateries where you could experience local prices and local hospitality. A short walk up the road also allowed you to rent Vespas for $30 a day when we were feeling adventurous and wanted to explore the island.

Hele resortet er hyggeligt, godt designet og udført - og der er styr på de fleste detaljer. Morgenmaden er bare go’, velanrettet og markant over thai standard. Fitnesscenteret er der, men det er ikke derfor man skal vælge stedet. Det kunne godt bruge en lille upgrade.

We will come back. The villas are large and clean. Please remember you are basically in a hut in the jungle so if that’s not your thing then don’t come here. We saw all sorts of cool wildlife. The outdoor showers are so cool, we never took indoor showers. The food is great. The beach here is clean and swimmable. There are lots of families here so definitely family friendly. Not wheelchair or disability friendly landscape though, lots of hills and steps. The breakfast is the best I’ve ever had at a resort. Prices inside resort are reasonable. There are local options right outside the resort too. We drive around the whole Island on a motorbike and didn’t see any place we would rather be. This is the best one.

Blev magsjuk efter ätit sallad till frukosten, träffade annan gäst som också ätit sallad till frukost och även hon blivit magsjuk. Påtalade det för personal som bara frågade om jag var allergisk. Annars lugn och fin frukost. Bra sängar och kuddar, städningen inte så bra.stora fina rum bra att man kunde ha AC på i allrummet och dörren öppen till sovrummet. Resortet behöver en uppfräschning för det pris dom tar, fick stickor i fötterna av soldäcket vid poolen och golvet i trapporna ner till poolen behöver bytas-lätt att göra illa fötterna på. Honestly the best place I’ve stayed at. Breakfast was sooo nice. Staff were elite, room was v nice, I went during the less busy time and had the pool to myself sometimes. Cannot recommend enough

We had a wonderful stay at Ko Yao Yai Village off season. The staff are friendly and helpful and the resort is an idyllic oasis of calm and tranquility in a stunning setting. It would have been even better if the lovely coffee shop had opened before 11am!

Overall very good - and great value for the level of accommodation. Though as a solo traveller I don’t think they’re as well set up vs for couples - surprised I was checking in and trying to seat me far away on my own for dinner? Service is slow and the food ok (better pad Thai in a local restaurant for eg) but the pool and villas make up for this. Overall would recommend highly.

An excellent stay. Absolutely loved everyhing about this place. Sheer luxury at a really reasonable price. The separate huts, set in the forest were wonderful. The restaurant, bars and pool were great. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff. The attention to detail was second to none. I can't recommend this place enough. A little piece of paradise in paradise.

Location og setting ud til havet er helt fænomenal. Alle pools har havudsigt og stranden er 10-20 meter fra poolen. Hele resortet er hyggeligt, godt designet og udført - og der er styr på de fleste detaljer. Morgenmaden er bare go’, velanrettet og markant over thai standard. Fitnesscenteret er der, men det er ikke derfor man skal vælge stedet. Det kunne godt bruge en lille upgrade.

Dejligt stille hotel. Lidt slidt pool med plads til forbedringer. Hyggelige huse med god aircondition. Super morgenmad. Spis på restauranten for enden af vejen til middag og aften. Her er kvaliteten helt i top og prisen det halve. Alt i alt et dejligt ophold. Forvent mange børn på hotellet.

This hotel is a dream! We stayed here two weeks and we loved it, such beautiful nature, lovely staff and lots of daytrips possible. Mostly we chilled at the pool and poolbar which was right by the ocean. The breakfast was absolutely delicious. We will definitely come back!

Fantastic high quality hotel, amazing rooms and amenities. Would highly recommend. Probably in my top 5 of hotels ever stayed in. Breakfast was also very good, restaurants could do with some fans in high heat season. Absolutely nothing to complain about.
