The place was clean and quiet with a very comfortable bed so for the price it was a decent place. Not much of a breakfast and no workout equipment neither of which are necessities but nice options when you are staying for a few days

It was cheap and close to site. The parking lot was iced over and slippery. Lastly they needed a $100 cash for a deposit that is not listed so that was a pain.

The beds were comfortable, but the property is very dated, the office was messy, and we were the only guest vehicle in the parking lot when we pulled in so it was kind of eerie.

This motel is sorely in need of an update on the doors and hallways within the building. I felt like I was walking into 1985 as soon as I walked through the building. I understand the capital costs that this presents but it would go a long way for your longevity.

Reception and breakfast area were separate from the entrance to rooms, bullet proof glass around reception desk, reception desk chair falling apart, room had a bad smell, dirty chairs in room stained with something, bad paint job in room, bathroom door coming off judges so could not close the door

Stayed here for 1 night during a roadtrip. Check in was a smidge time consuming but easy otherwise. Facilities are quite dated but was okay for 1 night. Room came with a fridge which was nice. The room had AC but was quite weak despite setting adjustments. Bed was comfortable.

Facilities are older, smell like smoke even though it’s smokeless facility. No coffee pots in room, TV reception poor quality, not a lot of amenities, but it was a good price.

This is a basic place to stay, without breakfast included. Kwik Trip is a short distance away for needs. You have your room with heat/ac, ice machine, pop machine, vending machine, washer and dryer. This is exactly the kind of room I needed. I have nothing negative to say about staying here.

While the building definitely has seen better days, I still had a couple good nights of sleep. Breakfast was sparse, as already described in previous reviews. Be prepared for no elevators and potentially no “Do Not Disturb” signs to be in your rooms. Staff interactions were helpful and speedy.

The hotel advertised a breakfast but they served one in 2 years. There was no coffee and the vending machines didnt work. This hotel is in Minnesota and the parking lot was plowed or salted. My car got stuck in the parking lot 3 times and the staff were not helpful. One of the times we were stuck we were in the middle of the parking lot and were blocking the drive into the parking lot and the company they contacted with refused to come and put salt on the parking lot. Substandard in every way.

If you’re looking for a quick night’s stay for yourself, it is nice. The breakfast is simple but works as a snack to tame your hunger before a bigger meal. The top sheet on the bed had hairs on it that weren’t mine. It was worn so thin in places, it looked like it was stained. It wasn’t though. The furniture is very nice. The room had everything one would expect from an older hotel. There was no microwave, however. Overall, the conditions, amenities, and services were commensurate with the price.

The property smelled like stale cigarette smoke and a funk I cannot place. The bed was comfortable and the room was clean but very dated. The breakfast compared to other hotels for the same price was laughable. For a place to lay your head it’s fine for the price as long as you can stand the smells.

This is a dated property. Things could be repaired. I took disinfectant wipes to everything in the room and they came up clean. Not a smudge of anything dirty on them. Even though it doesn't look the best, The place is cleaned well!! The owner and his wife were at the front desk when I checked in. Very pleasant people. This is a budget friendly hotel. It is in a good location for Anoka. I wasn't concerned with any kind of breakfast at the hotel. There is a place for breakfast three blocks away that was perfect.

The hallways had a terrible order and the rooms smelled unclean. Although it says it's a non smoking building, the bedspreads are covered in cigarette burns. We only stayed one night as the beds are so worn out it was impossible to get any sleep.

The room was fine, but the walls are super thin and you can hear everyone talking in the hall. The floor it vinyl slabs with big gaps in it. Just a very run down feel. Also no continental breakfast even though it's advertised.

Liked the appearance and feel of the beds BUT they were very difficult to get into because they were too high unless you were over 6 feet tall!! Each room should include a step stool to help you get in bed. Also was disapointed that there was no coffee available or donuts/rolls available in the morning. We were happy with the cleanliness of the room and ammenities.

Great for our stay after the Taylor Swift concert. We booked this hotel in Anoka and took the Rally bus motorcoach to the Taylor Swift concert. It was a good basic stay for us, quiet and safe. We were caught off guard though by the $100 cash (physical cash) deposit that was required. I was told that my card could not be used as a credit card, but I always use it as both a credit and debit card. It would be helpful to update the Expedia listing to state that physical cash is required as a deposit if you feel their card is not a credit card, so others are not caught off guard. Overall good stay as we just needed a place to sleep for the night.

The customer service was horrible! I tried to check in early receptionist said no rooms ready which was understandable but the way she came across to me was not good at all then I was told I needed a credit card to cover incedentals I explained that I don’t have credit card but had debit card that I was using to pay for room she would not accept! I returned later to try and check in again the new receptionist much friendlier never mentioned a credit card and check in went much better but still left sour taste for me

Had already prepaid for the room the day before but when I arrived was told I needed a credit card to pay. Drove 15 hours and really needed to test so very disappointed. Lady at the desk was very rude and was not helpful.

Very rude customer service the lady at front desk that checked me in was very rude and unprofessional threating me when my daughter was helping me with my stuff to my room she said she was goin to call the cops cause she wasn’t on my room when I checked in like she wasn’t even in the room with me for 5 minutes my whole 2 days was hell

The front desk was great I was double booked and she called me and she let me know to cancel the Expedia room so I wouldn’t be charged since I wasn’t using it

This is a dated property. Things could be repaired. I took disinfectant wipes to everything in the room and they came up clean. Not a smudge of anything dirty on them. Even though it doesn't look the best, The place is cleaned well!! The owner and his wife were at the front desk when I checked in. Very pleasant people. This is a budget friendly hotel. It is in a good location for Anoka. I wasn't concerned with any kind of breakfast at the hotel. There is a place for breakfast three blocks away that was perfect.

When I travel I generally look for the cheapest places to stay. This means that I'm willing to compromise on amenities. The Regency Inn was the cheapest place within reasonable distance to the venue I was in town for, and I found a lack of amenities as I expected. There was no in room coffee maker, the refrigerator barely got below room temperature on its coldest setting, and the hair dryer didn't work. But it did well on the two most important things; the room was clean and quiet, and the price was lower than its competition. That's why I gave it four stars overall. You could do worse, and I have in the past, if what you want is a cheap place to sleep.

Construction made access difficult. I had reserved for 2 nights but, for medical reasons, had to check out early. Was out the $75 for the second night. Such is life.

Was without a room key for some time. Had to bother the desk person a few times to let me in my room. Technical issues apparently. Also, its not close to anything you might need in terms of a store or restaurant.

This is a basic place to stay, without breakfast included. Kwik Trip is a short distance away for needs. You have your room with heat/ac, ice machine, pop machine, vending machine, washer and dryer. This is exactly the kind of room I needed. I have nothing negative to say about staying here.

The property smelled like stale cigarette smoke and a funk I cannot place. The bed was comfortable and the room was clean but very dated. The breakfast compared to other hotels for the same price was laughable. For a place to lay your head it’s fine for the price as long as you can stand the smells.

The room was fine, but the walls are super thin and you can hear everyone talking in the hall. The floor it vinyl slabs with big gaps in it. Just a very run down feel. Also no continental breakfast even though it's advertised.

The place was clean and quiet with a very comfortable bed so for the price it was a decent place. Not much of a breakfast and no workout equipment neither of which are necessities but nice options when you are staying for a few days

Liked the appearance and feel of the beds BUT they were very difficult to get into because they were too high unless you were over 6 feet tall!! Each room should include a step stool to help you get in bed. Also was disapointed that there was no coffee available or donuts/rolls available in the morning. We were happy with the cleanliness of the room and ammenities.

Hotel was average-nothing special but provided a good night rest while traveling. Very basic coffee provided in tiny cups w/no lids for traveling provided in morning. No breakfast. Towels were a quite thin but acceptable for the price.

While the building definitely has seen better days, I still had a couple good nights of sleep. Breakfast was sparse, as already described in previous reviews. Be prepared for no elevators and potentially no “Do Not Disturb” signs to be in your rooms. Staff interactions were helpful and speedy.

The hotel advertised a breakfast but they served one in 2 years. There was no coffee and the vending machines didnt work. This hotel is in Minnesota and the parking lot was plowed or salted. My car got stuck in the parking lot 3 times and the staff were not helpful. One of the times we were stuck we were in the middle of the parking lot and were blocking the drive into the parking lot and the company they contacted with refused to come and put salt on the parking lot. Substandard in every way.

A/C unit very noisy and not efficient. Outlets in the room very hard to get to. Outlets in bathroom need to be replaced. Exhaust Fan in Bathroom not working at all. Mattress sinks to center of the bed, should be replaced. No educational literature for guest information. Wi-Fi password, local dining, local entertainment etc.

I thought I put in a notification to be put on the bottom floor and close to the desk because I have a disability to where I have knee problems. But when I checked in, I was put on the second floor, but it was closest to the stairs, however, when I went to climb up the stairs, my right knee was hurting bad. I have stayed at the hotel multiple times and I haven’t had any issues with being put on the bottom floor or having my requests honored. I don’t know why I didn’t get what I needed this trip.
