This place is gorgeous! Every aspect of our stay was outstanding. The staff is kind, courteous, and very helpful. Access to the gardens made for a beautiful morning walk. We added on the dinner package, which came with two entrees and a bottle of wine and it was fabulous! They have live music every night in their lounge which was also really lovely. We can't wait to come back.

It’s in a nice location and the rooms are not bad, but everything seems outdated and from the 90s. The pool was dirty also. It just needs a good remodel. If they made the pool more walkable from the bar that’d be a big plus too.

Lovely location. Disappointed that the hot tub eas not working ( one of the reasons we chose the place) and tne food was below par. The resteraunt was not accommodating to my daughters lactose intolerant condition. We are getting tired of hotels, inns etc.. thst promote thier facilities like a hot tub, and when it it not working they offer no refund, discount...anything. Won't be back

This is a lovely property and so unique in that it’s near the grounds of the Oregon garden. The landscaping is as beautiful as the actual gardens! We also really appreciated the quiet and peacefulness which seemed to us to be attributed to the layout of the property. The pool and the sauna were excellent as well.

Beautiful location adjacent to Oregon garden (botanical gardens) and a very peaceful happy little community of buildings each housing about 4 separate guest rooms, a fireplace in the room and a small outdoor patio or deck also. Friendly helpful staff and one of the best burgers I have ever eaten in the lounge which had a wonderful singer playing guitar and sharing her own songs plus covers. Peaceful retreat, next time need to spend at least 2 nights here if not more...

Was pleasantly surprised by this property. The rooms were comfortable and clean. We had great service and breakfast was good. The rooms and property were all quite and appreciated it was well sound proofed. We enjoyed the pool and hot tub which were also quiet.

The absolute worst part was bed next to A/C unit. I could hear the next door occupants as loud and clear had they been in bed with me. Awful! They had every right to enjoy their space. I rent a room to sleep not hear the people next door. Cannot believe they built rooms with “A/C stereo.” Sleeping did not go well. This “resort” was dirty. Walking across our carpeting gave us black feet. Disgusting. The upholstery on the bed benches were very soiled. The wooden furniture has been dinged for years. There was blood spots on the light switch in the bathroom and the wall next to the toilet. The restaurant floors are awful to look at. Thick with yukky oils.

The setting is beautiful and front desk staff were friendly and courteous. The rooms are quiet with a nice, gas fireplace for heating. There is a small, private patio for each room. The breakfast buffet was delicious and refilled promptly by friendly staff. There was grout missing where the bathroom counter met the floor which was filthy; someone had dropped a pill which was caught in the crevice. We had to use our cell phones to call for assistance as the phone in the room, and TV, did not work. Assistance was prompt and left us with a working TV and cleared the pill from the bathroom. The bartender did not greet us as we entered nor did he smile the entire 90 minutes we were there. He perfunctorily took our drink and food order. When my husband ordered pie for dessert, the bartender walked away without asking me if I would like anything (I did). We do not plan on staying or dining at The Oregon Garden Resort again, although we do plan on returning to The Oregon Garden and exploring and dining in nearby Silverton, Oregon.

Wonderful experience. Clean, quiet, and ever so charming. We stayed two nights over Christmas and it was so magical with all the lights. Friendly staff, clean room, pet friendly.

Let's see.. towels were dirty.. there were bugs in my room - I am talking like a trail of them.. The staff is AWESOME! The rooms need some serious work. Bathrooms needed to be deep cleaned. The surrounding area is beautiful. And I just want to say again that the staff is great.. the place is just run down.

Clean, spacious room with a comfy bed and super warm fireplace! There was a cute private patio that we were unfortunately unable to use because of a thunderstorm, but it was nice to see. Lots of parking and a lovely area to walk around. Super close to town, too.

Nice quiet place for overnight stay. Only complaint, bed was horribly uncomfortable. Huge sag in one side of mattress, literally a ledge down center of bed the sag is so bad. Breakfast was better than most free breakfasts. Beautiful grounds.

The rooms are clean, spacious and there's a fireplace and a private balcony. We loved our room. We had dinner in the dining room and in the lounge. Both meals were great - especially the coconut prawns. Service was excellent and the staff are really great.

Somewhat unique property. There is a large common building with restaurants and such. Then the rooms were in clusters of about 6 rooms to a building and spread around in a large area. Nicely landscaped grounds. Heat, however, was from a gas fireplace which was hard to regulate. Breakfast had less choices than other places and quality of food was just OK. Upon check in, clerk forgot to put my keys in the holder so after I left the main building, I had to return.

While we experienced a few bumps and surprises, our stay overall ended up being lovely. The first surprise occurred before we checked in, as I didn't realize that the Oregon Garden Resort no longer is associated with the Oregon Garden and so guests don't get free admission. This didn't end up being a big deal, but knowing this ahead of time may have changed our plans. Then we had a few weird hiccups the first night of our stay: the batteries in our remote control were corroded, which was easy to fix, but more troubling were the issues at the Fireside Lounge. We sat at the bar and waited what seemed like 10 minutes for either of the staff to acknowledge us and bring us a menu (it was seriously that long!) Then they were out of CO2, so no ordering beer. Then the cocktail menu published online was no longer valid, so no specialty drinks. We ended up leaving the resort and going into town, but I do hope they get it together in the lounge. Things turned around after that, though, as the bed was very comfortable, the hot tub was lovely, and the daily breakfast was delicious. I would definitely stay here again, but temper my expectations next time.

Then the cocktail menu published online was no longer valid, so no specialty drinks. We ended up leaving the resort and going into town, but I do hope they get it together in the lounge. Things turned around after that, though, as the bed was very comfortable, the hot tub was lovely, and the daily breakfast was delicious. I would definitely stay here again, but temper my expectations next time.

The actual condition and comfort of the room were great, but the professionalism of the staff, especially in the restaurant and bar was questionable. The guy who checked me in was eating at the desk. The bartender handled money several times before and during making my drink without washing her hands. I sat for over 30 minutes waiting for a glass of wine before dinner. The sun was blaring in on people’s’ faces and no one offered to help lower the blinds for them. The complimentary buffet breakfast was really good. Overall, I would stay here again but would go into Silverton for dinner.

Jeremy was super helpful ❤️. Pretty sure the tall young man working the front desk was named Jeremy. Lots of local information. We enjoyed both bands in the lounge on the nights that we stayed. I think it's worth the upgrade to the garden room

Check-in was not good. It was late as we had moved in our son at college and stayed for a candlelight goodbye. Maps sent us down a wrong road. Then, we were given keys to a room that was already occupied and had to return to the front. Thankfully, there was a sign in the door handle so we did not open the door. We had to go back and start the process again. Once we got to our room, it was a clean and spacious room. Back on the road to home. I wish we had time to enjoy the grounds and Silverton. I would go back.

Jeremy was helpful with visitors new to the area and had great suggestions for us. Logan was great in the lounge. Very patient and receptive. We enjoyed the duo entertaining in the lounge. I highly recommend they do a Fleetwood Mac song or Don Henley and Stevie nicks song. Great property!!

Our stay is always fantastic at the Oregon Garden Resort. Stacey at the front desk was very helpful and friendly. The resort is one of our favorite places to go to for a little trip out of town.

Stayed for a wedding- the location was wonderful but we waited 2 hours to complete our meal being served due to low staffing and that really wasn’t great.

Nice place for a stay while hiking Silver Falls state park! Only didn’t get five stars because I wasn’t aware that the garden itself wasn’t part of the hotel. You have to pay to get in. Breakfast was just ok but it was really nice to be able to eat it in their restaurant with nice views and actual plate ware, giving it a feel of eating in an actual restaurant…for free! Overall, a great place to stay in Silverton!! Would def recommend.

This hotel was nice, quiet, clean and safe. The restaurant was convenient. The town of Silverton was super cute and we enjoyed the Oregon Garden as well.

Amazing location to the Oregon Garden. Unfortunately, the relationship with the Oregon Garden was broken during the covid pandemic. No longer is there a Oregon Garden shuttle that picks guests up at the resort nor are guest tickets for the Oregon Garden provided with a stay at the resort.

Beautiful location. Quiet and comfortable rooms. All of the staff were friendly and welcoming. Pool was nice. Good, hot breakfast provided. The gardens are a small extra cost, but worth it. Recommend!

Great old resort right next to amazing Oregon Gardens. It is a little dated and the breakfast is a little skimpy. It could use a make over and upgrade. But the views are amazing. It is an old school resort with one story buildings on meticulously maintained grounds.Free parking and close to town. We would stay again and recommend.

The restaurant is mediocre, even at half the actual prices. Service was fine, but the food is really blah. The offerings were somewhat limited. The included breakfast is very good, by way of comparison. I would stay again, but would take the short drive into Silverton for dinner.

The stay in the room was excellent, along with the fireside lounge listening to the live music. The complimentary breakfast was awful that was inside the restaurant area. Food was cold, no non dairy items were available, the coffee was rancid and tables were very dirty.

This place is gorgeous! Every aspect of our stay was outstanding. The staff is kind, courteous, and very helpful. Access to the gardens made for a beautiful morning walk. We added on the dinner package, which came with two entrees and a bottle of wine and it was fabulous! They have live music every night in their lounge which was also really lovely. We can't wait to come back.

Stay was lovely, some things felt dated, older than the actual age of the building, so definite intent involved. But executed well. It was solid for a 3 Star experience and the convenience for the Gardens and The Gordon House really couldn't be beat. If there is one thing I would change, I would probably skip dinner, though the meal was good and well executed, I didn't quite find the cost to equal the quality of what I would get in say, Portland. Quite a premium for the convenience, Silverton seems worth exploring for Dinner I think.

The rooms are clean, spacious and there's a fireplace and a private balcony. We loved our room. We had dinner in the dining room and in the lounge. Both meals were great - especially the coconut prawns. Service was excellent and the staff are really great.

When we got to the room we checked in and had to go out for the night so we just dropped our luggage off and went out. When we returned at night to go to sleep the mattress was not comfortable at all. We could feel the box springs and did not sleep well at all. In the morning I went out to the balcony which was very dusty, there were cob webs and dirt. The windows had bugs in them. You could tell that they did not do any maintenance on the balcony. We went to breakfast and the ran out of things at breakfast and just said they were out. I went to the front desk to explain the situation and he said he could do nothing about it but said I could contact the front desk manager. I sent her an email asking for some compensation for the situation which was ignored. I followed up days later and still not 10 days past our stay I have not heard a word from her. Not the kind of customer service that I would explain especially since we had gone from San Francisco up the coast and this was going to be the last hotel we stayed out prior to flying home from Portland. The trip was great but not a good way to spend it especially since the night we were there was the most we had paid during our whole trip.

My husband and I will be making this lovely place a new favorite getaway. Our cottage room was comfortable, staff were excellent, and great service and menu at Garden View Restaurant. Complimentary breakfast was very good too. The plus for us was enjoying the after hours access (7am - 7pm) to Oregon Gardens only a short walk away.
