When I booked the hotel I thought the pool would be open. Did not find out until we got there that the pool was under construction. I have 2 children who love to swim so this was very disheartening. And then I asked for a 1 hour late check out and they charge $20 an hour for late check out. That's ridiculous.

It was the most affordable place in town by far. Breakfast was ok. Hot tub was nice. The hot tub was open from 9 am until 9 pm. It’s be nice if it was open 8 am - 10 pm! 🙂

Great ski trip, breakfast was good, enjoyed the pool and hot tub. Laundry room was nice to dry our swimwear. The hot water came out fast, in both the shower and sink. Had a microwave and small fridge in the room. Walgreens is walking distance for snacks and anything we forgot. A bus stop is right in front to take us to Vail. Hotel is not fancy but it had everything we needed and was affordable.

The hotel was so clean! It is out dated, but well taken care of. No dents, scuffs, mold, or smell. It was really nice. And the best part was getting real eggs at 6:30 am as I was checking out.

Expensive stay for a lower quality hotel. Hallways had dings and tears from people using the luggage carts. I found a drill bit on the floor in our room. Booked a second night at the front of our stay because getting one added on would have cost twice as much due to change fees. Doors were all very loud. Some stains on linens. Bed was comfortable. Breakfast was typical continental breakfast.

The room and amenities were great, pretty standard . However, I found a bed bug in my bed the morning after and it made me freak out. So far, I haven't experienced any bites, but the fact that there was a bed bug was alarming enough. I notified the property upon online check-out, and I did not hear from anybody.

When logging into the hotel WiFi it says it is not a secure link and others can see your information so I had to use my phone as a hotspot to work during my stay. Light bulbs in rooms were different temperatures so you couldn’t have all the lights on at same time. No signage for room numbers when getting off elevator so you have to wander the halls to figure out if you are in the correct wing. Fine for an overnight stay, but average at best.

The beds weren't that comfortable. Lumpy and kind of sunken in the middle. The curtain was stained and the tile around the tub was dusty. It was quiet and the price was more reasonable than nearby hotels.

GM Grace was excellent. Staff friendly and efficient. We had a pbl neighbor who was smoking at 9 pm first night. They handled( even though they kept smoking later). They moved us to an upgraded Suite. The rest of the stay was a pleasure.

The front desk lady was very rude! Not just to us but two others checking in. The manager person was also rude to everyone. The hotel is somewhat run down with stains all over the carpet, a musky smell throughout, and the beds are hard as a rock. We actually left a day early because it was terrible. I’m a really easy going person that rarely leaves a bad review because most people are doing the best they can but my goodness this place was not good at all!

The whole reason for booking here was for the early check in option which I paid extra for. An hour before arriving on our 6 hour drive they sent an email rejecting the early check in on that day. It made the whole trip chaotic and not worth staying there. The rooms were fine and facility clean but if choosing this hotel for the early check in I’d plan for something else.

The price we confirmed the reservation for is not what they billed. They added charges to our credit card AFTER we checked out. We called them and the lady was very rude and told us that she would call back and never did. Stay away from this place. We will never stay at another Comfort Inn again.

Ok hotel with good location for the bus to Beaver Creek. Breakfast was terrible. Hard to mess up dehydrated scrambled eggs this badly. Food kept running out. Hot tub was warm but missing the nozzle covers so it was just hot water but no jets.

We had some friends in town for a ski trip, so decided to stay here so we didn't have to drive to and from Denver each day. While the room felt a tad cramped with 3 people and all of our gear, it was a good value. The free breakfast, free parking, and proximity to the free Beaver Creek shuttle makes this a great location and value. We enjoyed the treats in the lobby and the lobby space for playing games at night. The breakfast wasn't anything special and got really crowded in the mornings around 8 AM, but for a free breakfast it did the job. The hotel room felt clean, and we especially loved our spot on the end. We would look to stay here again the next time we're in the area.

We had some friends in town for a ski trip, so decided to stay here so we didn't have to drive to and from Denver each day. While the room felt a tad cramped with 3 people and all of our gear, it was a good value. The free breakfast, free parking, and proximity to the free Beaver Creek shuttle makes this a great location and value. Very comfortable, spacious room with wonderful beds and pillows. Everything was good. My only complaint is that the coffee at the free breakfast was lukewarm and weak. Fix that and you stay a "Ten" in my book!

Great value for lodging in the Vail area! Complimentary breakfast every morning and in walking distance to restaurants, parks, and mountain views in Avon. I would recommend staying here as a base if you are visiting Glenwood Springs or Vail. The grocery store City Market is also available if you forgot anything on your trip.

The Comfort Inn in Avon is in a convenient location in easy walking distance of Nottingham Park and Lake, and of the walking/biking trail along the Eagle River. The outdoor pool was just the right temperature for cooling off in the summer heat with a swim. There is an adjacent outdoor hot tub and a fitness room with free weights & exercise equipment. Appreciated the ample free parking. The room we chose had 2 Queen beds and was large and included a bar sized fridge/freezer, coffee maker, microwave, and a tub/shower combo. The screened windows open, but noise from the parking lot and I-70 could be heard from our room, so we used the AC instead of opening the windows. If quiet at night is important, request a room facing the inner courtyard with the pool and jacuzzi which close at 9 PM. The complimentary breakfast is served in a comfortable dining room and included eggs, sausage, yogurt, waffle maker, bread to toast, cereals, fresh fruit, juices, coffee, tea, milk and condiments. If you are looking for good value, friendly staff, and a convenient location, this inn is an excellent choice.
