This spot is a Jewel in the rough, we received prompt service upon check-in with Kevin and they were very attentive and helpful with my requests. The room was super comfy and almost too cold for the lady. The mini fridge had adequate room for food and drinks, microwave and coffee maker as well. I didn't use the coffee maker because they had fresh coffee available in the lobby when ever I went. Beautiful property and the view we had on the north side was amazing. Breakfast was nice as well, sausage and eggs with cheese, biscuits, bagels, cereal, yogurt, juice,milk, soy milk and a cool pancake making machine.Pook and hot tub were refreshing, I think it was salt water because we didn't get any hint of chlorine and the pool was more than 5 feet deep on the deep end.Thank you folks for the awesome hospitality and care on our visit, we will definitely be staying when we come through again.

The pool was comfortably warm, which is unusual for a hotel. The property sparkeled. The beds were very comfortable. Our room was on the ground floor/ walk out basement level but still had a beautiful view of the canyon.

While a few minutes from the main downtown, it's a nice location. There's quick and easy access to walking paths and trails. Parking and check in were easy and I felt safe leaving my bike locked in the lot overnight. Rooms are also big enough to bring a bike inside. The beds and rooms were modern and comfortable, and they had nice soap/lotions. Could hear some folks talking on the patio one night but otherwise couldn't hear too much between rooms. They have free cookies in the lobby!

The gentleman at check in was so helpful and kond, then the claaning staff kindly asked if we were checking out and helped us load our things! 5 stars all around! Clean pool, great breakfast layout, and the amenities were amazing, especially with smaller kids!

We are locals who had to get out of our house for a couple days while our floors were being replaced. Very nice room except for a “master switch” was not labeled which made trying to turn lights off and on interesting. Found out this info by asking the front desk about it. Staff who checked us in brought up 4-5 times that she did not approve of us booking through a third party site. I almost asked her “do you just want us to leave?” The night before we left I arranged for a noon late checkout which apparently was not documented anywhere. Someone came to our room at noon (as we were leaving) and told us we were supposed to have checked out at 11. Also a front desk person mentioned to me that she had seen our door propped open when I went to get a new key to replace a lost one (it was propped for my kids given the aforementioned lost key). Overall the staff seemed super intense (not in a good way) and worried about everything the guests were doing. To be expected in a small town I guess. Pool and hot tub and exercise room were nice. Breakfast was fine.

Very nice property with a goos indoor pool. Newer facility, close to all the museums in Los Alamos. Breakfast was great, the staff were very friendly, checked with us often to be sure we had everything we needed. We had the room right over the front entrance and could hear the motors every time they opened. It wasnt very loud enough for us to ask for a different room, but if you're sensitive to noise, don't take stay in that one.

The property itself was well maintained and cleaned. However, cleaning staff did not leave hand soaps in the bathroom and an empty Kleenex box was left in the bathroom as well. The clerk at the front desk seemed uninterested in remedying the issues and appeared generally aloof and uninterested in his work. Phone calls to the front desk went unanswered. I would also recommend some kind of seating area outdoors, especially in light of the pool being indoors (which I failed to locate as I saw no visible signs indicating where it was located).

Front desk and handy man were so nice and helpful. But the hotel was a little run down. Room was not clean. Shaved hair all over bathtub. Lots of crumbs. But I loved the layout of the suite. And for the cost I’d go there again in a second despite the not great housekeeping. We had a blast at the national parks in the area. Breakfast was great.

Words experience In a hotel room dirty I find dirty clothes of other people in my room I reported to the lobby they did not care bed was dirty and stink staff they told me they did not have someone to help at the moment untill next day but they did not cleaning next day neither all my stay was dirty and nasty I even find a spider in my bathroom terrible will never recommend them

Hotel was very clean and I was pleasantly surprised for a Holiday Inn: friendly staff and comfortable room. Breakfast had MANY options and was surprised with hot items. I have a gluten allergy so there was limited breakfast items I could have but if I’d been traveling with my family it would been more than enough! Overall pleasantly surprised and recommend!!

Very clean , comfortable, quiet and up to date. Breakfast choices were excellent. Key locks on exterior doors work well but it took multiple card swipes each time to open room door. Also, Direct TV remote in room did not work properly. Finding or changing channels was very difficult.

Stayed for 4 nights in a 2 queen suite,very nice room and hotel, but...our suite was in the lower level under the kitchen, dining room and lobby and it was the noisest place I have ever stayed in my life!!! Great front desk staff except a gentleman that I had talked to on the phone before arriving and the same guy when we checked in. Obviously had issues with me using Expedia very, very rude!!! SOUNDPROOF YOUR ROOMS!!!

Tommy welcomed us to this very new hotel and couldn’t have been more gracious in making us feel welcome. Everything is pristine and new. Buffet breakfast is one of the best we had at a chain hotel. Lost one star in comfort category because air condition in room is loud and interfered with sleep.

I loved the property and hotel. My room was in the basement under the breakfast/common area and the noise was terrible. Unable to sleep because people were in and out of hanging out in that area all night.

The property itself was well maintained and cleaned. However, cleaning staff did not leave hand soaps in the bathroom and an empty Kleenex box was left in the bathroom as well. I would also recommend some kind of seating area outdoors, especially in light of the pool being indoors (which I failed to locate as I saw no visible signs indicating where it was located).

They were very helpful and found the cell phone that our 94 year old mom left behind when we checked out. We really appreciate their help and it meant a lot to her, she was stressed.

Everything was in beautiful shape. Breakfast, which is usually mediocre at most hotels, was very good. The night clerk took too long to check me in, but made up for it with good service and a good attitude afterwards. One of the best hotel experiences I have ever had.

Love visiting Los Alamos for the surrounding beauty. I always stay at the Holiday Inn the staff that works here are always friendly, professional and helpful. They always make sure you are taken care of. I give 100 stars. The rooms are always clean, the beds are comfortable, the pool/Jacuzzi are welcoming and the breakfast is delicious.

Breakfast was good, lots of options. Pool didn't have towels. Lots of used towels just laying around. The evening desk people were almost never there and they didn't answer the phone too. The morning desk person was always there. The amenities were good. The bed was comfortable.

We are locals who had to get out of our house for a couple days while our floors were being replaced. Very nice room except for a “master switch” was not labeled which made trying to turn lights off and on interesting. Found out this info by asking the front desk about it. Staff who checked us in brought up 4-5 times that she did not approve of us booking through a third party site. I almost asked her “do you just want us to leave?” The night before we left I arranged for a noon late checkout which apparently was not documented anywhere. Someone came to our room at noon (as we were leaving) and told us we were supposed to have checked out at 11. Also a front desk person mentioned to me that she had seen our door propped open when I went to get a new key to replace a lost one (it was propped for my kids given the aforementioned lost key). Overall the staff seemed super intense (not in a good way) and worried about everything the guests were doing. To be expected in a small town I guess. Pool and hot tub and exercise room were nice. The hotel could not check us into our room until about 6 PM, even though we arrived at 5 PM. The one representative working the front desk explained to us that the hotel was short of staff, and that this is a recurring situation. The manager, according to this representative, had already gone home and left the headache and problem with this one representative! As such, the manager was derelict in his/her duty.

Front desk clerk MARIA went ABOVE and BEYOND to help us during this stay. I booked this room for my husband and son last minute due to snow and dangerous travel conditions to come back home that evening after they got out of work in Los Alamos so I paid for this room with my card and their policy is to have the card present that room was purchsed with, so of course they did not have my card. Maria allowed my husband in the room and allowed him to get warm after shoveling snow since 4:30 AM and it was now 1PM. She was able to call her supervisor and emailed me a form to authorize them to use my card without me or the card being present. I was very thakful for her generosity because she could ha e refused to let him get i to the room u til that whole process was completed but she has a big heart and she treated us with kindness and understanding. So i want to let this place of business know that she is worthbevery penny and should probably be given a raise because she is one in a million! Thabk you Maria.

While a few minutes from the main downtown, it's a nice location. There's quick and easy access to walking paths and trails. Parking and check in were easy and I felt safe leaving my bike locked in the lot overnight. Rooms are also big enough to bring a bike inside. The beds and rooms were modern and comfortable, and they had nice soap/lotions. Could hear some folks talking on the patio one night but otherwise couldn't hear too much between rooms. They have free cookies in the lobby!

A really nice hotel in a very property constrained area. The hotel is a couple miles away from most services, but it is newer, very clean and has a nice walking path that can take you back into town if you choose to take the longer walk. Having a vehicle would be a definite plus for staying at this location.

The staff was very friendly. The room was clean and business like. This is what I would expect from this chain and worked for the buisness I needed to do. It is not near anything so you do have to decide if you want to be close to work or be close to after work places (bars, restaurants, or shops).

Good facility, good amenities, very nice hot breakfast. Had a check-in delay getting the Expedia and Holiday Inn/IHG reservation systems to talk to each other, bath tub drained a bit slowly, Very clean. lots of electrical / electronic device outlets. Might be nice if the next time the mini-refrigerators are replaced, if mini fridges with a freezer space/tray in them can be put in rooms. Might be nice to upgrade to slightly bigger/thicker towels next time towels are replaced. Overall enjoyable, pleasant, and we would certainly visit again.

I liked that it was a safe quiet neighborhood. Convenient for Bandelier. But my stay was during a bad time. Pool was broken and chunky. Laundry room only had 2 sets od machines and 1 was broken. The hotel was crowded that night for a sports team so it was loud(which is fine) but that meant the open spaces were not available for lounging. Breakfast juice and pancakes machines were broken. I think all the amenities were broken or underwhelming. The laundry machines were very dirty. I noticed a huge blook stain on my kids comforter(the one between the sheets they replace) after my kids had fallen asleep tossed the comforter to expose the blood stain. We informed them in the morning. The staff is very nice. It was just a visit were everything was broken and the room is too expensive for that. We stayed at a different hotel the next day. Few stores nearby. Requested accessible room. Did not get it because they didn't get the request.

Tommy welcomed us to this very new hotel and couldn’t have been more gracious in making us feel welcome. Everything is pristine and new. Buffet breakfast is one of the best we had at a chain hotel. Lost one star in comfort category because air condition in room is loud and interfered with sleep.

Great location to ride the motorcycle back into Santa Fe NM. Accommodation are kept. Easy to find, lots of parking with good lighting. The attendant for breakfast was very friendly and helpful. Made sure everything was stocked at all times.

Some of the staff was not at all interested in helping out. The other staff was very helpful. There was a nasty smell in the elevators and the the community restrooms were not very clean. No cookies in the afternoon. Just not up to the standards of other Holiday Inn Expresses that I’ve been at.

Hotel was pretty clean but staff was not at the check in desk when we arrived. We waited 15-20 minutes for them to arrive. Not usually a big deal, but after driving 12 hours that was the last thing we wanted. Other than that, it was a decent stay.
