The man on the front desk was super helpful and helped us with our bags as there was no lift. Our room was spacious but the decor was very tired. The bathroom door could not close. On the plus side, both the bedroom and bathroom were huge, and the bed was large and comfy. I had scrambled eggs for breakfast but they were very dry (maybe powdered eggs?) but my husband’s vegetarian breakfast was good.

Stayed just one night, wouldn't like to stay any longer, the staff are very lovely and breakfast was delicious but the hotel is let down by shabby areas the staircase carpets are badly stained and is in dire need of a makeover. The shower wasn't good either never got hot enough. The bar is uninviting and lighting is awful. No atmosphere and not cosy or inviting...

The bedroom was very clean and the bed was comfortable but the dining room was very uninviting and the breakfast was barely edible. However, that said, the reception staff were very helpful and courteous and overall it was good value for money.
