It would have been excellent if there was a little more light and a magnifying mirror in the bathroom. Also, if valet parking was not so expensive at $30 per night. We chose the self park at a garage behind the hotel which was $1 per hour since we only needed about 9 or 10 hours. There was construction getting around streets which made it more difficult. The room was very comfortable and modern.

We had a great stay. The only thing was I was not aware of the $30.00 a day fee for parking valet only. Just wanted others to be aware ahead. Really nice place to stay and very comfortable and stylish.

I have stayed at this hotel numerous times and for the area, this is probably the cleanest hotel and decent for the price point. What is hard for me to accept was no parking and the amount charged for valet. This makes the hotel extremely inconvenient with parking and accessible to the car as the parking garage is in the back of the building for a separate fee. Upon arrival, it is hard to tell what to expect from the hotel, as valet is out front typically and when we arrived there was no one there to assist. We weren’t greeted until we physically were facing the front desk which is odd since the front desk faces the entrance of the hotel. Staff is friendly, but asking for things felt a bit uncomfortable. We had consistent trouble with our key malfunction several times through out our time here and needed new keys 3 times. Which felt like a hassle because we were on the 8th floor and had to wait outside/called to have someone fix it. On our first day we called for valet to bring out our car in advance, and when we went downstairs we had to ask for the car to be pulled up again. The cafe staff and food was good, just not enough variety and it is very pricey especially for convenience. Other than the items listed, if this doesn’t bother you, it’s a nice stay as the rooms are kept pretty clean— just consider that they are small rooms.

Kind staff, from the woman who checked us in and gave us the quiet room we asked for (not that any might have necessarily been less than quiet, but she gave us a top floor accommodation), to the kind bellboy who helped with my bag and the lobby door on our way out when it was obvious that I wasn’t in a position to provide a tip. The room was super clean and very comfortable and the location was a quick few blocks from both 95 and the train station. Lots of places to eat nearby as well. And while not inexpensive, this hotel, when compared to other nearby accommodations, provided a really good value in our opinion.

The room was new. I felt the lack of ventilation annoying, since the window wouldn’t open, not even a tiny bit. The sliding bathroom door wasn’t locking in place, so there wasn’t a way to shut it properly, which can be an issue if you’re sharing. Despite these, rooms were clean and the bed was very comfortable.

Nice boutique hotel in the heart of Stamford. Very small room, however, and small bathroom but very well appointed. Nice towels and bedding. Nespreso coffee maker made lukewarm coffee but they have a cafe on 1st floor with better choices for coffee. Parking behind on Bell street cheaper than valet.

We have stayed at a Tapestry hotel before and appreciate the updated rooms. This room was very nice; however, the blackout shade on the window was smaller than the window! We woke up with the sun this morning after a late night. This was ridiculous. How does a hotel know the importance of a blackout shade but not realize the shade being too small for the window will essentially not serve its purpose of blocking out the light. Seriously? This is hotel basics 101. I called to complain and the hotel manager told me they will be changing the curtains in the future. This is nice but did nothing to satisfy me given the early morning wake up. For this reason, I strongly advise people stay away from this hotel unless you have an early wake up the next morning.

Staff was great but so disorganized they lost my 4 boxes i needed for a trade show that showed up in another storage area of the hotel the day after my event. It costs me an extra run to target, a late night and time online with ups. Least they could have done was comp valet or something but they had nothing to offer and no real answer.

If I could rate the staff here higher than 5 stars I absolutely would. I travel a TON for work, so when I say I think that the Lloyd was the fastest, most efficient hotel check-in process that I've ever experienced, that's saying something I was in Stamford for the world's most boring corporate planning meetings, so having a great hotel to retreat to was incredible. 10/10 stay, will book again for sure.

If I could rate the staff here higher than 5 stars I absolutely would. I travel a TON for work, so when I say I think that the Lloyd was the fastest, most efficient hotel check-in process that I've ever experienced, that's saying something I was in Stamford for the world's most boring corporate planning meetings, so having a great hotel to retreat to was incredible. 10/10 stay, will book again for sure.

This hotel is clutch. Kenia at the front desk was soooo helpful. She gave me recommendations for food around the corner. It’s a great location. Literally , down the street on Main Street are great restaurants: Kouszina, Noche de Columbia and Jerkyz. My hotel room was soo clean ( I’m a germaphobe lol). The bed was soo comfortable, I forgot I was in a hotel. Also the Amtrak is 3 mins away. This is my stample hotel in Stamford

Kind staff, from the woman who checked us in and gave us the quiet room we asked for (not that any might have necessarily been less than quiet, but she gave us a top floor accommodation), to the kind bellboy who helped with my bag and the lobby door on our way out when it was obvious that I wasn’t in a position to provide a tip. The room was super clean and very comfortable and the location was a quick few blocks from both 95 and the train station. Lots of places to eat nearby as well. And while not inexpensive, this hotel, when compared to other nearby accommodations, provided a really good value in our opinion.

The Lloyd is in a great location near Main Street in Stamford. There are many food options within walking distance. The rooms are very spacious, and the bed was very comfortable. The staff is efficient and courteous.

It would have been excellent if there was a little more light and a magnifying mirror in the bathroom. Also, if valet parking was not so expensive at $30 per night. We chose the self park at a garage behind the hotel which was $1 per hour since we only needed about 9 or 10 hours. There was construction getting around streets which made it more difficult. The room was very comfortable and modern.

Nice boutique hotel in the heart of Stamford. Very small room, however, and small bathroom but very well appointed. Nice towels and bedding. Nespreso coffee maker made lukewarm coffee but they have a cafe on 1st floor with better choices for coffee. Parking behind on Bell street cheaper than valet.

Unsure why the hotel is so expensive when room service is not offered and when I called to request ice, I was told to “go get it myself on the 4th or 7th floor”. The room is nice, but not nearly worth the money I spent.

For a hotel as expensive as this, I was definitely expecting room service. Especially considering there is a restaurant in the hotel. The room was also tiny. They way over do it in the pictures.

We reserved a deluxe room, but the room was the smallest we have ever stayed in. This is an Autograph hotel, but the offerings for breakfast were meager and no other meals are served. The staff were polite and helpful and the workout facility was adequate. Everything is painted black so how do the cleaning staff identify whether or not a room is clean?

The only negative was the coffeemaker in the room. We had 2 rooms, each room had 8 coffee pods and hey were all decaf coffee. I called Housekeeping and they did not have any caffeinated coffee pods, but I was able to order a pot of coffee to the room

Well to be honest I was disappointed with the Loft Hotel Hilton One of the main reasons the weather was well in the 90s and there was NO AC in the main lobby or lounge or breakfast and Bar area! When asked why at reception was told that the AC units were old and not working! Unacceptable! Every morning we had breakfast and would sweat to death not what I was expecting on my vacation! We were paying $245 a night plus $37 for occupancy tax that’s $282 a night I expected more from a Hilton Hotel for this price The only good thing that made our vacation special was the staff always friendly ,a big shout out to Francy who served us breakfast every morning such a lovely lady who always was polite and had a smile on her face when we greeted her and apologized for no AC So if you plan on staying at this hotel during the summer months you might want to call them ahead of time and see if they fixed the AC
