Check in went smoothly with Daniel. Unfortunately later that night the air conditioning went out in our room but Daniel switched us to another room as soon as we let him know (Daniel was awesome). Then the second room, one of the beds was broken (which was alright because we only needed one), but then the cable went out pretty early in the evening and was out until the following morning. They do have a pool though it is only 3 foot and pretty small. But overall it was a nice stay for what we needed it for.
Check in went smoothly with Daniel. Unfortunately later that night the air conditioning went out in our room but Daniel switched us to another room as soon as we let him know (Daniel was awesome). Then the second room, one of the beds was broken (which was alright because we only needed one), but then the cable went out pretty early in the evening and was out until the following morning. They do have a pool though it is only 3 foot and pretty small. But overall it was a nice stay for what we needed it for.

Basic, Clean, Good for sleeping. Fitness centre equipment was non function, both treadmill and eliptical did not work, and my door kept malfunctioning I had to have my key re coded every day by staff.

The property was nice, but it was disappointing the indoor pool was not operable. We booked this hotel specifically because it has an indoor poor.

Hotel is tucked away off of Atlanta Highway in Athens. Parking was a bit tight when full. Nothing great but nothing terrible. The indoor pool is about the size of a hot tub though.

Elevator said it was 5 months out of inspection date and sounded terrible. First room we had smelled like pee. After switching rooms key card failed to open door multiple times. The desk staff was amazing though

The area was completely booked for hotels and this was only decently priced room available. I was pleasantly surprised. Although the decor was a bit dated, the room was spotless. The bed, sheets, and bedding were as good as any Marriott. The flooring was clean and bathroom spotless. Overall a great value for money.

The staff were great and very helpful and friendly. The room however smelled very bad upon entering. Like wet dog and feet. It looked like the carpets hadn’t been vacuumed, there was debris all over. Overall it was okay. Just not very clean.

It is usable but the hotel is very tired. The beds, hot water and breakfast were good. The decor looks very old. There was no soap dish/shelf in the shower so it went on the floor. TV channels are hopeless but we were able to link my computer so we could watch Hulu. For the price, I expected more.

The staff is friendly and helpful. The place is a little old, which is fine. We found a bed bug in the sheets of one of our beds. The TV worked for local live channels but couldn't play the "free" movies because of some issue with a connection to the wifi. I couldn't get the wifi to work with any of my devices either. I followed the steps and it said I was connected and I watched the ad and then the connection never worked for anything for me even though it apparently was working for everyone else. We were there for the GA TX game and paid $375/ night. I know its a big game weekend, but for that rate I expect the basics to work.

Air conditioning was very noisy. The bathroom could have used a good scrubbing, but I always carry disinfect wipes when I travel so I was able to make do.

This place was on the struggle bus. The Internet wasn’t available. The first day in the front desk seemed like they were unwilling or unable to help. The ice ran out constantly on both of the floors where the ice machine was available. And the breakfast was decent, but struggled with items being out or very cold like the sausage this morning. Overall, if you just need a place to rest your head, I guess it would be OK but we will likely not return.

It's definitely a 2 Star hotel. Located behind a Sonic Drive-in. The room was clean although the "black haired" cleaning person left a lot of hair behind. TV was a 21 inch. Pretty small to see from the bed. Each bed received 4 pillows that were roughly 12" square. Looked more like "throw pillows". Of course, the small refrigerator barely worked. Not enough parking for the entire hotel. Many had to park on the side street or in the fast food parking lot. Breakfast was sausage and eggs or waffles or toast. No fruit, no yogurt no bagels, muffins etc. There is a McD's about a mile up the road. Would not stay there again as there are many other places nearby, but it was UGA grad weekend and everything was booked. All the hotels overcharge SEVERLY for this weekend. Friends stayed down the street for $400 a night. This placed charged $325 per night. For a 2 star hotel, that is just rediculous.

The entire property is old and needs updating. The wi-fi was horrible and kept cutting off. The key cards kept failing. Had to go downstairs probably 5 times to get one of the cards reprogrammed so we could get back into our room. The staff was wonderful and super friendly but overall the property really needs an upgrade.

It was frustrating because the key cards to the rooms (more than one room and more than one card) kept failing. We had to go downstairs several times to have them reprogrammed so we could get into our rooms. The hotel itself is just average. Nothing fancy by any means but the staff was really nice.

The hotel was generally okay, and it seems like the staff genuinely makes an effort to ensure guests have a satisfying experience. However, cleanliness could be improved, and the rooms are quite noisy. I could hear the guests upstairs walking around, and the neighboring room kept their door open, which made things feel less private. Overall, not a bad stay, but there's definitely room for improvement in soundproofing and housekeeping.

Absolute dump! Called to see if we could get an early check in after a red eye flight and was told it was no problem as long as it was after noon. But once we got there I had to wait for desk clerk to get off her personal cellphone (appeared to just be a casual conversation). She said absolutely no check ins before 3pm. Once we did come back and check in at 3pm we were so disappointed. Pool and gym closed for renovations. Still had beer cans in trash can in our room upon check in. Note slipped under door saying no housekeeping. Note at breakfast saying no got breakfast. Bathroom wall is unfinished. Parking lot had people standing around just hanging out smoking out of broken down cars. Would not recommend this place at all.

Where to start? First room we checked in reeked of cigarette smoke and the chemicals used to hide the odor. Desk clerk didn’t believe us so he felt the need to check himself. Moved to another room that the toilet seat doesn’t fit the toilet. The heater worked off and on, but the kicker was the phone ringing at 8:00 every morning. (Even after telling the front desk) Then we asked for towels and washcloths and were told we would have to go back to our room to exchange them 1 for 1. Hmmm, we needed extra because the roll in shower leaks out and into the bathroom. Floors were soaked. Honestly, it was laughable how the whole stay centered around the inventory of towels. Pool is dirty beyond dirty. Lastly, not sure how many rooms this place has, but they have 4 tables, with only 14 total chairs. Not one time were there seats available when we went to breakfast. People standing around with their plates waiting to sit. We had 2 nice front desk employees and 2 that didn’t seem to want to be there. Complained about the room above us pounding around from 3-6 in the morning and got the response . Sorry, you booked 3rd party. If the last 50 hotels stays, this is the only one I would never recommend or go back to. I forgot to add that the shower rod

Pool is dirty beyond dirty. Lastly, not sure how many rooms this place has, but they have 4 tables, with only 14 total chairs. Not one time were there seats available when we went to breakfast. People standing around with their plates waiting to sit. We had 2 nice front desk employees and 2 that didn’t seem to want to be there. Complained about the room above us pounding around from 3-6 in the morning and got the response . Sorry, you booked 3rd party. If the last 50 hotels stays, this is the only one I would never recommend or go back to. I forgot to add that the shower rod

The staff (Daniel) was super helpful in assisting me with switching reservation names from my daughter to her friend when we had an unexpected change of plans. He made sure her friends could check in with no problems, sent me confirmations of the change, and everything was super smooth. Thank you to Daniel for his help, very much appreciated.

The hotel was generally okay, and it seems like the staff genuinely makes an effort to ensure guests have a satisfying experience. However, cleanliness could be improved, and the rooms are quite noisy. I could hear the guests upstairs walking around, and the neighboring room kept their door open, which made things feel less private. Overall, not a bad stay, but there's definitely room for improvement in soundproofing and housekeeping.

We stayed here because I daughter was graduating from UGA. Decent place, not to far from downtown. Wish the overnight prices were cheaper. Breakfast was just normal. Room was decent and clean. Glad we had a room on the 1st floor.

Hotel is tucked away off of Atlanta Highway in Athens. Parking was a bit tight when full. Nothing great but nothing terrible. The indoor pool is about the size of a hot tub though.

The area is quiet. No one bothered me or my belongings. My room was nice and clean. The bed was so comfortable. I liked how everything was laid out even the instructions on the ac and wifi password in the card lol I didn't eat the breakfast though so i can't comment on that. The only restaurant within walking, that I can remember, was Sonic.

The AC did not work great in the room. The property could use updating. Staff was very friendly. Great hot breakfast. Wifi was weak. Clean room, not very appealing however. Quiet and convenient location.

It's definitely a 2 Star hotel. Located behind a Sonic Drive-in. The room was clean although the "black haired" cleaning person left a lot of hair behind. TV was a 21 inch. Pretty small to see from the bed. Each bed received 4 pillows that were roughly 12" square. Looked more like "throw pillows". Of course, the small refrigerator barely worked. Not enough parking for the entire hotel. Many had to park on the side street or in the fast food parking lot. Breakfast was sausage and eggs or waffles or toast. No fruit, no yogurt no bagels, muffins etc. There is a McD's about a mile up the road. Would not stay there again as there are many other places nearby, but it was UGA grad weekend and everything was booked. All the hotels overcharge SEVERLY for this weekend. Friends stayed down the street for $400 a night. This placed charged $325 per night. For a 2 star hotel, that is just rediculous.

Our two night stay was as expected, however i must say the beds, pillows etc were very comfortable and breakfast provided a good assortment of options and was fresh. We tried the indoor and had no issues. I will recommend it based on this experience.

Our biggest compliant with this place is breakfast ended at 9:30am? Why? What made it worse was the lady started cleaning up at 9:22am and had the whole kitchen cleared by 9:28am on her cart. Guests pay to not just sleep, but also for the amenities like breakfast.

Although we were just staying overnight, we would have loved things to work. The room was very dark, the alarm went off on the clock and could not fix it. Just unplugged it. TV Channels said they were there but were not. Guide scroll but won’t let you choose. The bed was so soft it was difficult getting out of the bed. You really should rotate the bed. Breakfast was the worst of any Choice hotels. Room was clean so that was a plus. We will not be staying at that one again.

This place was on the struggle bus. The Internet wasn’t available. The first day in the front desk seemed like they were unwilling or unable to help. The ice ran out constantly on both of the floors where the ice machine was available. And the breakfast was decent, but struggled with items being out or very cold like the sausage this morning. Overall, if you just need a place to rest your head, I guess it would be OK but we will likely not return.

Where to start? First room we checked in reeked of cigarette smoke and the chemicals used to hide the odor. Desk clerk didn’t believe us so he felt the need to check himself. Moved to another room that the toilet seat doesn’t fit the toilet. The heater worked off and on, but the kicker was the phone ringing at 8:00 every morning. (Even after telling the front desk) Then we asked for towels and washcloths and were told we would have to go back to our room to exchange them 1 for 1. Hmmm, we needed extra because the roll in shower leaks out and into the bathroom. Floors were soaked. Honestly, it was laughable how the whole stay centered around the inventory of towels. This place was filthy and the room in terrible shape. Broken fixtures in the bathroom, damage to walls, TV was broken, the whole place smelled like cigarette smoke. There was trash in the hallways, lobby and outside the front door. The pool was “out of order”. The gym wasn’t open. Breakfast wasn’t being served and rooms weren’t being cleaned due to a worker shortage. Never again.

We happen to live in Athens, but we were having renovations done to our house so we didn’t have a bathroom. This hotel was very friendly. The bed was very very comfortable to shower was excellent. The food in the morning was outrageous. I would definitely recommend it to anyone.

Proceed with caution if staying at this location. There was no front desk clerk when we arrived but there was a sign up stating, “assisting another guest”. Two “working” girls cruised the lobby and a dude was just hanging out in his truck in the parking lot smoking a joint.

Room: TV did not work. They gave me old batteries said try these. They did not work. Gave me more Batteries when I asked to switch room. We agreed to stay in room. We had to reprogram TV for it to work. WE had to do all this. Not Hotel staff. Rooms had black mold and dirt around shower stalls and walls. WTH. A good cleaning brush and cleaning PERSON could fix this. No soap on counter to use? WTH Staff: did NOT know anything. Stated it was his 2nd night at job. NO VENDING machines at all. Smoke detector went off halfway through the night beeping for new Batteries. NO Freaking cares given by staff. Batteries are an issue evidently. No sleep in this Ungodly Indian forsaken Motel. Give it America and sleep in your vehicles. Save money and time. Shower at a Truck stop.

I booked this hotel because it was reasonably priced and had an indoor pool. I swim several times a week and wanted to continue my workout routine while I was traveling. I had originally planned for an outdoor pool but when the weather predictions called for rain, I opted for an indoor pool. What the hotel shows/tells you is deceptive. This is nothing more than a kiddy pool, 3 feet at its deepest, very small and made smaller by the bench that runs around the entire pool. I could not swim without hitting my toes on the bottom of the pool, and that was only about 6 strokes, diagonally. I thought I might try water walking but the water is too shallow to provide much resistance and the pool so small that I could walk an entire lap in 25 or 26 steps! Worse yet, the pool was ugly and the peeling paint made it appear poorly maintained.
