Franchement jai jamais vu un service comme ca Je suis sur mon sejour 8 jours jai fait 5 jours je suis partie 2 jours au canada et 1 journnee avant j'ai dormir a laeroport Tres sale , accueil désagréable, les chambres sale Je vous deconseil car la personne de l'accueil cette un monsieur je pense origine inde pu pakistan il sélectionné avec qui va etre aimables

CAFARDS DANS LA CHAMBRE, Literie immonde et très vieille… l’agent d’accueil est exécrable. Lorsque nous lui demandons de changer de chambre monsieur nous prend la carte des mains, nous rend notre caution et nous dit qu’il nous rembourse immédiatement. En appelant hôtel.com, on nous dit qu’il refuse de nous rembourser car nous avons décidé nous meme de partir. MENTEUR ET SERVICE MALHONNÊTE. A FUIR.

In general, everything was bad. It’s a cheap place, but it’s really neglected and very dirty. The guy at the front desk named Nick was very rude to us. He would raise his voice very easily. Overall, it was a bad experience.

I traveled to several places between San Fran and San Jose. For the price and after experiencing staying In several places Id say this was a poor experience, witnessed people getting kicked out, and several others having strong arguments, all with the same guy at the front desk. From what I learned about this place, it’s a family business, PRIVATE PROPERTY and they reserve the right to refuse service to anyone at their discretion, In my experience and opinion it can put the traveler at a strict and though spot should you have a problem with the staff(owner). I had difficulty for failing to read all the rules and regulations, SPECIALLY the ones about them having an age limit of 30 years old and under, note for private rooms they said it was ok which I had a reservation for the day I arrived one night only and a private room for later that week from feb 2nd-8th, unfortunately my roommate got delayed and arrived after midnight, I checked In first at 3pm so I was already there, alerted front desk around 8pm, the response to the situation was that “she would have to find another place to sleep and come back the next day to check In at 3pm” that statement alone and the way it was said set the tone for how the conversation went, after trying to reason with the guy I just had to say “ok, thank you” and walk away, all of that for him to text me afterwards and now typing In a more professional manner that the case would be reviewed and she could stay. Nobody seemed happy there.

The rooms were spotlessly clean, the atmosphere was welcoming and calm, and the location is super convenient for getting around the city. What truly made the experience exceptional, though, was the front desk staff—especially Nick. From the moment I arrived, Nick was professional, kind, and incredibly helpful. He went above and beyond to make sure I felt comfortable, answered every question with patience, and handled everything smoothly and efficiently. You can tell he genuinely cares about guests and takes pride in his work. It’s rare to find someone who combines warm hospitality, clear communication, and true professionalism the way Nick does. He really sets the standard and makes the hostel feel like a safe, friendly home rather than just a place to sleep.
