Door hinge loose so had to pick door up to open and shut. Nobody ever came to fix but we managed, hotel was very busy. Bathtub faucet constant leak. Room was very clean, comfy beds, a/c was great, breakfast was great. Off the highway and parking lot felt safe. Pool was clean and clear. Staff friendly. Needs some maintenance TLC for sure.

The first floor of the hotel smelled very musty. Like it head flooded previously or something. I choose this hotel because it has a pool and a gym. However the gym machines didn't work and the hot tub didn't even have water in it.

Very comfortable bed and pillows. Nice pool, but had to ask for it to be unlocked each day. Good breakfast and coffee. Coffee in room did not get restocked even when requested. Quiet. Friendly staff, from reception to housekeepers. Clean. A few non-bothersome maintenance issues noted. Good value. The comfortable bed and pillows are what were the most important item to me! And the well functioning AC unit! A comfortable and good night’s sleep leads to a joyful day!

We selected this property and actually moved from another property to be able to use the pool in the Texas heat. The pool was beautiful, but the gate was locked. The front staff would not open the gate saying someone had jumped the fence the night before. As a pool owner I am very aware that pool chemicals disperse when added and it doesn't take 48 hour to shock and swim and the only person that would have suffered was the person who jumped the fence. There were several other patrons who were also upset about the pool being closed when it was clearly clean and ready for use. We will probably not be back based on false advertising. The breakfast was good however as was the cook and staff

Let me give you the pro and the cons. Pros-Sylvia the housekeeper was friendly and attentive. The guy whow worked the 3-11 shift was also friendly. Cons-got bit twice while sleeping and my arms swelled up. Was told nothing they could do about it. Did not find bed bugs though. Very disappointing that the pool was never open. Someone broke a tile in the pool. Breakfast was ok even though it was close to closing and was not restocked. I would have liked some kind of compensation for the swelling of my arms. Some kind of discount. Overall, I might stay again if the pool was open.

The staff was great. Cathy even loaned her personal air pump to us for a flat tire. The towels and beds were clean and comfortable. But, every time we wanted to watch TV we had to call the front desk & wait for her to come reset it. Every single surface throughout the hotel had dirty fingerprints: chairs, elevator doors, table tops & so on. Every floor needed vacuuming & mopping. The hot tub was taped over and closed and the pool water was dirty and green. The location is nice, isolated and quiet. The overall hotel needs a good, deep cleaning.

The check-in was easy. No complaints there. But the room and building smells terrible and is super dirty. I really think there was mold in the room we stayed in. It was so humid and hard to breath in there. Everything was dirty and i mean you could see the dirt. I think if you have kids stay clear from this hotel.

Staff was friendly, breakfast was below average, cleanliness was absolutely terrible. The floors and bathroom had not been cleaned prior to our check in. I specifically requested it to be clean the morning of night 2. It still had not been cleaned upon our return that night. Towels were replaced and trash gathered, but left on desk. Some other friends said their room was clean, so I’m assuming it’s hit or miss.

The hotel was clean, the room was very nice and comfortable. The staff was very pleasant and even talked to my toddler while we ate breakfast. Marie put a kids show on TV while we ate so he would have a good experience which I appreciated. The breakfast bar had good options and was delicious. Would come back if I ever drive through this town again!

The beds were so comfortable! The staff was nice enough. I didn't realize that our door did not latch and lock until the next morning as I went to get coffee and could not get it to lock. I contacted the staff and someone came and tugged and lifted the door until they got it to latch....I understand these things happen with buildings. I am more thankful than ever that we had used the indoor latch to lock the door during the night.

The room was clean and the bed was comfortable, but the toilet ran all night on our last night there and we couldn’t stop it despite many attempts. There’s no place to hang your washcloth in the shower and only the tiniest little shelf to put soap or shampoo on. The couch was kind of yucky looking. Scratches on the walls. It just needs some updating.

To begin with, first of all. There is no tub or any plexus glass to protect the shower, no door on it, no AIR VENTILATION . Toilet paper was not changed by the maid. Flickering light in the shower, cracked sink. The shower floor is anti- hygienic, who can assure that floor is not a focus of fungal (toenail fungus) spreading; prone to grow build up mold

Checked in about 9p. After getting settled tv volume inop. Desk clerk (very cooperative and attempting to help) offered a second room, same issue in fact hdmi cable wasn’t even plugged in, hanging loose. Third room same. Finally 4th room two floors down was ok. We moved in to that room. Owner should ck these items which are important to many guests…

This is the 2nd time we have stayed at a Sleep Inn, the first time was in Shreveport Louisiana a few years back, we had a really good experience. The Sleep Inn in Abilene was just so so. Yes the room was clean, the shower was huge and good water pressure. The bed was very lumpy and not that comfortable, the toilet didn’t flush 1/2 the time, you would have to wait for it to fill up and hope it would flush when you pushed the handle down after it finished filling up. They advertise WiFi and it never did work and the lady at the front desk didn’t seem to really care, she said she called her manager, but didn’t know what to do. I told her to reboot the router, but she said that would screw everything up. There is no close restaurants you have to drive round trip 30 minutes to get something to eat ( of course not the hotel’s fault). Only 2 vending machines and not on the same floor drinks on 1 snacks on another. For some reason they have already closed the pool for the season. What!!! we are in Texas and it is only September here in Texas you can swim till the middle of October. Most likely I would choose another hotel the next time we need a room in Abilene.

Very hospitable and friendly staff. The entire location appears to be very clean and you can’t beat the price. Our one night stay was very pleasant and I highly recommend. Chris at the front desk went above and beyond to accommodate us. The housekeeping manager even knocked on our door the next morning to see if we needed anything prior to checking out.

Upon entering our rooms we noticed the sheets had stains and the comforters were also stained in multiple places. I asked the guy to refund our money, as we immediately left. I still have not heard from the manager.

When we arrived the desk clerk was not very friendly to me. It almost was like I interrupted his evening. The whole place smelled like smoke and especially our room. When I asked him about it he said that just what it is. I will NEVER be back to that place again

We booked the multi bed suite for our family of 6. When we arrived at 9:30 pm, we were told that there wasn't a room that would sleep all of us. I showed my reservation of 2 adults and 4 children, no luck. The lady at the counter gave us extra blankets so my children could sleep on the dirty ground. There was dried gum on the carpet. I reached out to expedia, who reached out to this hotel and nothing. I paid extra for a room that would sleep us comfortably and did not get that.

To begin with, check-in is at 2. We arrived at 3:00 behind two ladies who had watched the clerk 15 minutes earlier walk past them to take her break before checking them in. I went and found that employee outside to let her know she had six people waiting for her by then. At check-in, we were asked to wait another 15 minutes bc our room wasn't ready. In my room, the toilet kept running, and the shower did not function properly. The pool was the worst. It was filthy and in disrepair. My husband and I always want to use the pool, but would not even get in that one. I also kicked and bruised my foot on a pipe that stuck up about 2 inches right beside the pool.

In my room, the toilet kept running, and the shower did not function properly. The pool was the worst. It was filthy and in disrepair. My husband and I always want to use the pool, but would not even get in that one. I also kicked and bruised my foot on a pipe that stuck up about 2 inches right beside the pool.

Buyer beware. Unethical business practices. I booked this stay in advance and was unable to stay. No person was in the Lobby to sign me in/give a key. No worker present on the entire premises. Whoever was tasked with manning the desk on 1/27/2023 needs to be fired. I walked up and down the halls screaming for 35 minutes trying to get service. I called all of the numbers associated with sleep inn multiple times—no answer. Now they are refusing to refund both nights. I will be making a formal complaint to the BBB. Completely unethical business. I had to stay at a different hotel and my children didn’t get to sleep until well after ten at night. I am mad. They will see my one finger solute on the security camera.

This was a great place to stay. It was right off I-20, which was extremely convenient. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the breakfast was good. Parking was easy, even though I was pulling a trailer. I’d definitely stay here again!

The room was nicely updated and comfortable. The breakfast was good. And parking was easy, even with the trailer I was towing. It’s right off the highway—very convenient. My go-to place when I’m traveling through Abilene.

Our stay was good, it was one of the only hotels with availability because of District track meet and thankfully it was about 1 mile away from the venue, less crowded and employees always greeted us.

The staff were super friendly, however, the room was not the cleanest and the hotel overall was dated and felt sticky. The beds and linens were clean and comfy, so we slept. The air conditioning unit kept the room cool which added to the comfort. The tub and shower area were also clean. However, we found a leftover sundae in the freezer of our mini fridge, and when wiping down the side of the fridge with clorox wipes, there was a not so pretty yellow hue reminiscent of turmeric, picked up by the wipe. I also wiped down the bathroom door and all door handles, which were also pretty dirty. Our TV remote was missing the back panel for the batteries, but it still worked. I would not recommend walking on the floors without shoes as the carpet has been there a while. The breakfast area was average and included make your own waffles, biscuits and gravy, bagels/toast (missing tongs for grabbing), cereal, and yogurt. Water, juice, and coffee were available for drink options. The grounds outside the hotel were full of trash in some areas and a TON of beer cans out by one paticular corner of the lot. Overall we had a positive experience, we slept, showered, and grabbed a cup of coffee on our way out, as we only stayed one night. We came on a very busy week, so perhaps housekeeping just missed a few things.

Front desk was nice, friendly and ìnformative on both check-ìn and out. Bed was very comfortable. There was only one bar of hand soap provided for personal hygiene so make sure you have your own. The cleaning person hadn't vacuumed or emptied my trash upon arrival and I had to turn on the water to the toilet to flush it. Breakfast was great!

The breakfast was very good but not open late enough. Advertised an on premises restaurant but there isn't one. Cleaning was very subpar and there weren't enough towels. Several things were broken, phones & exterior door locks etc., and shampoo and conditioner dispensers were empty and not refilled.

Not very clean or pleasing to the eye. Breakfast was a disaster. Food was gross, nothing was being filled or wiped down. The coffee maker in the room did not work either.

The hotel was clean, the room was very nice and comfortable. The staff was very pleasant and even talked to my toddler while we ate breakfast. Marie put a kids show on TV while we ate so he would have a good experience which I appreciated. The breakfast bar had good options and was delicious. Would come back if I ever drive through this town again!

This place has some construction work happening. They have some kind of air purifier in the halls and it is loud. It ran all night. The hotel also smells funny. The smell is everywhere.

The hotel recently had a fire and they were working on the entire 2nd floor. The TV remote in my room did not work. I didn't even bother asking the front desk person about it. I asked.about a bottled water and was told it was on the second floor. It was actually just a soda machine with no water and only took cash. Given the data center being built in Abilene, they are charging what they can get away with which was $166 for one night.

I would defintitely recommend staying at this hotel if you're visiting Abilene. It is located off of the highway and has a fantastic Indian Restaraunt near it. The morning breakfast was more than cereal and bagels- scrambled eggs, sausage, potatoes! Yogurt, toast, waffles, honey buns, fruit, 4 different kinds of juices, coffee, tea-along with the cereal and bagels. The room was nice and cold upon arrival and clean. I especially liked the unique shower- it was stone and a curved walk in- so there is privacy if someone is needing to use the toilet or sink. The morning of check out, housekeeping arrived around 9am to clean the room- they were accidentally notified we had checked out. The staff was beyond kind. At check-in it was a woman with short brown and blue hair and she had a wonderful personality. I went downstairs around 10pm to take a video call from my daughter and the staff was present and asked if everything was okay. At checkout, staff was present, genuinely happy, and wished us safe travels.

It was advertised that they were pet friendly on Hotels.com. When we showed up, they said that was no longer valid. I showed them the Google results which also said pet friendly. They said they should probably work on that. Non-responsive non-sensitive to the dilemma they put us in. I would never recommend this hotel because who knows what other things are incorrect whether they're offering.
