Hilton Garden Inn Jackson Downtown

My stay was accommodating. The staff was helpful, the rooms were clean and the beds were comfortable. Valet parking was too expensive!

I only ate in your dining area one evening with members of my recent group. BUT, I did enjoy the set-up for the coffee kiosk.

The only good thing regarding our stay was security walked us from the parking lot to the hotel’s doors. They gave us a handicapped room ( in which I did not reserve or asked for). The pool was supposedly closed off because the pumps were messed up. The middle elevator got stuck on the 7th floor. No parking space….This was the worse Hilton hotel that I’ve EVER stayed in…. Needless to say, I will not stay at this hotel again.

It’s a neat old historical hotel in desperate need of some love.

We stayed for a weekend. Upon arrival, we got checked in. Got to our room, the key wouldn't work. Husband took the key to the front desk (we stayed and waited in the hallway with our luggage). Front desk person told him to give him a min to check others in. Husband told him to just come up when he was done. He didn't want to leave us alone in the hallway (me and 2 children). We waited about 10 min. Husband had to go back down to get him. He was sitting on the counter top on his phone. He came up with a drill. Did some drilling on the card entry and we eventually got in. We had to ask for more towels. There was no soap in the bathroom or trash can. The tub had hair in it. There was a red stain on the floor. A set of blinds didn't work. After we left, noticed a larger than expected charge to my card for parking. We were charged extra for an "oversized vehicle" of which we weren't told. Overall, this hotel needs some serious updates. We won't be staying at this location again.
