My husband was staying there because he came in from out of state to help restore power. He had booked a full week but due to things out of his control his company was released from storm and sent back to CT on Wednesday of that week. I called and tried to explain to the hotel and was told I booked 3rd party call hotels.com which I did they said I had to talk to the hotel because it was a comfort hotel. I had to call Comfort inn corporate who 3 way called the hotel and the lady who answered was rude and nasty yelling at me for not having my husband give a 24 hour notice. I explained he had no way to do that and that he was out there fixing power lines and she said well we’ve had power! She told me she was only going to refund me Thursday night which I’m still waiting for!

The bed was very comfortable, room was pretty clean. The sink was slow to drain. Overall slept just fine.

On Tuesday, Drove 10 hours out of an 18 hour trip and arrived to the hotel to find it out of power. I am not mad at this in itself, as acts of god do happen. That being said, they should have some sort of generator to manage at least the front desk to perform admin tasks. The front desk attendant was not helpful, just said that powers out, can’t confirm your reservation, you can’t stay. No brochures or numbers for other nearby hotels, no suggestions of places to look. I had poor connection for my phone so this would have helped a lot, as it was slow looking around. He said to call the reservation site to ask for the refund. I did. They said the couldn’t get ahold of the hotel (powers out so that’s obvious) but that they were notified via email and would respond. It is now Saturday. I have received in email saying the hotel did not grant my refund, when I was told I was not even allowed to stay had I wanted. Ridiculous.. Maybe their power is still out because I can’t reach their phone. They should at least have things in place to handle the issues of people wanting money back. Will never recommend this company to anyone.

The hotel had weird smell and the food made me my kids sick and they didn’t clean our rooms and we had to ask for towels and the tub was clogged up and no one ever answered the front desk phone but overall it could have been better.
