Loved staying here! The best parts were the private beach, the free beach chairs/umbrella everyday, the body boards and extra lounge chairs, and the area was so quiet, not at all crowded like high rise condo beaches. Bed was very comfy and the porch was easy access to the beach. We will definitely stay here again.

This location is one of our favorites. However this is the first time that beach chairs weren’t included in our rental. We were surprised by that as previous units including this one last year included chairs. However this unit was very clean and nice. Can’t beat the location

There were a few minor issues. The curtain over couch was inoperable due to a broken bracket, the fridge kept leaking over the top shelf and the tub drain stopper was broke. We enjoyed everything else so much that we overlooked those minor things. If it had a washer/dryer, we would definitely rent again.

This location was so convenient for us! Being on the first floor with a baby is very nice, since you can simply walk out and be on your way to the boardwalk. The patio was nice to enjoy and the space has pretty much all that you need. The one big downside is that there aren't laundry machines in the actual unit, but there are public ones available in the condo building (but paid). Besides that, the neighborhood is quiet and a huge perk was having free beach chairs and an umbrella. Great spot and we'd consider coming again!

This is our fourth time to stay at Huntington by the Sea and we love it! The beach service is wonderful! The pool is nice! There is plenty of room for my family of 5 in the condo. We had a fabulous time and will definitely be back!

We loved this one-bedroom condo! It was perfect for my husband and me. The location was wonderful! The beach is beautiful! We really enjoyed the daily beach chair and umbrella set up. Condo has its own private entrance and is literally steps to the beach! Super close to the grocery store and restaurants. We took a short walk on the beach to the Surf Hut for dinner one night and during the day to get beverages. Overall, it was a wonderful stay, and we would definitely stay again! Thank you, Scenic Stays, for a great week!

One bedroom unit on ground floor made it easy to get back and forth to beach and pool. Beach was clean and less crowded than other beaches in area. Having chairs come with the stay helped make it more enjoyable with kids, less to carry back and forth! Walking distance to Surf Up for snow cones or dinner was a plus!

When we got there, the room initially smelled ok, but it was just surfaced cleaned. My daughter’s feet were black within minutes. The toilet stunk. We had a few roaches. The oven handle broke while we were there. The shower curtain had pink/black mold. Scenic Stays was fairly responsive. However, housekeeping was supposed to come back to clean, and they only changed the shower curtain. Would not stay again.

Great location and easy access being a corner unit. Made going back and forth from the beach so nice! It was also very clean and property managers were quick to respond when we had questions. Would definitely come back again!

Amazing view, very nicely decorated and equipped. The condo and entire building was very clean. Location to restraunts, shopping, activities very close. Absolutely loved our stay!

We will be back. Perfect location. The view is spectacular! Your cleaning crew needs to mop and scrub the bathtub. Looks like they're just wiping things down and not taking the time to really clean especially since the guest are paying for cleaning fees. Just couple of cosmetic. The front door needs painted and the baseboards inside. Need another mirror. Maybe a full length on back of bedroom door or one on other side of bedroom tv. Just remove one of the pictures there. It was an awesome visit and we will back. Highly recommend 🥰

Mildew on shower curtain and wall in the bathroom. Only one mirror in the whole condo. It needs some updating on appliances. The frig smelled terrible. We bought baking soda and put in it. There was a plastic mattress cover on the mattress that would sweat you to death. It sounded and felt like sleeping on a plastic bag. Porch is never cleaned off. We had to sweep it off to keep from tracking sand in all day. The pots and pans were terrible I don’t understand the cleaning fee they charge because you have to clean before you leave.

Perfect size for our small family of 3. Very clean and had everything we needed. Loved the location and right in the beach access. Thought there should be more communication about the entrance being on the side of the building and separate from the rest of them.

Location is fantastic! You are literally 180 steps to your beach chairs!! Cute and quaint condo that’s perfect for two. Minor complaints include, the floors need mopped badly!! Our feet were black after just a few minutes of walking barefoot around the condo. The plastic mattress over, I understand is necessary to protect the mattress but there has to be a better way!!! We nicknamed the bed “the diaper bed” because every time you moved it sounded like you were sleeping on a diaper. The other minor things, some of the blinds were broke, stains on the couch and the dining room chair covers. Other than those minor things, we loved our stay.

Location is the best! Beaches are incredible. Suggest that the kitchen appliances are updated. We found that to be the only drawback. Ice maker not functional, back right burner did not work, and the burners were uneven and causing difficulty cooking. Also there were no barstools at the kitchen bar.

Located on Miramar Beach, the condo was very clean and as described. It was a first-floor unit right on the beach with a small patio. The bed was very comfortable. The texts with the lockbox number were great and the check out information was helpful. We arrived a couple of hours early and were allowed to check in early. An added bonus were the umbrellas and beach chairs that were put out every day. We hadn't expected this. The man who did this every morning, Jessie, was very nice. We gave him a tip on our last day. We were not sure what the protocol is for that. Would definitely go back.

We loved the unit. Exactly like the photos. Beach chairs were included with the unit. Doors to bedrooms were a bit sticky. Screens in master would rattle in the wind, but easily fixed with a paper towel. We really enjoyed ourselves in this recently renovated unit.

Overall, great stay! The location is everything. The beach is right out your back door. Condo is clean. Only thing that could make it a 10/10, the shower needs to be redone and the couch, albeit comfy, has noticeable stains.

This property location was amazing. We have stayed at this property before, not this room but the property. We did NOT like the bed and the feeling we were sleeping on plastic. Every time you move it makes noise: I get trying to preserve the mattress but this is a bit much. We will NOT book this room again!! We have stayed at this property and rebooked rooms we loved. This was not one of those. Take the plastic off the bed and we would love to comeback.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I stayed at this property for almost two weeks, one working remotely and the other vacationing. It was marvelous in every way. I truely did not want to leave.The staff at Modern Beach was VERY comunicative, which I appreciated after having less than great experiences with other companies previously. The only negative was that the mattresses in the second bedroom were not good, according to my friend that stayed with me for a bit. Otherwise, I have absolutely no commplaints!

When we got there, the room initially smelled ok, but it was just surfaced cleaned. My daughter’s feet were black within minutes. The toilet stunk. We had a few roaches. The oven handle broke while we were there. The shower curtain had pink/black mold. Scenic Stays was fairly responsive. However, housekeeping was supposed to come back to clean, and they only changed the shower curtain. Would not stay again.

We were booked in Surfside, SC and drove out of Tropical Storm Debby. We booked on the fly and the service and location did not disappoint! We were able to save our 25th Anniversary vacation, with a beautiful view in a wholesome place that was amazing!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. The facility is immaculately clean. Located on a quiet area with quick access to restaurants and golf. The condo is one of the more spacious units we have stayed in. The place was VERY clean and comfortable. Communication with our liaison Donna wa excellent. She responded immediately even on the weekend. This is a perfect place for a beach getaway or a golf outing.

Our air was not working properly on the 2nd day- we called and later that day a man came up to have a look ( I assume maintenance) - he tried to clean the line, this was unsuccessful so we called again the next day - this time we got what I assume was a air condition man ( he looked about 20 but was very nice- he just said it was broken and he would let management know- although they brought a couple of fans - I thought maybe they could have offered a another room for the last night

Took a “Me Time” trip to Destin and couldn’t have asked for a better place! Communication about access was exceptional and everything was easy. Beach and pool close, can walk to restaurants and stores, Umbrella & Chairs set up bright & early every morning…Thanks Jesse! Will go back soon!

Loved staying here! The best parts were the private beach, the free beach chairs/umbrella everyday, the body boards and extra lounge chairs, and the area was so quiet, not at all crowded like high rise condo beaches. Bed was very comfy and the porch was easy access to the beach. We will definitely stay here again.

We loved this one-bedroom condo! It was perfect for my husband and me. The location was wonderful! The beach is beautiful! We really enjoyed the daily beach chair and umbrella set up. Condo has its own private entrance and is literally steps to the beach! Super close to the grocery store and restaurants. We took a short walk on the beach to the Surf Hut for dinner one night and during the day to get beverages. Overall, it was a wonderful stay, and we would definitely stay again! Thank you, Scenic Stays, for a great week!

Our family took our first trip to Destin for spring break and absolutely loved the condo as well the location. The room was everything we needed and clean. We loved waking up on the beach and listening to the waves all night. We could walk to restaurants and shopping. The deck was great and we had a fantastic time there!

The location was great. Close to shopping, restaurants, and coffee shops. The property was clean and comfortable. We had everything we needed and were very pleased with our accommodations. The complimentary beach chairs were a nice touch.

Positives-1. Loved the location! Gated!2. Condo was perfect size!3 . Provided beach chairs were wonderful addition! 4. Like our own private beach! 5. Parking was a plus! Always spots available including handicap which I am.Suggestions-1. Freezer door needs to be switched to the other side. It will not close with the fridge against the wall, resulting in all items to melt 2x during our stay. 2. Leak under master sink.3. Master bed and bedding-2 stars at best. Needs replaced. 4. For the price, washer and dryer should be in the unit.5. Sliding door from balcony to inside was very hard to open! Maybe new outdoor handles would help. Again disabled! Overall would recommend the building but the unit.

Great trip, easy to park, carts available to take luggage to room, code worked perfect and room temperature was perfect. Room was exactly what you need for a perfect trip. From the ease of getting to beach by stairs or elevator to the beach attendant who was very nice and tried to make everyone happy. Great job!

Great views, close to everything. We basically lived on the balcony. The beach service was awesome because it was a smaller building, so you always had "front row" on the beach.
