It was so beautiful and each cabin and cottage were well spaced and each of them were beautiful, the pool and clubhouse area were absolutely gorgeous and peaceful vibes around the entire resort! Definitely will be back in the future!

Room (manzanita 1b) was a bit run down and old, but made look nice. Bathroom was tiny, no shampoo. Pool and hot tub are very nice, although pool was not heated (yet). The room is very close to the pool, which was nice for us but might be a bit loud if it is busier.

First time staying in the mountains in a cottage! Did not dissapoint! The ease of check in all by text! very friendly and helpful! Cottage was great! Everything you need (kitchenette, utensils, dishes) charcoal grill in front no stove. Make sure to bring beverages and food to grill! Pool and recreation area was very nice! Clubhouse has games and tv! I will definitely be back!

Its not worth the price is all its just Cabin in the woods nothing special not even wifi so 250$ a night just for being in the woods is not justfied every other amenity like clubhouse or swimming pool had time restrictions which should nit be the case with a resort and pool table and ping pong had no equipments to play with just for show i guess

This resort is a very unique property like anything I have seen in this area before. I would call it "a piece of gold nugget in Mother lodge". We have tremendously enjoyed the pool area....sparkling clean, organic shaped beautiful pool setting, surrounded by trees and bleu sky. and lot of comfort. Above all that is a perfect place for a small weddings. Sooo romantic. Do not get mistaken as I did, it is a very large property in hilly forest area so from cottages to pool and other accommodation is a quite a walk :-)We do not typically come the same place two times, but this is one we will make an exception and we are making already plans to come back again.

We stayed in Juniper cabin 5, absolutely cute, clean had everything we needed!! The pool & club house was excellent & it was only 90 minutes from the Yosemite Gate!! We will certainly visit again!! 10/10!

Cabins are mixed in with trailers that are long term hook ups and not always lived in daily. Memory foam mattress, bring your own bar soap and shampoo, and all your own food and condiments.

This used to be so clean and our carpet was very old and stained. Just seems a renovation would be best to bring the cabin back up to meet the beauty of the grounds.

Impressive easy check in and check out, love it. The environment is so tranquil, refreshing, serene and calm with the state of Zen surrounding by pine trees. Lovely and clean interior with cute deco as presented in the pictures. Easy drive to Dodge Ridge ski resort and very convenient to restaurants and grocery stores. This will be our go to resort now if we are up there again.

Great value for money; no restriction (2 might min, 3 night min etc)! Nice canin overall, but small one! If you’re a big man, you will not fit into the bathroom!

This was such a great experience. The cottage I had was nice and comfortable. I love the privacy and being outside was great. I wish I could have stayed longer! Definitely a great place to stay if you like being outdoors.

Rustic cabin-like room. No interaction with office, check -in was done by text. Went to room, key was waiting. Same with check-out. Dropped the key on the shelf and left. Area was quiet. A bit confusing to get into town, had to rely on GPS, as there are no dining options at resort. Overall, had a nice, relaxing time!

Was a beautiful place and friendly staff. Just if your going for the fist time dont go at night it is easy to get lost. But thats the reason i chose to go to the lazy z to get away and relax

This resort is a very unique property like anything I have seen in this area before. I would call it "a piece of gold nugget in Mother lodge". We have tremendously enjoyed the pool area....sparkling clean, organic shaped beautiful pool setting, surrounded by trees and bleu sky. and lot of comfort. Above all that is a perfect place for a small weddings. Sooo romantic. Do not get mistaken as I did, it is a very large property in hilly forest area so from cottages to pool and other accommodation is a quite a walk :-)We do not typically come the same place two times, but this is one we will make an exception and we are making already plans to come back again.

Cute 7 cabin , air conditioned, clean, quiet, the pool and clubhouse were gorgeous, and private. I was there mid week. No internet in my cabin, but had a TV. Cabins are mixed in with trailers that are long term hook ups and not always lived in daily. Memory foam mattress, bring your own bar soap and shampoo, and all your own food and condiments.

Rustic cabin-like room. No interaction with office, check -in was done by text. Went to room, key was waiting. Same with check-out. Dropped the key on the shelf and left. Area was quiet. A bit confusing to get into town, had to rely on GPS, as there are no dining options at resort. Overall, had a nice, relaxing time!

First time staying in the mountains in a cottage! Did not dissapoint! The ease of check in all by text! very friendly and helpful! Cottage was great! Everything you need (kitchenette, utensils, dishes) charcoal grill in front no stove. Make sure to bring beverages and food to grill! Pool and recreation area was very nice! Clubhouse has games and tv! I will definitely be back!

We absolutely love this property! The cabins are beautiful, comfortable and so relaxing. We needed a break from stress and this definitely met our needs. The spa was wonderful- listening to the waterfalls and relaxing in the gorgeous scenery was magical. We played pool in the lodge and loved seeing all the unique antiques. A short drive away were delicious restaurants and shopping. Absolutely loved this beautiful mountain property. We will definitely be back!

Impressive easy check in and check out, love it. The environment is so tranquil, refreshing, serene and calm with the state of Zen surrounding by pine trees. Lovely and clean interior with cute deco as presented in the pictures. Easy drive to Dodge Ridge ski resort and very convenient to restaurants and grocery stores. This will be our go to resort now if we are up there again.

Winter time, between storms, the property seemed like all our own. The hot tub was majestic in its natural-like setting. The bbq grill and table in front of our cabin made dinner a breeze.

We loved the natural rock water features for swimming and the hot tub. So refreshing! Disappointed that there wasn’t a cooking element or pans or bowls besides the microwave. I thought kitchenette meant that but I looked the definition up and I’m wrong. The resort is built into the hills so don’t let the map of the complex fool you. It’s not really walkable unless you like hiking thru the forest up and down steep hills.

Beautiful setting with hiking trails, a beautiful pool and spa. Cozy and cute room. The bed was very comfortable. The room itself was clean. The bed sheet did have 2 hairs and an extra blanket in the room was not clean.

Room was very clean, a pair of einglasses and welcome card on the bed. Bathroom was clean however the door did not shut all the way, about a 2 to 4 inch gap. The staff including check in are no where to be found for us anyways. lol. Check in was a list of names and your cabin number, I’m like ok kinda cool more like a summer camp experience and the counselors are not to be found. But hey room was clean and they provide a number to call if any concerns or questions. So this is where this resort shines and screams “I am a Resort!” , the hot tub and pool with natural looking design. So awesome, I love pools and swimming or just relaxing in the water. So this was a lovely getaway. I would stay here again. Lots of things nearby or driving distance. Twain Harte mini golf for one, Pinecrest lake roughly 30 mins , Columbia State park , 30 mins the other way. And Sonora about 15 mins, and Black Oak Casino, and Chicken Ranch Casino are Both in driving distance.

Room was very quiet and comfortable. Pool area and hot tub area very relaxing like a little oasis. Getting to the hotel a little drive off of main CA 108 . Definitely a mountain hideaway hidden down winding roads. We arrived a little later than we wanted and had to scramble back to Sonora to get food cause most things closed at 8 pm. Definitely a neat little place but eat before you get there or get there early
