The hotel is wonderful - safe, clean, perfect service and in a beautiful, charming old building. A great luxury to stay in a hotel like this when you travel. It is located near the old restaurant area, close to the harbor front and the shopping area.

Hem temizlik hem de konfor açısından mükemmel bir oteldi. Konumu çok çok iyi. Çalışanlar çok yardımsever ve çok güleryüzlü. Sabah çok erken çıkacağımız için kahvaltı yapamayacaktık. Bize harika bir kahvaltı çantası hazırlamışlardı. Bir arkadaş tavsiyesi ile keşfettiğimiz bu oteli biz de herkese tavsiye ediyoruz.

This is a great hotel and I would recommend a stay here. The staff can’t do enough for you, the rooms are a great size and packed with really cool features, including multiple charging points, modern bathroom facilities and electronic do not disturb signs. A great hotel; in a great location.

Loved the location, right in the middle of action and everything. The staff was very helpful and friendly. the rooms were very nice and clean, just a little small to walk around but not bad. Breakfast was with plenty of options. We would most definetely stay there again.

Two small notes - firstly the rooms are small - we deliberately booked a Junior Suite, but it was not that big with a tiny bathroom, due to the building design. We stayed for one night, we chose a junior suite that was spacious and with a view of the city. As the hotel is in the city we did not have noise. We enjoyed our breakfast as there was a buffet and a la carte menu of eggs & pancakes.

24 hr break Allowed us time to take hop on off bus twice. Welcome reception. Rooms are boutique so little space for 22kg bags if part of a holiday. Marvellous breakfast buffet. Lively area with bars but windows and drapes shield the noise. Very convenient for waterfront stroll

Our room had a nice big balcony. Breakfast was wonderful. You can walk to many restaurants and sites from this hotel. The staff at this hotel is some of the most polite, professional and friendly employees that we have ever had at a hotel. We would definitely stay here again!

From the moment I checked in and throughout my stay, I received excellent service from every member of the staff. I hardly recommend the Excelsior, not only because of the great service, but because of its central location as well. It is close to everything, within walkable distance to all major destinations in Thessaloniki.

5 star gem in the city. We had air condition problem but they changed the room in 5 minutes. All staff is very helpfull. Very good and tasty breakfast. Close to walk everywhere, right in the center of all attractions

This is a lovely hotel in the middle of Thessaloniki with easy walking to all the central area. The staff are lovely and helpful - overall great stay. Two small notes - firstly the rooms are small - we deliberately booked a Junior Suite, but it was not that big with a tiny bathroom, due to the building design. Secondly, some service was variable, such as at breakfast, when some items we unavailable, or needed refreshing - but minor points

We have asked for the take away breakfast and it was our surprise to get in breakfast box boiled eggs, yogurt, butter and jam. Also some slices of bread and some fruits. We were wondering how we were supposed to eat it without any cutlery and how it we were supposed to eat boiled eggs in airport. I suggest providing cutlery if there is a food which can't be used without it and also boiled eggs is not a great option for early travellers to airport. I can't imagine how I would peel those eggs and how I would eat that without a salt and butter. I believe that hotels of such high standards can do better

We stayed for one night, we chose a junior suite that was spacious and with a view of the city. As the hotel is in the city we did not have noise. We enjoyed our breakfast as there was a buffet and a la carte menu of eggs & pancakes.

5 star gem in the city. We had air condition problem but they changed the room in 5 minutes. All staff is very helpfull. Very good and tasty breakfast. Close to walk everywhere, right in the center of all attractions

this was one of the loveliest hotels that we’ve ever stayed at. The breakfast alone is worth a visit. Every aspect of our stay was flawless.

Sat nav had a little issue finding it but if you’re not driving, everything else went super smoothly. The staff are professional, courteous and helpful. The location is excellent, with shops, bars and landmarks all within walking distance. The building is one road behind the sea, walking along the promenade takes a few minutes to get to. Bed is very comfortable, breakfast selection with an à la carte option was great too. We used their valet parking service which was a tremendous weight off our shoulders trying to navigate our big car in busy and barros Thessaloniki streets!

All the members of staff we encountered were very welcoming and went out of their way to be helpful. The beds were particularly comfortable. The hotel is very well situated.
