RES City Residence Hotel Budapest

Okay værelse, men der var ødelagt flise på badeværelset, og værelset var meget småt. Derudover kommer vi efter lukketid i receptionen, som og selvom vi havde anmeldt det, var der ikke lagt nøglekort frem som lovet. Dog var værelset klar, og vi fik hurtigt fat i nogen der kunne hjælpe

Questa struttura si trova in una traversa del viale Andrassy, che collega il centro di Pest a piazza degli eroi, percorso dalla metro M1 per cui molto accessibile e comodo per gli spostamenti durante il soggiorno. Io ho prenotato con il mio fidanzato una camera Doppia Superior. Siamo stati accolti alla reception senza una spiegazione sulla struttura, sulla stanza, sulle pulizie. Tutto scritto nei cartelli e sulla pagina di Expedia, ma accoglienza scadente, sebbene il check in sia stato rapido (con pagamento di una piccola tassa di soggiorno). In camera si accede solo tramite scale, e non siamo stati accompagnati (per i bagagli un hotel 3 stelle deve avere il servizio di trasporto e l’ascensore per accedere ai piani superiori). La camera non ha il telefono (altre requisito per un 3 stelle). La luce era fulminata: lo abbiamo fatto presente per 3 giorni, fino a che al4º giorno è stata riparata. Dalla doccia del bagno veniva un cattivo odore, l abbiamo fatto presente senza risultati. Nel bagno abbiamo trovato una boccetta di bagnoschiuma aperta lasciata da qualche cliente prima di noi, e un’altra chiusa (dimensioni di 10 ml forse meno). Poi avranno visto i nostri saponi personali e avranno ritenuto che non ci spettavano più. Un 3 stelle dovrebbe prevedere il cambio biancheria 2vv/settimana e asciugamani 3/settinana. Nulla è stato mai stato cambiato. Letto matrimoniale con due materassi singoli e due piumoni singoli. Decisamente non ci ritorneremmo. Hotel da 1 o 2 stelle.

My stay was excellent, the room was very comfortable and recently renovated. The staff was lovely, they were all very friendly and helpful. It's very close to the M1 and a short walk to the City Park and Heroes' square. No breakfast but there's a small kitchenette with a kettle and a microwave and a Lidl 50m away. There is also a free locker for luggage and you get a code for the door at check-in which is very convenient. I'd definitely stay here again!

Great location for all sorts of fascilities. Close to bus, supermarket, restaurants etc. Really quiet area and great, clean room with good bathroom. Perfect for one person travelling. The receptionist who checked me in was super lovely and helpful. One other guest was noisy on their phone in the courtyard late at night but that is not the hotel’s fault and inconsiderate people exist everywhere. Would definitely stay here again!! Really handy to just have a door code and let yourself in.

Rooms are very cozy, all recently renovated. Location is very convenient to reach the city center. I found a humble private parking called parkolo in the same street just 5 minutes walk, safe and cheap. Recommend both the hotel and parking lot. Personnel in the hotel was exceptionally friendly and helpful.

Clean, modern and close to everything. We stayed 3 nights and found everything great. Myself and my daughter did some wondering about at night and there were no issues, we didn’t feel unsafe at any point. The property is only accessible with a code, and the staff are helpful and friendly. Highly recommended.

Tenemos una queja importante. Nuestro vuelo llegaba a las 23 h y en ese horario ya no hay recepcionista para hacer el checking.Nos intentamos poner una semana antes tanto por el correo del hotel como por el asistente virtual en varias ocasiones. No tuvimos respuesta. Nos preocupó y el miércoles anterior a través de una llamada telefónica, nos informaron que era muy sencillo que cuando llegasémos picasemos al timbre la puerta se abriría y en recepción no dejarían la llave de la habitación. Llegamos picamos y la puerta no se abría. Después de intentarlo en repetidas ocasiones llamamos a un número de teléfono que indicaba y nos dieron un código, que es lo que nos tenían que haber dado desde un principio, entiendo. Me parece muy mal que el hotel no se ponga en contacto con los clientes cuando reciben mails y resuelvan más dudas, y cuando te den una respuesta sea la correcta. Ya que a nosotros nos ocasionó el trastorno de entrar en la calle casi una hora. Con lo que accedíamos a la habitación la madrugada del viernes 13, en lugar de la noche del día 12.

The AC worked well and WiFi was good. This was a no frills type of place but the room was nice and there was a mini fridge in the room. This place does NOT have an elevator, but conveniently located by trams and buses.

Ich fand diese Einrichtung echt gut für diesen Preis. Sauber und gepflegtes Zimmer. Alles reibungslos funktioniert. Ich kann mich nicht beschweren.

Chambre pas très grande mais bien agencée. Literie confortable, ménage fait tous les jours, serviettes de toilette changées tous les jours. Emplacement bien situé dans quartier résidentiel à 5 minutes à pied de la ligne 1 du metro. Chambre et communs propres. Un reproche : pas de volet, les rideaux occultant ne suffisent pas.

部屋は清潔感があり、毎日清掃とタオル交換もしてくれました。スタッフの皆さんもフレンドリーでした。近くにスーパー、地下鉄の駅もあり頑張ればドナウ川沿岸までも歩いて行けます。キラーイ通りのレストランやハンバーガーショップはおすすめです。

We stayed in this hotel for 4 nights from April 18-22nd. We had ordered a superior double room and when we arrived we received room nr 004 (?), immediately when we went in the smell of mold came to us. We opened the window to air out and went to the store (store is 2 min from the hotel). The smell was still there and we checked the bathroom and when we looked up into the ceiling could you see a lot of black mold in the ceiling. We contacted the reception and asked to change room since it could not be safe to stay in that air - we then received a new room (106) - this room was smaller than the first room, so not sure if we received a superior room. But it did not have the smell of mold so we were pleased. The hotel should upgrade the bathrooms or have a proper down cleaning - the new room also had mold in the bathroom / shower area, but not nearly as much as the first room. You just smelled it there in the bathroom. The cleaning for the rest was ok, they should clean the walls more as it was marks there also. Other than that the room was clean and they changed towels and made the bed every day. The reception staff was ok - I want to give a shout out for Sophie. She answered our emails before the stay and sent us information that was good to know. She also checked us out, and from the 3 different we met during our stay she was the most service minded of them all (just the little things like smiling, saying hi and wishing us a good day).

Room was clean and had food day light from ceiling. The shower door leaked towards sink area. Overall comfortable.

Room was terrible, bad smell from bathroom, no window, only on roof there was a dirty window that was left daylight to get in even if you need darkness to sleep in the morning. They gave me a room next to staff's room, noisy, no soundproof at all. I asked for room change, they advised hotel was full. Not recommended.

I love this hotel. It is right at the middle of the city and very accessible. It is surrounded by restaurants and convenient stores. Transportation is not an issue as well. The place looks newly renovated. My room is spacious and has a very nice bathroom. The bed is comfortable and I can feel relaxed when I am in my room. The staffs are nice and kind and helpful. They are very polite and are always smiling. I indeed have an excellent experience here.

I liked that the rooms had really high ceilings and spacious.

Very close to the subway station M1 and next to Andrassy Ave. Big room, helpful staff. We arrive at noon and as the room was ready, we could checked in early!

Udmærkede forhold og rigtig søde og hjælpsomme folk i receptionen. Området er roligt og der er nem afgang til offentlig transport, som jo er gratis for 65+.

My overall stay was exceptionally good! The location and utility of this property fulfill my needs. I am especially pleased with the professionalism and attentiveness of the RES employees. The people who the front desk are very straightforward but friendly . Janos, Lena and Luca were very kind. Housekeeping at RES is very efficient and they kept my room spotless. Yesterday. I had the opportunity to meet Levi thw manager and I found him engaiging and professional .He I took the time to inquire with me about my stay which I thought was very good. I plan to recommend this property to my business associates, friends and to make RES my hospitality choice on my next visit to Budapest. -Beian

Heroes Square and Vajdahunyad Castle was 20 minutes walk one way, the Jewish Quarter and the main areas of Pest such as St Stephen's Basilica 15/20mins the other. Plenty of cafes and restaurants nearby, plus Lidl a 30 second walk away for essentials. Would definitely stay there again!

Lovely room and location very central

The hotel clean and tidy & the staff were very helpful. It was ideally situated for all transport links we required in Budapest and also only a 12 min walk from a large selection of bars which we visited in the evenings.

Good location. A supermarket Lidl) is nearby and the Adrassy Ut is a 5 min. walk.

Hotel bom, atendendo bem as necessidades! Equipe atenciosa! Não possui café da manhã, porém é indicado um local muito próximo e excelente com preços ótimos. Budapeste é uma cidade espetacular.

This hotel was just perfect for my needs: affordable, close to the venue of our meeting, quiet and clean. There is a Lidl nearby for breakfast needs which was also convenient. Can recommend if you are looking for a nice place to stay.

Lo positivo: limpio; sin estar muy cerca, pero está bien ubicado y cerca de transporte público; recepcionista muy amable, con disponibilidad y brindando información y resolviendo dudas; y muy buena comunicación en inglés. Lo negativo: habitación un poco pequeña, pero cómoda; pocos lugares alrededor para comer/cenar.

I'm really glad we booked this hotel. It was close enough to the underground system and even closer to the bus lines. I like how close we were to a variety of restaurants and with Lidl on the corner and a refrigerator in the room it was easy to have snacks and breakfast available.

The hotel doesn't stand out like it does in their photographs. As you walk along the street it's difficult to spot, until you read the writing on the entrance. Our room was more like a small apartment, with a sleeping area, a kitchen/dining area and a bathroom. The beds are comfortable, but a couple of extra pillows would be good. The room was generally quiet but when the bins got emptied in the street outside at around 6am it wakened us (but that didn't happen every morning)! The toilet seat wasn't properly secured. The rooms were cleaned every day, and overall were kept very clean. The kitchen has a kettle, a sink and a cooking plate with utensils and a pan. The location is generally convenient for the city - a 25 minute casual walk to the ferris wheel, or the Puskás Stadium in the other direction. The Lidl store at the end of the street is well stocked with lots of cheap quality food, and as there's a small kitchen it's easy to self-cater breakfast. Overall I would recommend this as a good place to stay for the traveller on a budget.
