Moonlights Villas Heated Pool

Lovely villa. Pool great but steps are narrow and very slippy and there is no safety rail. Also no shallow end. Villa needed more dinner plates, a larger kettle and toaster and it would have been good to have a welcome pack with information on area. Was told 0.9km to village on the flat but it was further and also hilly. Great taxi service in the village and only 7 euros each way.

I’d like to start by saying we loved our stay. I booked 3 villas next to each other and enjoyed having all our friends and families close to us for those 3 nights. We were allowed to host our private dinners on the villa with a team of private chef and servers. The location is not easily walked to town especially with little kids and elderly with us but for me it was perfect- beautiful views of the ocean, greenery, hills, out in the middle of nowhere but can reach the shops in just 2-5 min drive. The pools were warm, rooms had air-cond. which we Australians need in the summer heat. The only little setback was the descriptions of the rooms. I allocated rooms to our guests based on the description given to me. My husband and I gave ourselves the queen bed on the ground floor because it was described to have unlimited views. Our view was of the driveway. However, if we walk couple steps into the living area, we do see unlimited views and of the ocean. The best room in the house is definitely the top floor, I gave that to a friend and his girl friend. They have the best views and also the whole top floor to themselves. Since it was our wedding vacation, of course I wished that was our room instead. There was also slight confusion with the payment system, we were supposed to pay in 3 instalments but didn’t get charged until after our stay. Having said that, the villas were absolutely stunning, clean, new, and for those that love hosting- you will not regret this.
