The Playce Hotel is quite underwhelming from the outside and the lobby is not as pictured in the advertisement on Hotels.com, however the room was very clean and the staff was helpful and friendly. We arrived before checkIn time and the staff made every effort to have a room ready as quickly as possible. It had many small conveniences, including a 24 hour free espresso machine, and a machine for free cold, room temperature, or carbonated water to refill water bottles. It is situated next door to a large grocery store where we purchased a variety of fresh pastries for breakfast each morning. We were welcome to eat these pastries at the bar tables while enjoying the free coffee. It is within walking distance from the Sacré Coeur Basilica in Montmartre and close to many restaurants. It is also less than two blocks from the nearest Metro station. We would definitely stay here again!

Für den Preis ist es sehr gut. Einige Dinge könnten aufgerüstet werden, wie der Aufzug, der laut knarrt und die Räume eng sind. Aber alles in allem ist es ein tolles Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis und ich habe keine wirklichen Beschwerden.

Very convenient location with 3 Metro stops close by, a market next door and restaurants within walking distance. The hotel room was actually quite big and the bathroom pretty big too. An elevator was a definite bonus. We didn't get a chance to try the bar but it looked like it was plentiful. Free water, coffee and hot chocolate was a nice touch

Nahe der Metro Haltestelle Chateau Rouge in Montmatrw gelegen. Hatten ein Doppelzimmer, das sehr klein aber mit dem nötigen ausgestattet war. Betten sehr bequem, Bad gut ausgestattet mit Föhn, Shampoo, Duschgel, Bodylotion. Schrank und Wasserkocher auch verfügbar. Wlan war gut. TV: nur frei deutsche Kanäle. Super: In der Lobby gibt es kostenlos Kaffee, Wasser, Süssigkeiten, Croissants. Direkt neben dem Hotel ein Supermarkt. Uns hat es hier sehr gut gefallen. Bis zur Seine/ Notre Dame sind wir ca 45 min gelaufen. Negativ: für 3 Nächte für 2 knapp 50 Euro Touristenabgabe bezahlt, da 4 Sterne Hotel, aber da kann das Hotel nichts für. Würden wiederkommen. :)

Gute Anbindungen, freundliches Personal. Zimmer hatte viel Schimmel an Wänden und Fenstern znd den Fahrstuhl hörte man ständig, was in der nacht störte.

The hotel is located in a popular area of Paris (Barbès) with plenty of cheap stores and many many nice restaurants appreciated by locals. It is a five minutes walk from the Sacré-Cœur. The hotel is located 100 meters away from the metro station Château Rouge (line 4) and makes it perfect to visit Paris. The hotel is clean, but sometimes, depending when, corridors may be dirty because of guests. This said, our room was super clean and quite. The bed was confortable. What blew me away was the level of service: Spectacular! Super friendly and accommodating! I was celebrating my birthday in Paris and came with a huge cake which they kept for me in their fridge (they had to make room for it). They also have a nice bar/pub where locals go, and at least for us (thru Hotels.com), we had a couple of free beers! Very happy with this stay and the friendly staff!

Pleasant hotel, staff members are very helpful. Room was clean and comfortable. Only hiccup was the elevator being out of service and we were on the 5th floor! The staff helped with our luggage which we greatly appreciated. It was thankfully fixed the next day. Breakfast was good.

Je voudrais juste donné de petite de taille, par à pour le ménage, c’est ne pas top, j’étais pour trois jours et les deux journée, en mon absence après mon retours je trouve la chambre au sol salle, lit range poubelle propre mais le drap du lit pas remplacé, serviette que on a utilisé tous au même endroit, pas remplacé, mais cette agréable, voici mon point de vu.

Found multiple hairs in our room and it’s not in the safest neighborhood. It is very close to public transportation which is all that mattered to us. The room itself was nice with friendly staff and a nice breakfast.

Good hotel with nice staff. The whole hotel was clean and the beds were comfortable. Unfortunately, you can hear everything that's happening outside your room - lots of doors banging and people talking. The location is good as you can get everywhere easily but the street the hotel is on feels a little dodgy.

The staff were friendly and welcoming, very helpful when we checked in and out and very accommodating to the children in our family. There were lots of lovely small touches like the water bottles and tea/ coffees in the reception area. We had a family room which was a lovely big size, especially for Paris, and the bathroom was clean and very comfortable to use. The beds were comfortable and clean and we all slept well. There are plenty of bakeries and shops close by for food and snacks, and its only a fifteen minute walk to Montmartre and the Sacre Coeur etc. With the Chateau Rouge metro stop five mins from the hotel and the Gard du Nord only two stops away from Chateau Rouge it was a great base to explore Paris from as a family.

La chambre confortable mais le fait d’être côté rue a été très bruyant pendant la nuit de plus étant à côté de l’enseigne lumineuse j’ai eu l’impression d’avoir dormi en journée La literie pourrait être mieux Par contre le petit déjeuner était super. De très bons produits et de qualités

Clean room.The staff is very nice. Don't expect a North American hotel. Small room. No fridge. Even though I had a "do not disturb" and "eco" cards on the door, one of the days my room was still tidied up. There was a weird ventilation noise every few minutes, like moving heavy furniture. No soundproofing. You hear everyone up and down the stairs, flushing toilets, talking and coughing in the next room and banging the doors.People getting ready - you wake up with them because you hear everything.

Didn’t have the breakfast. Receptionist was lovely but the hotel was in serious need to upgrading. Our mattress was broken, broken tile in the bathroom, shower head was old. The staff were really nice but some money needs to be spent on doing it up. The walls are also paper thin so it was quite hard to sleep even though I’m a heavy sleeper. The area around the hotel is also not the best but I know this is nothing to do with the hotel

The best part about this property is the location. A 15 min walk from Gare Du Nord or a less than 5 min walk from 2 different metro line stations. And plenty of buses at thr doorstep. Apart from that, the room was small and the bathroom as well. While everything was clean and had no issues, I was expecting a decently spaced room and bathroom but it was not to be. We had moat amenities but didn't have an iron and a board to press clothes. The surrounding area of the hotel was not very clean and had some dimly lit areas. We didn't particularly feel unsafe at any point though. Breakfast was decent. They had free water and some snacks and coffee available which was nice. Overall a decent stay although I'm not sure I'd stay here again. But again, great location.

Le personnel est tres sympatique, la chambre etait propre la salle de bain aussi. Parcontre je suis desole mais il y a un bruit tout le temps je ne sais pas si cest l'ascenseur ou autre chose mais ça ma reveillé plusieurs fois dans la nuit sans compte le matin surement des gens qui venaient nettoyer dans le couloir qui parlaient comme si ils etaient seuls alors que les couloirs sont tous petits... Si vous voulez bien dormir et vous reveiller tard ça ne sera pas la bas.

We arrived a few hours before check in and we were graciously accommodated and allowed to access our room early. The room was clean and bright and sound proof which was amazing as we were on a busy street. There was free coffee and tea in our rooms as well as at reception with complimentary still and sparkling water available and biscuits to enjoy all day everyday. The staff were super lovely and super helpful especially Louise who went above and beyond to assist. The location was not far from the metro which allowed for easy access to get around the city and to many tourist attractions. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it. Thank you to all the staff for a great stay in Paris!

Parfait ... sauf si vous souhaitez sortir le soir ! 2 soirs de suite à attendre pratiquement 30 minutes dehors que la personne de nuit se réveille pour nous ouvrir !!!! Dommage car l'hôtel est plutôt correct.

L’hôtel en lui-même est très correct. Ce que je n’ai pas apprécié, c’est que le monsieur à l’accueil, malgré toute sa loquacité, me refuse à l’entrée le soir sous prétexte que l’hôtel était plein. Il était loin d’être plein puisque j’ai pu ensuite réserver en ligne pour le soir même. Je pense que votre employé n’avait simplement pas envie de s’embêter. Je voyage pour les affaires, je ne ressemble pas à un vagabond…

Pleasant hotel, staff members are very helpful. Room was clean and comfortable. Only hiccup was the elevator being out of service and we were on the 5th floor! The staff helped with our luggage which we greatly appreciated. It was thankfully fixed the next day. Breakfast was good.

Very convenient location with 3 Metro stops close by, a market next door and restaurants within walking distance. The hotel room was actually quite big and the bathroom pretty big too. An elevator was a definite bonus. We didn't get a chance to try the bar but it looked like it was plentiful. Free water, coffee and hot chocolate was a nice touch

Nahe der Metro Haltestelle Chateau Rouge in Montmatrw gelegen. Hatten ein Doppelzimmer, das sehr klein aber mit dem nötigen ausgestattet war. Betten sehr bequem, Bad gut ausgestattet mit Föhn, Shampoo, Duschgel, Bodylotion. Schrank und Wasserkocher auch verfügbar. Wlan war gut. TV: nur frei deutsche Kanäle. Super: In der Lobby gibt es kostenlos Kaffee, Wasser, Süssigkeiten, Croissants. Direkt neben dem Hotel ein Supermarkt. Uns hat es hier sehr gut gefallen. Bis zur Seine/ Notre Dame sind wir ca 45 min gelaufen. Negativ: für 3 Nächte für 2 knapp 50 Euro Touristenabgabe bezahlt, da 4 Sterne Hotel, aber da kann das Hotel nichts für. Würden wiederkommen. :)

Very nice stuff super friendly and reliable, the room are clean. It’s just the outside I don’t feel comfortable on the neighborhood . The good thing of the area or the hotel is very close the metros, kuddos to that.

The best part about this property is the location. A 15 min walk from Gare Du Nord or a less than 5 min walk from 2 different metro line stations. And plenty of buses at thr doorstep. Apart from that, the room was small and the bathroom as well. While everything was clean and had no issues, I was expecting a decently spaced room and bathroom but it was not to be. We had moat amenities but didn't have an iron and a board to press clothes. The surrounding area of the hotel was not very clean and had some dimly lit areas. We didn't particularly feel unsafe at any point though. Breakfast was decent. They had free water and some snacks and coffee available which was nice. Overall a decent stay although I'm not sure I'd stay here again. But again, great location.

Le personnel est vraiment attentionné, agréable et très serviable. La variété au petit-déjeuner est impressionnante. Les lits sont très confortables, la chambre bien sombre pour dormir et très tranquille. À 15 minutes à pied de Montmartre, c’est un avantage pour un dîner dans un endroit agréable à proximité. Le seul bémol de cet hôtel n’est pas l’hôtel en soi, c’est le quartier. Nous étions craintifs le soir en revenant à pied car il y a beaucoup de groupuscules de gens qui flânent sur les trottoirs. Bien qu’il ne soit rien arrivé, la présence de ces gens qui semblent mêlés à des activités louches est stressante, surtout en raison de notre statut de touriste éloquent.

La chambre confortable mais le fait d’être côté rue a été très bruyant pendant la nuit de plus étant à côté de l’enseigne lumineuse j’ai eu l’impression d’avoir dormi en journée La literie pourrait être mieux Par contre le petit déjeuner était super. De très bons produits et de qualités

Hôtel exceeded our expectations. Comfortable beds & pillows. Decent sized rooms. Bathrooms were great. Even had kettle in rooms! Breakfast was really good, loads to choose from. Only a short walk to the metro. Busy area, visited several friendly cafés and an excellent restaurant. Overall I would highly recommend.

Erbin donne toutes les explications utiles et les bons resto . Le petit déjeuner de Jolie est une reference avec des produits de qualité. A conseiller bon prix et bon couscous a la Halte a 10 mn a pieds.

Las habitaciones están muy bonitas, la cama y ropa de cama espectaculares y súper limpio además el todo el personal súper amable y servicial! Pero la zona es espantosa y peligrosa!

I enjoyed my stay in Paris for the 3 nights at the hostel, even though the surroundings of the hotel feel shocking and scary at first as I got there, with a lot of migrants or poor people at the metro stations. The room I'd booked was with it's own toilet and shower which was super helpful. I liked that the beds have a privacy curtain which also reduces the noise from other snorers and traffic outside. The doors all had card locking system and multi-point charging and reading lamps within each bed compartment. Toilet, sink, bed and shower were all clean. The overhead lights were placed in good location. I had a few issues. The temperatures for the air-conditioning in the room was show 23 degrees when it should have been kept at 22 degrees. The shower head in the shower was not in good condition and needs to be replaced. The entrance needs some repair as the floor is broken. The painters didn't put any notice and ended up getting some paint on my hands before breakfast. It bathroom sink could be replaced as it has a crack but still works. I would prefer a towel hanging bar in my bed compartment as don't know of someone else might have used my towel.
