The property is clean and the location is excellent. It is very near the coach station and to dining spots. What I really did not like about this hotel is the noise at night as there is a bar downstairs and the music is really really loud that it kept us awake until 6 am! The wifi is too weak and we were not able to use it. The entrance of the hotel is not separate from the entrance to the bar until you get your own room keys for which you will have access to a different hotel door entrance.

Basic but a perfectly decent and welcoming place to stay for a night or two. Very clean. Adorable dog. Couldn't be more convenient for the gay delights of Canal Street. Deposit of £20 per key seems a bit unnecessary and old fashioned. A good experience and would recommend.

Stayed 1 night

This was the worst night I ever spent in a hotel in my life. Firstly - the noise. I knew I was staying in a hotel with a bar downstairs and going on a night out ourselves, it was not unreasonable to expect noise until 2:00, maybe 3:00 but oh no, this was like trying to sleep on the floor of a dancefloor until it closed at 6:00!!! And even then that wasn't the end. Another hour of people dispersing and listening to their drunk conversations followed. Throughout the night I was constantly having to listen to other disrespectful guests having conversations outside my door, it was like being in some grotty hostel. I kept going to the door and telling them how inconsiderate they were. And it wasn't just the guests who had no consideration. I even heard conversations between staff in the hallway during the night, even they can't be bothered to have any consideration whatsoever for their customers. And these conversations on top of feeling like I'm in the nightclub while I'm trying to sleep. Let's look at other aspects of the hotel. Check in - We arrived at the venue which is very confusing and the rude woman at the bar shouted for us to go upstairs for the hotel. We roamed the corridors and eventually found the tucked away reception room. We got the room key and asked for 2 extra pillows. The pillows never materialised. 2 hours later I went to reception again to ask for pillows, no-one there. I tried again an hour or so later, no-one there. There is a phone numb
