We had a wonderful family stay-over of one night! Arrived early and they let us drop bags. Walked all over charming downtown Nantucket and returned an hour or so before checkin. They allowed us to checkin early and lit the gas fireplace on the porch. It was dreamlike. Wonderful service and very nice breakfast. Thank you!

Appreciated the rise to the ferry. The lobby was nice, fireplace, games. Lived the canned water. Did not need towels changed daily. Recycling was not well demarcated. Great location.

The inn was beautiful, clean, & well kept. Breakfast included freshly baked pastries that were amazing with delicious coffee. Snacks & beverages were available 24/7. Staff was attentive when needed. Location was great, easy 2-3 minute walk into town. Highly recommend.

Overall: the stay was ok but it could easily be improved to be a great experience if the management tried. Good: room was clean upon arrival. Property is nice looking and there is decent outdoor seating. The place is very close to the steamship terminal and general location to the centre is excellent. Breakfast at the parent property is very close by and whilst the breakfast is limited in options, there is enough for it to work. No throw away mini toiletries Not so good: the living area with small items was poorly stocked (water cans ran out, there were no cups for coffee, snack biscuits were gone after the first day). The bins were not emptied in the communal areas for days meaning they became overflowing. Room cleaning was limited to refitting the same sheets and replacing towels. Fridge in the room was extremely noisy. Toiletries were not refilled in the room. There is construction going on right behind the property so it can get noisy from 8am. Internet was intermittent

The property is conveniently located, only a couple blocks from shopping, the Whaling Museum and restaurants. The fire pit offered a relaxing place to meet fellow guests. Delicious breakfast! The availability of coffee and other beverages and snacks all day long was greatly appreciated. Comfortable and handsome room. Super friendly and accommodating staff.

Loved the Chapman House and it’s partner property The Regatta where you go for breakfast. Great that they provide towels, umbrellas and chairs for the beach. Fantastic location walkable to Nantucket restaurants, shops, Jetties Beach and the shuttle to Madaket.

A nice hotel but don’t stay in the basement room. Our toilet backed up and the shower would not drain. Our “patio” was super tiny, not even big enough for a chair. The breakfast was good and the common areas were lovely.

We had a lovely stay. The staff were friendly and the inn was very clean and well maintained. Every need was met and even some we didn’t know we needed like the warm chocolate chip cookies every afternoon. The breakfast had a good variety and everything was fresh and delicious. Would definitely recommend and we plan to return.

The Chapman House was a fantastic stay. Clean and comfortable. However, the stay was very loud. Our room was right near the main door — additionally, there is a lot of construction going on right next door as they’re rebuilding an Inn that burnt down.

Very happy with our stay and would return. The bathroom is new with a great walk in shower. Heating and AC great. Bathroom needs shelving over water tank as there is almost no shelving. Very few electrical outlets, one not working at all! Continental breakfast was excellent, but would like a table to eat. Staff went out of their way to assist us

Bathrooms were newly renovated and fantastic! Rooms were comfortable & modern. Quick walk to town, and lovely surrounding area. I would definitely recommend.

Our stay at The Regatta House was excellent. The property is top notch and all the employees were awesome. They all seemed to thoroughly love their job and were so helpful! The room was very clean and decorated elegantly; even the soap and shampoo were luxurious. Also we were so close to walking downtown and to the beach.

Our stay was great but beware of the room type when you purchase. We selected the Chapman Queen and ended up in a Petite Queen. We were able to switch our room on the 2nd night which was much bigger than the first night. Fantastic location and would definitely stay there again.

The room was perfect! A classic design with simplicity. It was clean and had all we needed. The shower was beautiful with two shower heads as well as a handheld shower. We never encountered another person, but not times I called about early check in and late check out the customer service was wonderful. They were very accommodating and helpful. The house is located very close to the shops, ferry, and great restaurants.

Right from check-in the balcony door key did not function… Sam stated it would be taken care of & it never was, first night the folks above us from 10:30-11:15 were crazy loud, we called front desk left message and over 24 hours later addressesd this with front desk (Jillian). They seemed somewhat but never any action to resolve. At 4:00 the next morning a woman ran down the stairs hysterical crying. On the third night is was noisy again above us. On the 4th night a gentleman was outside yelling Betty Miller for 3 ish hours. Finally, the cops come and wow who knows what happened. Besides all this the pillows are awful. We stay in many many hotels and never have had such a poor experience. Although Nantucket is beautiful and we still had a nice vacation/birthday, this has left a very poor lasting impression of Nantucket Resort Hotels.

Great little spot close to town. Bathrooms are updated and clean, room was very nice, but our room was next to the front door so you can hear everything in the hallway.

The Chapman House was a fantastic stay. Clean and comfortable. However, the stay was very loud. Our room was right near the main door — additionally, there is a lot of construction going on right next door as they’re rebuilding an Inn that burnt down.

We loved this hotel. The atmosphere and staff were lovely, the bed comfortable, breakfast simple but yummy, lots of amenities, and we loved the location, being close to the main part of town yet a little out of the way, so in a quiet neighborhood. The only negative was that the room was a little small - not the purported 250 sf., more like 200 sf, at most.

The room was clean and charming, as advertised. I was disappointed with the lack of communication between the hotel personnel. For example, the key for the room was left on a plate with a sticky note bearing my name. Had it been in an envelope with a short welcome note, some brief instructions and at the very least, a thank you, I would’ve been more open about the lack of personal presence I had from the beginning. There were some delicious salted caramels left for me when I stated my discontent but the dye was cast. Also, bicycles were promised to me but that wasn’t an option when I got there. All ‘n all, I left feeling just meh about the hotel.

The property and location were fantastic… like many businesses they are understaffed and so we waited more than a half hour at the check-in desk for a person to help us check in. It’s already bad enough when resorts will not allow you to check in until 3 PM that when you get there, you have to wait after 3:30 pm to actually have someone available to check you in.

We had a wonderful family stay-over of one night! Arrived early and they let us drop bags. Walked all over charming downtown Nantucket and returned an hour or so before checkin. They allowed us to checkin early and lit the gas fireplace on the porch. It was dreamlike. Wonderful service and very nice breakfast. Thank you!

Right from check-in the balcony door key did not function… Sam stated it would be taken care of & it never was, first night the folks above us from 10:30-11:15 were crazy loud, we called front desk left message and over 24 hours later addressesd this with front desk (Jillian). They seemed somewhat but never any action to resolve. At 4:00 the next morning a woman ran down the stairs hysterical crying. On the third night is was noisy again above us. On the 4th night a gentleman was outside yelling Betty Miller for 3 ish hours. Finally, the cops come and wow who knows what happened. Besides all this the pillows are awful. We stay in many many hotels and never have had such a poor experience. Although Nantucket is beautiful and we still had a nice vacation/birthday, this has left a very poor lasting impression of Nantucket Resort Hotels.

When we checked in there was nobody around to check us in!!! And when we checked out, there was nobody around to check us out!!!! Very poor customer service! And when u call the number they left, it was an answering machine that said they werent returning until March!!

The property is conveniently located, only a couple blocks from shopping, the Whaling Museum and restaurants. The fire pit offered a relaxing place to meet fellow guests. Delicious breakfast! Our stay at The Regatta House was excellent. The property is top notch and all the employees were awesome. They all seemed to thoroughly love their job and were so helpful! The room was very clean and decorated elegantly; even the soap and shampoo were luxurious. Also we were so close to walking downtown and to the beach.

The inn was beautiful, clean, & well kept. Breakfast included freshly baked pastries that were amazing with delicious coffee. Snacks & beverages were available 24/7. Staff was attentive when needed. Location was great, easy 2-3 minute walk into town. Highly recommend.

Great location. Major construction next door. Not notified. 3rd floor walk up was very difficult for a couple our age - 70. They should know better and make that info part of the process. Included Buffet breakfast is at a separate B&B about 1/4 mile away. Again, should have been included as part of info. A bit understaffed as it took until 3:00 pm to refresh our room.

So happy the Veranda hotel has rebuilt. It is out new favorite hotel on the island. Rooms are beautiful and location is unbeatable. Just loved it. View was lovely and breakfast very good.

Overall: the stay was ok but it could easily be improved to be a great experience if the management tried. Good: room was clean upon arrival. Property is nice looking and there is decent outdoor seating. The place is very close to the steamship terminal and general location to the centre is excellent. Breakfast at the parent property is very close by and whilst the breakfast is limited in options, there is enough for it to work. No throw away mini toiletries Not so good: the living area with small items was poorly stocked (water cans ran out, there were no cups for coffee, snack biscuits were gone after the first day). The bins were not emptied in the communal areas for days meaning they became overflowing. Room cleaning was limited to refitting the same sheets and replacing towels. Fridge in the room was extremely noisy. Toiletries were not refilled in the room. There is construction going on right behind the property so it can get noisy from 8am. Internet was intermittent

We had a lovely stay. The staff were friendly and the inn was very clean and well maintained. Every need was met and even some we didn’t know we needed like the warm chocolate chip cookies every afternoon. The breakfast had a good variety and everything was fresh and delicious. Would definitely recommend and we plan to return.

We booked two rooms, one for me and the other for my niece and her fiancé. Cara, the manager, is beyond nice and incredibly helpful. There is nothing inexpensive about Nantucket. That said, this ia a property that offers value and amazing convenience.

This hotel is very nice. The breakfast was a huge plus given not many bed and breakfasts on the island offer it. The room was clean, but they are small- more suitable for a couple. There was a lack of counter space as well. The largest issue is the noise. There was an aggressive sound of running water in pipes that happened about once every hour or so that did wake us up throughout the night. You also can hear people opening/closing doors etc. I am a super light sleeper so that was a bit rough for me

The Regatta Inn is within walking distance to anything you want to do. Rooms are small but you’re not there to hang out in your room all day. The price is way too much but it’s Nantucket so they can price high in the summer. Same room in the winter is $150 a night.
