- Pontos positivos: quarto e banheiro amplos, pessoal do hotel muito prestativo e educado, boa logística pela proximidade à estação Garibaldi, boa cama, boa limpeza. - Pontos negativos: edifício muito velho com elevador totalmente sem condições (deveria ser proibido de operar), o ralo do chuveiro não dava vazão transbordando para fora do box alagando o banheiro (mesmo depois de informado à gerência continuou praticamente igual), a região (praça Garibaldi) é terrível, cheia de gente desocupada circulando de forma suspeita, (e como Nápoles em geral) muito suja e desorganizada, com lixo por todos os lados e gente dormindo na rua. Apesar do bom atendimento do pessoal do hotel, não retornarei pelas condições gerais do edifício e da região.

The entrance to the hotel was a little difficult to find, you enter a courtyard and walk to the elevator at the back and take to the 4th floor. Building staff at entrance showed us where location was but then yelled/translated to us about how we should be able to speak Italian otherwise we should not be visiting the country.

Tough to find initially, but well worth it. The rooms are modern and efficient. Chosen the night before, breakfast is delivered to your room. There are ample choices and variety. The area is close to the train station and central piazza, with all that entails. Personally, I had no problems, but I'm sure they can found easily enough. There does seem to be a sufficient police and military presence. On the hand, super easy to get to Pompeii and other places on the rail network. The staff were friendly and helpful.

O Hotel apesar de estar num prédio bem antigo e compartilhado com outros hoteis, comércios e residências. Quando vc chega no quarto piso o hotel é novo. A localização é muito ruim muito suja.

The neighborhood was not great. I expected a hotel, not a floor in a shared building with many other “hotels.” No staff on hand when we left.

Helt ok rom, men skuffende ogskitten oppgang med heis som ikke alltid funket. Ufattelig trangt bad med spyler som måtte repareres av gjesten selv. Ikke plass til å bevege seg på badet. MEN nytt og rent.

Whilst we struggled to find the enterance originally, once we did find out we needed to go to floor 4 we had to use the rather old and small lift and couldn’t all fit in. Two trips later we were in the B&B reception. Staff were super friendly and explained we had to order breakfast the night before and it would be delivered to our room the next day. Good options of the breakfast menu. The room itself was spacious, clean and tidy and had everything we needed for a nights stay.

Central location, in Piazza Garibaldi, right next to train station. Property when arriving was unexpected, once you get over the entrance the apartments are clean modern and staff are fantastic. No window in room we had frosted windows which looked over the back which you could not open due tonthe birds. We found the property noisey with the birds and upstairs during night with banging, we know this is not the properties fault. We were here for 2 nights and was ideal for a short stay within short distance for all ths Naples can offer. Breakfast was delivered to the room at the time you spesify each morning.

Close to main station so perfect of an overnight. Elevator too small , lobby is in 4 the floor, the entrance is shared by multiple small hotels then with elevator is sperated. Staff nice. It they leave overnight , seems like an Airbnb. Inside room very clean and renovated. It's the downtown of Naples.

Staff were very friendly and helpful. Good breakfast delivered to the room on time. Room was well maintained and clean. Nothing negative to note.

Small but very clean room. Perfect for our one night stay before our cruise. Gabriella and her staff were wonderful!

Càmera spaziosa pulita nel complesso ma abbiamo dormito con un bambino con la muffa in camera mi sono svegliata la mattina con mal di ossa e i capelli crespi come un leone, problemi con la doccia che non tirava acqua quindi ci si è allagato tutto, e nessuno a risolvere il problema, aprire il balcone impossibile perché dal cortile ti sale la.puzza di cibo misto africano italiano e non lo so quindi pur volendo arieggiare impossible, la zona intorno è sporca dovuto alle persone che la vivono che non hanno senso di pulizia, per fortuna abbiamo alloggiato una sola notte altrimenti di sicuro me ne sarei scappata...mi dispiace per la recensione perché alla fine la cortesia della proprietaria serve a poco insomma...

Not clean at all ! The bathroom shower had mold all over the floor edges and also around the window near the bed. bed was only a mattress on the floor very uncomfortable. I would like to get a full refund my wife did not even take a shower.

Key problems with this property: 1. They only gave us one tiny bowl of fruit for three people. And charged 2 euros per new towel (Probably could've bought towels for that price) 2. There was mold around the bathroom. 3. There were many people sleeping on the street by the hotel. We were also harrased by someone who appeared intoxicated near the hotel. 4. They only gave us one water bottle per day for three people and charged us 1 euro per water bottle and there was no where to fill up the water bottle. 5. The property itself was in disrepair. The elevator (and there was only one elevator) was incredibly small and the doors sometimes didn't open. 6. No rack to store soap or shampoo in the shower. 7. At night when we needed a towel but because they keep the big towels under lock because they want to make their 2 euros, the only towels we could access were two small towels. 8. You could text staff over night but there was no one on staff at night. And the staff due to language barriers can't assist you with questions related to transportation, tickets etc. Positives- 1. The rooms were clean and the beds were comfortable but there was mold in the bathroom. 2. They gave us a nice new years package with wine.

The stay at Re Diego was great the property was very clean and the staff was very friendly and helpful with any questions we had. The hotel was very convenient for boarding trains since it's located across from the central train station. The streets outside of the hotel are dirty, but this not the hotel this is the city.

This B&B hotel is among the highlights I have experienced in traveling Napoli. I would use these words: spacious, clean, convenient, value, and last but not least, the breakfast. Two nights in a single room with a king-sized bed, it makes me feel like in North America, and plenty of unit space. The ladies maintaining these units are super nice. It’s 3-min walk from Napoli Centrale Statione. The neighborhood outside, just like Roma Termini, is full of strange, or interesting people, but inside the building, at the 4th floor, the room is very quiet and the bed is extremely comfortable, feeling like a 4-star chain hotel stay. The in-room breakfast delivery service is extraordinary, and I really had good colazione. The hotel manager, Susy, tries to contact you with the heads-up on WhatsApp for checking in. I have plans to return to Napoli and go Puglia, so if I can book, I will try to stay here again. My only complaint is that the Wi-Fi signal is not strong enough, and in my case, I had to get closer to the entrance to establish Wi-Fi connection. If I lie in bed, away from the room entrance, I tried with two phones and my iPad, and very difficult to catch the Wi-Fi signals.

Tutto buono, purtroppo c'era un fastidiosissimo e sgradevole odore dal bagno che non è stato neanche affrontato dal personale, nonostante immediatamente segnalato. I dintorni di piazza Garibaldi risentono inevitabilmente della vicinanza con la stazione ferroviaria.

Outside the property is NOT the most pleasant area and sight BUT once you get inside the property, it’s very nice and MOST of all, the rooms are great and newly renovated. It’s very modern and spacious. Staff is great and very accommodating. Highly recommended.

The soundproofing was effective - the Via Bologna under our balcony was crowded with stalls and was quite noisy during the day and evening. The first breakfast was very good, but on the second morning, several items we requested were not provided. After asking the maid, she indicated that some were not available, but others were provided on request. There was a language barrier, but that did not explain why the breakfast order was not completed. Also, we needed to obtain cash to pay the tourist tax, which was inconvenient, as we used our credit cards for every other expense on this trip. These hitches apart, the stay was excellent value for money, and the location close to Napoli Centrale station is very convenient.

I have stayed here three times, for the spacious room/bed, the convenience of walking to the train station, and the friendly ladies delivering my breakfast in room. The building is very old, but they tried their best. The only thing that needs improvement is the Wi-Fi, still unstable.

It's been an amazing stay. We're very happy with the service of the staff, the cleanliness and everything with the accommodation. Only little thing to wish for is more soundproofing balcony doors.

Rooms are renovated completely. No cloth holders in bathroom. For family of 1 kid, we felt the size of room is too small to accommodate luggage. Breakfast is okay, not much option. Near to train station but very crowded at the entrance of building. 4th floor is the Re Diego.This is how it is near the Central in most of the cities.

Once you get over the initial shock of going through the back courtyard and going to the 4th floor and having being demanded to pay city tax upfront in cash, the rooms were in good nick and breakfast was served lovingly every morning.

We were tailed by would-be thieves multiple times, who only gave up after we turned around and deliberately stared at them to make it clear we knew what they were trying. There are some excellent eateries close by, though, so if you don’t mind a rough and ready surroundings, fill your boots. The staff at the Re Diego also leave much to be desired. There was no one at the desk when we tried to check in at 8:30pm (the desk is only staffed until 7pm, there is no security besides locked doors), so our rooms were left unlocked for us to let ourselves into(!). The delivery of breakfast on a tray to your door in the morning should be a plus, but the staff who sort the trays arrive at 7am precisely and proceed to crash about, shout to one another, use coffee machines and slam doors from the moment they set foot in the place. Good luck to you if you want to sleep in. Breakfast is also only served between 8-10am - too late if you want breakfast before the first train to Pompeii on the Express. Would I stay at this place again? Probably yes, but we value location over much else. Would I recommend the Re Diego for other travellers? No.

Hotel qui prélève le montant de la réservation alors que j'ai demandé à ne régler qu'à mon arrivée ( suite à mauvaises expériences passées). Ayant demandé à ma banque de refuser toute opération avant mon arrivée, l'hôtel m'a confirmé par mail avour annulé ma réservation, cependant a encaissé la somme torale alors que je n'y ai pas séjourné . Chambre et salle de bains propres et spacieuses. Petits déjeuners de qualité très moyenne mais pour le prix c'est correct. Attention !Renseignez- vous avant d'arriver pour vous assurer qu'il y aura quelqu'un à l'accueil (les horaires semblent fluctuants , irréguliers.)Perso , je suis arrivée un peu après 18 h et ai trouvé porte close. Ayant réussi à force d'insistance à ce qu'un des locataires vienne ouvrir la porte j'ai pu trouver au comptoir d'accueil les coordonnées téléphoniques. Au téléphone mon interlocutrice:une sorcière vindicative agressive et menaçante sans aucune empathie qui avait très envie de ma faire coucher dehors , elle me réclamai la photo de mon passeport:le mms a été refusé par le serveur .J'ai demandé à plusieurs reprises une adresse mail qui m'a été refusé aussi à plusieurs reprises.Après d'interminables tractations ,j'ai eu l'adresse mail , ai pu envoyer la photo et obtenu les codes d'accès après plus de problème.Il vaut mieux parler italien , l'anglais de mon interlocutrice était difficilement compréhensible.

This a great room with private bathroom. The front desk is very accommodating. The let me check in early. The room was clean. The wifi was excellent. The location is close to the train. The best part is the breakfast. I recommend this place 10/01/25

Great location as next to station and airport drop off. Great base for Naples and elsewhere as station next door. Little trouble getting late room entry details but once we did they were perfect. Great sized clean room, shower brilliant. Just a frosted glass window. Would recommend

Clean, comfortable rooms and pleasant staff, near train and bus station. Surrounding area was dirty and unsafe. Was pick pocketed within minutes of arrival. would not stay in this area again.

This bed and breakfast is tucked inside a lovely building right on the square. Everything you need is right there - train, buses, metro, dining, shopping, and friendly Napoli locals. A true jewel in a bustling city of food and culture. I’d stay here again and again.

Great location (across the street from the central train lines) and the bus to/from the airport. The location is very urban/gritty but felt totally safe. The accommodation is clean/comfortable. It is a very old building but has a lift. You choose what you want for breakfast and it is brought to your room. Good location to explore Naples and to catch the train for day trips.

This hotel is about ease of access to transport locations, booked as arriving by train and doing excursions and pick up for these was opposite hotel. Hotel is accessed by a door into a small square and 4 floors up, there is a lift. Exterior door is locked at night and you are provided with a key. Check in was easy and staff were helpful. Room was large and clean and modern bathroom, comfy bed. Shower was not the most powerful. Good breakfast choice which was delivered to your room at your time of choice. Outside is the train station area and there are a lot of people sleeping in the streets and hanging about but there is a police and army presence. A lot of rubbish lying about too because off this. There are restaurants opposite which were always full of tourists, would recommend Parthenope.

Ao lado da estação central de Napoli, a cidade é caotica mas quando vc chega no quarto se surpreende. Quarto amplo e confortável, não tivemos problema com barulho e o café da manha foi muito bom!

Idéal car près de la gare. Pas de réception. Petit déjeuner moyen servi uniquement en chambre.

Very nice place close to train station. Large spacius room with French balcony to feel and follow city life. Breakfast by order brought to your room every day. Friendly staff. Walking distance to city life and attraction. Love to stay here again.

La posizione davanti alla stazione è ideale. Purtroppo la zona non è ben frequentata ed arrivare a tarda sera con il buio mette un pò d'ansia per il rischio di potere fare brutti incontri. Questo però è un problema delle aree circostanti le stazioni di tutte le grandi città italiane. Roma e Milano non sono migliori...... A parte quanto sopra l'albergo ci è piaciuto ed il personale si è dimostrato molto gentile e disponibile. Permettetemi un appunto riguardo alla colazione. Il caffè non era buono e non faceva onore a Napoli dove è un'eccellenza. Per il resto la scelta della colazione è buona. Saluti Emilio Maio
