Hampton Inn & Suites Hartford/East Hartford

Note that this location is under renovation, so maybe it will get better. Our room was just ok. The beds were old and not comfortable, with thin bedding. The bathroom was clean, and the shower was new. The view from our room was a concrete wall. Very nice staff and breakfast was what you expect. Short drive to Trinity College, which is where we were going.

The hotel and the room were wonderful, Luis the maintenance person was very pleasant and very helpful with the AC and TV in the room. He was nice and offered his services to us. The front desk staff named Jasmine was very rude and very mean tone with an attitude. Was not helpful when asked where we can order food from.

The hotel was very dated, the room looked like it was from 1970 “ yes I’m old enough to remember 1970) the rug was bunched up in a tripping hazard in many places in the center of the room. The bedspread had pools in it and looked like it’s been worn out for 10 years the couch I wouldn’t even sit on.. I would expect to see this room at a red roof in and not where I paid $200 with tax and all included. During checkout couldn’t even tell the front desk personnel because she was talking to her girlfriend on the phone the entire time and never asked me a single question.. Very disappointed . I would absolutely never stay there again

The carpet and the couch in the room that I was assigned to me and my family was awful to point that I checked out within 30 minutes the same day.. smh

Water would not get hot in shower. Place is under construction so nothing is open.
