Hotel & Wellness Zuiver

I could not tell what the hotel was trying to be? Was it a hotel? Was it a Spa , was it a Tennis Centre? - How knows!! I wanted to use the Gym in the morning but was informed it was in the spa and that didn't open until 10am. In order for me to use the restaurant i have to be in spa attire , swim suit, rob and slippers. Only vending machine offerings for food , no bar unless in the SPA !!!

I’m sad to have returned to Zuiver to find it Promoted as a wellness spa hotel but have to pay extra to get into facilities approximately 50 euros per couple per session and the car park approximately 24 euros per night, If this is supposed to calm you down for your stay it didn’t work.

The property and staff were wonderful. The rooms were clean and luxurious. The property amenities were great! Including the spa and the gym.

Das Hotel ist wirklich gut und Gross... Riesen Wellness.. Schlecht ist das der Parkplatz ca. 25 Euro pro Tag kostet.. Und das Wellness pro Tag und Gast nochmals 30Euro.. Das sollte dabei sein bei den Zimmerpreisen oder offener Kommuniziert werden vor Buchung...

It’s disappointing spa access is no longer included, especially given the hotel is marketed as a wellness resort. That was the stand out feature and my reason for booking. Adding it in as an extra now substantially increases the price over a couple of days compared to previous years I’ve visited.

Super Hotel in ein Sport-Zentrum integriert mit tollem Spa und Gym. Fruehstueck ist solide, total ok, nichts besonderes, würde aber wg des Spas auf jeden fall wiederkommen.

Spa facilities are superb - multiple saunas and steam rooms so no need to queue even when busy. Great, large pool which is both indoor and outdoor, several hot tubs and a fantastic large whirlpool bath. Excellent food in Spa restaurant. Hotel rooms clean and comfortable but lack storage space for longer stays. Hotel is in a nice area next to the Amsterdam Forest but quite a distance from Centrum and around a mile walk to the nearest Metro (although buses nearer). Overall very good and would highly recommend

When we first arrived the front desk agents were friendly and accommodating. They even let us into our room early. Breakfast was nice. The staff was friendly. The Spa is great! The restaurant at the spa is also nice, and the staff there are also nice. We keep our stuff nicely organized so we can have our room cleaned and our room was only cleaned 1 time out of the 6 nights we stayed. The cleaners would come and take our towels and robes and not bother to leave fresh towels or robes, clean the room, or freshen it up. The front desk girls could care less and would make us walk from the back building all the way across the parking lot to the front to get fresh towels and robes. EVERYDAY! I would not recommend this place nor would I ever stay there again.

Die Zimmer waren sehr staubig und dreckig. Es gab keine Fernbedienung im Zimmer, zumindest war sie nicht zu finden. Der Wellness Bereich ist super! Die Zimmer leider nicht

On my last night (thankfully) I was awakened by an animal (likely a rat) in the wall scratching and gnawing away frantically. This went on for about 30 minutes. I was completely creeped out. If it weren't my last night, I would have checked out in the AM anyway. I told the front desk at check out and she didn't particularly care and just said 'I'll tell my colleague.' Also, a simple "thanks for staying with us" goes a long way... instead I got "here's your receipt". The room service (cleaning) is terrible. Everything was hit or miss. I didn't get coffee refilled for 3 days. They never took my dirty classes. Towels weren't always replaced with the same ones they took away. Pretty lame. I would not stay here again and would not recommend it.

The room was clean and tidy! Lovely atmosphere and also breakfast was amazing. We enjoyed the spa and all facilities!! The bathroom the bedding everything was great!! The staff were all polite and lovely. Our only thing was the beds as there was two single bed placed together and they constantly slide over the floor when we moved.

Don’t stay at this hotel unless you plan to use the spa . Hair still in my bed from cleaner . No food unless you pay for spa . Basic rooms

Nice clean basic hotel with great spa.

Leider ist die Nutzung der Pools nicht im Hotelpreis inklusive. Man muss 30€/Tag pro Person zahlen. Da wir nicht vor hatten einen ganzen Tag im Wellnessbereich zu verbringen, ist das einfach viel zu teuer. Es wird aktiv mit den Bildern von den Pools etc. geworben. Da sollte meiner Meinung nach die Nutzung im Zimmerpreis inklusive sein. Die Info das man dafür einen Aufpreis zahlen muss, steht nur im Kleingedruckten. Des Weiteren waren wir nicht sonderlich zufrieden mit der Sauberkeit unseres Zimmers. Wir hatten mehrere Flecken auf Kissen sowie Decke. Für das Parken wird ein Gebühr von 24€/Nacht berechnet. Das ist aufgrund der schlechten Lage zur Innenstadt auch zu viel. Ganz im Gegenteil ist uns das Frühstück positiv aufgefallen. Ausreichend Auswahl und qualitativ sehr gut. Deswegen auch die 2 Sterne.

Tutto perfetto, ma le pulizie giornaliere devono sicuramente essere migliorate, la stanza era perfetta all’arrivo, ma i servizi di pulizia giornalieri non pulivano granché. Per il resto ottima struttura, la spa è fantastica, il personale cordiale ed il posto in cui è ubicata la struttura è bellissimo.

Sehr ruhig gelegen im Grünen. Die Sauberkeit im Zimmer war generell okay, allerdings hatten wir desöfteren orange Flecken auf den Handtüchern, das war etwas seltsam. Nach dem Duschen hat es oftmals stinkig gerochen, da müsste der Abfluss wahrscheinlich mal gründlich gereinigt werden. Rein oberflächlich sah die Dusche aber sauber aus. Das Spa ist wirklich schön, kostet aber leider extra. Deshalb ist das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis nur noch so mittelmäßig. Zur nächsten Metro ist es ein gutes Stück, aber eine Bushaltestelle wäre recht nah. Frühstück war sättigend und ausreichend, durch die kleinere Größe des Hotels hatte man viel Platz im Frühstücksraum und wenig Verkehr am Buffet. So ein ruhiges Frühstücken hatte ich selten in Hotels. Alles in allem hatten wir einen guten Urlaub dort, aber der Preis ist mir persönlich zu hoch.

Professionelles Check in. Grosszügige Zimmer (Junior Suite). Wellnessbereich, der abends lange geöffnet ist (22.30 Uhr), morgens (erst) ab 10 Uhr, mit Pool (Innen/Aussen), Badeschuhepflicht ( können gekauft werden) , Saunas, Whirlpool. Vielseitiges Frühstück.

The place is nice, and really great service. The rooms already seem a bit worn down. The spa is the perfect place to relax.

Fräscht hotell som ligger en bit utanför stan. Vi missförstod och trodde att det skulle finnas en öppen pool på hotellet men allt tillhör spa:t som inte ingår i rumsbokningen. Badkläder gäller tisdag till torsdag, resterande dagar gäller utan badkläder på spa:t. De tar ut en väldigt hög summa (300€ för mig och min kille) i deposition som hålls under vistelsen och som jag ännu inte fått tillbaka nu 3 dagar efter utcheckning. Personalen var väldigt vänlig och frukostvärdarna var trevliga och behjälpliga. Det är cirka 1,3 km till närmsta metro och det går en buss cirka 500 meter från hotellet. Dock ingår inte denna buss i dygnsbiljetterna som man kan köpa för buss, metro och spårvagn i Amsterdam. Det tar cirka 20 minuter med metron in till centrum. Det finns inte någon mataffär nära hotellet och rummet har ingen kyl. När vi var där stängde deras restaurang vid 17.00.

The services were excellent. The room condition was not really up to the standered of the facilities. Beds need to be upgraded.

Kamer is redelijk voor het bedrag wat ik betaalde. Geluid van de gang was goed hoorbaar in de nacht. Jammer dat de Spa niet inclusief was. Parkeren is 21 euro per nacht. Ontbijt is middelmatig. Bediening is super vriendelijk.

Comically nice but distracted staff and service in the restaurant and some of the saddest ghost of the memory of the forgotten flavor of food for dinner that I’ve ever had for quite a pretty penny. They forgot menu twice, brought wrong drink, didn’t appear to be using gloves while handling the food.

This hotel completely ruined what was supposed to be a special trip. We booked 6 nights with high expectations, but reality was very different. Our mistake was not checking Google reviews before booking. At check-in we were shocked with a €300 deposit never mentioned during booking. Even two days after check-out, they’re still holding our money – unacceptable. The service was cold and indifferent. We had booked a double but got two singles that kept separating. Each bed had its own cover, making it impossible to sleep comfortably as a couple. As newlyweds this was very disappointing. When we complained, we were told we could “upgrade to a premium room” if we wanted better – no empathy at all. Only after repeated complaints did they finally fix the bed. Breakfast was another disaster: just eggs and croissants, nothing close to a real buffet. The spa, not included in the room rate, felt like a rip-off. When we tried it, it was overcrowded and poorly maintained. By 5pm one outdoor sauna even smelled like urine. Only one staff member seemed to manage everything, from sauna rituals to cleaning, which explained the poor condition. Staff overall seemed more focused on day visitors than hotel guests. It really feels like a day spa with a few rooms for rent, not a proper hotel with a spa. Overpriced, unfriendly, with hidden fees and little comfort. Save yourself the stress and book elsewhere.

We didn’t get a room so we had to sleep in the lobby. Horrible service. Don’t visit the hotel.

The hotel itself is excellent. Really nice rooms, easy access by bike, nice area and the best spa I've ever been in. My main issue was with the staff and costs not being very transparent. I arrived later than I planned (I'd cycled most of the day to get there) and when I asked the guy on reception whether I could use the spa the following morning as I wouldn't be able to spend much time there on the check-in day he kindly said "no problem, I'll add a note to your account". When I asked the person on reception the following morning if I needed to do anything different checking out she said there was no note and I'd have to pay a further €45 to use the spa. Which is a real shame as the spa is amazing but I could spend a further €45. I'm not sure which staff member was wrong but it was a bit disappointing. Also when I went to get slippers for the spa as there were none in my room no one said there was a charge for them, it was just added to the bill quietly. They should have been more upfront about this. All that said, the hotel itself is really nice so you'll definitely have a comfortable stay. And the spa is incredible, easily the best I've ever visited. I just wish I could have spent more than an hour using it.

The hotel boasts a welcoming ambiance and an exceptional wellness facility. The staff’s hospitality is commendable, and the wellness facilities offer a serene and rejuvenating experience, allowing me to unwind and disconnect from the outside world.

Vi tjekker ind kl. 15.30 og bliver modtaget af en rimelig arrogant fyr som virker til at han helst ikke vil forstyrres. Da vi bookede hotellet stod der ingenting om, at der var tillæg for at benytte spa-området på €29 pr person pr. dag. Vi spurgte til parkering og han fortalte det koster €21 pr. døgn. Kl. 20.30 modtager vi en mail om man glæder sig til at modtage os! Altså 5 timer efter vi er tjekket ind. I mailen står der, at det nu koster ekstra at benytte spaen og at der også er parkering til €15 lidt længere væk - det undlod han bare at fortælle om. Skal man i spaen, skal man have badekåbe og klip-klapper på. Har man det ikke, kan man leje det. Der var ingen af delene på værelserne hvilken er temmelig underligt på et spa-hotel. Værelserne var moderne, men meget mørke, og til prisen havde vi, ud over badekåbe og tøfler, som minimum, forventet krus til tandbørsten, servietter/kleenex, stikkontakt ved sengen (der var kun alm. usb stik). De to store sengelamper kunne ikke tændes. Efter hvert bad var der en pæn sø af vand foran håndvasken og på toilettet. Belysningen var meget mørk og derfor kan det være lidt vanskeligt at lægge make up. Rengøringen skiftede den brugte vandflaske på bordet, men de to brugte drikkeglas, blev blot stillet tilbage, med bunden opad, på trods af at de var beskidte! Sengetøjet blev ikke skiftet, på trods af at det var blevet “beskidt”. Det positive i det hele, var morgenmaden, som var ganske fin, men ikke noget som 3-stjernede hoteller ikke serverer

Very quiet area, by the beautiful park. A couple of restaurants around. About 1 km easy walk to the nearest metro station. Amazing spa, good breakfast, very helpful staff. Would stay again.

Spa formidable et grande chambre confortable. Seul bémol : l'éloignement du centre ville.

The Spa is wonderful. So much on offer and just fantastic. The gym is also superb and very well equipped. The hotel is average. Typical 3 star, no bar, and breakfast average. Rooms ok, not amazing. Also quite a way out of the city. Will cost €30-35 from airport and same to the city Center, but worth it for the spa experience.

It’s a huge sports complex in a forest with a lovely hotel on the side, great healthy breakfasts and a superb gym.

Situated in peacefull part of Amsterdam. Plenty place to park your car. Receptionists fast and pleasant. Basic brakfast, but fresh, friendly staff.

Dårlig opplysning om at spatilgang ikke er inkludert. Man må også kjøpe slippers for å få tilgang til spaet. Ellers var rommet rent og frokosten bra.

Ich habe das Hotel für einen Kurzurlaub gebucht, war insgesamt aber eher enttäuscht. Hauptkritikpunkt sind die hohen Zusatzkosten: Parken schlägt mit 74 € (!) für drei Tage (24 €/Tag) zu Buche, und der Wellness-Eintritt kostet zusätzlich 30 € pro Person und Tag. Dadurch verteuert sich der Aufenthalt noch einmal erheblich. Die Zimmer liegen in einem separaten Gebäude, sodass man für Frühstück, Rezeption oder Wellness jedes Mal über den Parkplatz laufen muss - wenig komfortabel. Zudem gibt es kein eigenes Restaurant: Abends essen ist nur in Kombination mit dem kostenpflichtigen Wellnessbereich möglich. Auch das Frühstück war enttäuschend und für ein Hotel dieser Preisklasse sehr einfach gehalten. Vegetarische oder vegane Optionen sind zudem kaum vorhanden. Positiv hervorheben möchte ich den Wellnessbereich: modern, großflächig, sauber und vielseitig - hier war der Aufenthalt angenehm. Fazit: Das Hotel hinterlässt einen zwiespältigen Eindruck. Der sehr schöne Wellnessbereich überzeugt, wird aber durch hohe Zusatzkosten, einen unpraktischen Aufbau der Hotelanlage und ein schwaches Frühstück relativiert. Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis stimmt aus meiner Sicht nicht, weshalb ich das Hotel nur eingeschränkt empfehlen kann.

Very good hotel with amazing Saunas and SPA area, one of the best I've had a chance to visit. Service was also perfect. I can't complain on anything apart from the fact that in order to eat in the on-site restaurant you have to buy a SPA access.

Fijne Spa en sauna. Veel keus in baden en cabines. Jammer dat het zo koud is in het bijbehorende restaurant en dat hier geen dekens beschikbaar zijn. Idem in de rustruimten. Kwaliteit van het diner in het restaurant is matig, maar toch vrij duur.

Dit was onze eerste keer in deze spa. Van de vele sauna's en resoorts die we al bezocht hebben zijn wij nog niet eerder zo tevreden geweest als met deze. Gecombineerd verblijf met hotel, dus drie volle dagen kunnen genieten in de spa. De opgietingen zijn van een hoger niveau en heerlijk! Het team wat er werkt geeft je een nog aangenamer verblijf. Uitermate vriendelijk en behulpzaam. In het bijzonder Mido, die ons in het restaurant precies gaf wat we nodig hadden en met fijne informatie kwam. We komen hierdoor zeker snel weer terug!
