We checked in and went up to our room where we found a dirty sock from the previous guest and the room had an unattractive aroma. I understand it’s a pet friendly hotel, we’ve brought our pets to hotels before. My issue is that we didn’t bring our dogs with us and we were still put in a room that was for humans and their pets. I know it’s normally the first floor or two that are for pets. We spoke to the front desk and they said they would speak to their manager and call us back about switching rooms. The guy at the front desk basically offered us an air freshener. We did not hear back from the hotel at all during our stay even after I messaged them through the hotels.com app. They offer and in and out parking. I wouldn’t pay parking with the hotel, they overcharge the actual parking garage by $12/day. Pay the parking garage directly. The lobby and breakfast facilities looked nice.
