Great place and very good breakfast, but the only USB port is on the clock/radio, nothing else in the whole apartment, but lucky me it didn’t work so flat battery from early in the morning, tried to find another in the PC and printer room but no luck.

We stayed over Christmas 2024 and the front desk had a list of all the local restaurants that would be open during the holidays. The parking facility was connected to the hotel but was $18 per day. If you’re a light sleeper then just know the hospital is next door so you might hear a helicopter. The location was amazing! So much stuff within walking distance.

Really dusty - broke out in full-body hives. Modern facilities and convenient location, but needed to take antihistamines for the duration of the holiday and was anxious every night about my allergy potentially being set off again. There was a thick layer of dust we scraped off the bedside table. Pretty clear they only really clean the bathroom daily and nothing else.

A lovely stay. Hotel in close proximity to CBD and Salamanca. Room was clean well appointed. Comfortable bed. A wonderful breakfast. Only disappointed was the street noise. We were on the 7th floor and it felt like a window was open. We could clearly hear traffic, sirens and even people talking out on the street. Probably won’t stay again, will look for accommodation with better soundproofing.

The Mantra is located very close to most amenities, and a very easy walk to Hobart harbor. The staff were friendly and most helpful re information on tours around the area. Our room was cleaned daily, the breakfasts we had were excellent with 1st class coffee. I would recommend this hotel to all who visit Hobart.

The staff at this place was great, very helpful and pleasant. The cafe offers affordable small breakfast. However, the beds are terrible and the floors uneven. This is popular with tour groups who probably aren't expecting much. This is a tired hotel.

Staff friendly and helpful. That’s where the praise ends. We paid $370 for a very small room, the bathroom light and fan didn’t work making the room humid and smelly, the view out of the window was a brick wall and breakfast wasn’t included. Mantra may consider this good value during the off season. I don’t.

The staff were amazing. Rooms are small but modern and comfortable. I stayed to be close to Hobart hospital which is very close and it’s next door to Ronald McDonald house. My niece was airlifted to Melbourne hospital and they refunded my paid in advance nights because I had to leave. Very grateful to them.

Good location. Disappointing that smart tv wifi connection had been disabled so unable to mirror etc movies for the night. We were told this function on all smart tvs had been disabled for security reasons. Paid parking by a private parking company is available for Mantra on Collin’s Hobart.

The staff were amazing. Rooms are small but modern and comfortable. I stayed to be close to Hobart hospital which is very close and it’s next door to Ronald McDonald house. My niece was airlifted to Melbourne hospital and they refunded my paid in advance nights because I had to leave. Very grateful to them.

From the moment we checked in with Sahil at reception, he was fantastic, very helpful and polite, lovely to chat too. Every morning and evening we left to go out, all staff acknowledge us. Breakfast here was absolutely fantastic chef is amazing and coffees were the best. Highly recommend to stay here and we look forward to coming back in the future.

Our room was cleaned daily, the breakfasts we had were excellent with 1st class coffee. I would recommend this hotel to all who visit Hobart.

The Mantra is located very close to most amenities, and a very easy walk to Hobart harbor. The staff were friendly and most helpful re information on tours around the area. It’s a bit of an older property but the apartment we had was still good. We stayed over Christmas 2024 and the front desk had a list of all the local restaurants that would be open during the holidays. The parking facility was connected to the hotel but was $18 per day. If you’re a light sleeper then just know the hospital is next door so you might hear a helicopter. The location was amazing! So much stuff within walking distance.

A lovely stay. Hotel in close proximity to CBD and Salamanca. Room was clean well appointed. Comfortable bed. A wonderful breakfast. Only disappointed was the street noise. We were on the 7th floor and it felt like a window was open. We could clearly hear traffic, sirens and even people talking out on the street. Probably won’t stay again, will look for accommodation with better soundproofing.

From the moment we checked in with Sahil at reception, he was fantastic, very helpful and polite, lovely to chat too. Every morning and evening we left to go out, all staff acknowledge us. Breakfast here was absolutely fantastic chef is amazing and coffees were the best. Highly recommend to stay here and we look forward to coming back in the future.

Complimentary Bottle of Wine was a lovely surprise. Also the breakfast was terrific, choice of anything on the menu except the big breakfast. Would recommend. The only let down was the view, on the 5th floor we could only really see car park.

Upgraded my room which was spacious and clean. Really helpful staff with luggage storage and opening space up for me to do some work in the cafe later in the day. Very close to all the sights in Hobart.

Everything was fine except the renovation underway. Nothing to advise that we wouldn't be allowed to ‘sleep in’ past 7am. Workers were sanding at 6:45am. We stayed another 2 days and both days were woken by worker noises again at 6:45am. Being on holidays it would have been nice to have a sleep in until at least 7:30am.

The staff were helpful, not far from shops or water front, quiet area and parking right next door at a discounted rate, rooms were lovely, breakfast was great in the downstairs café. The only downfall was the tiny lounge that was made for two but not big enough to lie down on. Could have gotten rid off the large desk to make room for a bigger lounge. Also not much free to air to choose from on the TV. Everything else great.
