Splash Magic RV Resort

I wish I knew about this place when my son was smaller, he is 15 and loved it! We will be back!

Splash Magic is not what it used to be. We were just there Sept 4-6 and the property is not being maintained like it should. We stayed in a Deluxe cabin that has not been well maintained. While it had bedbug cover protection on the beds the rest of the unit had a stained dirty toilet and shower insert , the floors were dirty, damage tiles in the cabin, the only tv they have didn’t work and all the windows were left unlocked. The outside deck and tables look like they had never been cleaned. The couch cushions were erected stained which I used windex on, was an easy clean. As far at the resort goes, we had to pay $15 per child per day to buy arm bans so they could ride the bikes, paddle boats , bumper boats and water slides in the pool. The resort had about 10 bumper boats with only three of the working. The bikes had more broken bikes and didn’t have any maintenance to be working on them. The resort was going on loud speaker telling the kids to bring the bikes back so other kids could ride. I’m my opinion, the resort is putting the problem on the kids instead of fixing the problem, which is to repair the bikes. We did miniature golfing and the golf area is not being maintained or cleaned. There were huge cobwebs at every hole and when we went to get our golf balls, there were almost none available. No one is maintaining the courses either. There were tons of rocks and debris on the green to keep you from playing a good game. Extremely disappointing!

we were booked for a ten person cabin but somehow the computer system messed it up but the manager was able to put us into two other cabins instead .the kitchens are well stocked and the pools and activities were fun .we didn't realize the pottery barn is only open at certain times and the boats and the bike rentals closed at 6 pm so we bought wristbands but didn't end up using them the pools stay open at night . we did a late check out too continue swimming . the water slides were closed most of our stay but we didn't use them but it could be a turn off for other families.lots of dogs waking about if you are a dog person .

There was a lot to do for the entire family and the cabin was amazing. There was a small mix up with our reservation but the staff more than made up for the inconvenience. Splash Magic has definitely became our #1 destination for our yearly family vacations!!

The staff were so friendly, and the amenities were so worth trying! Our cabin was clean and private. There were many others staying in other cabins but you still felt peace and it felt nostalgic to a family campground. I highly recommend !
