Cork Factory Hotel

Gorgeous! So different and classic. The room was clean and everything was well kept.

I'll write this here, because when I try to send direct feedback on the survey the property sent, the capta security doesn't work and never allows it to submit: To the hotel: You already know this based on many reviewers' comments on here over the years, but the complete lack of soundproofing from the squeaking exposed floorboards from above (my room's ceiling) and hearing neighbors speaking between the walls desperately needs to be fixed. Aesthetically the hotel is beautiful. Functionally, it's close to unusable as a hotel for guests on Floors 2-4. If someone is staying in the room above you, forget about it, your stay is constant squeaking. Fortunately, our front desk person empathized and was able to move us from the 3rd floor to a 4th floor Accessible room on a sold out night in order to escape the constant ceiling floor creaking above us. Without that, I would have likely required a refund and found another hotel. Also, surprised how well we could hear our neighboring room's conversation. They weren't talking loud, but we could hear them no problems. You already know all this. Looking at reviews after the fact, you've been told many many times about the unacceptable sound proofing for this class of hotel. In the end: Beautiful hotel. Functionally poor.

Beautiful hotel. Charming and clean. Very comfortable and quiet. Easy access to the city and to the highway. Would definitely recommend staying here whether it’s for business or pleasure.

Charming hotel very close to downtown Lancaster. The rooms are very spacious with comfortable beds and nice pillows. The history of the original cork factory was well preserved making everything twist and turn in the hallways a treasure trove of something historical to see.
