Het personeel was vriendelijk en altijd bereid om te helpen. De kamers werden dagelijks grondig schoongemaakt en voorzien van schone handdoeken. Het ontbijt was eenvoudig, maar smakelijk – een traditioneel Turks ontbijt. Binnen vijf minuten loop je naar alle belangrijke bezienswaardigheden. Het hotel is gelegen in een rustig zijstraatje met gezellige lokale restaurants in de buurt. Vanaf het dakterras heb je een prachtig uitzicht.

We stayed in the Bosphorus suite, which quickly became a cherished, quiet and breezy sanctuary from the heat and noise of the city. We particularly enjoyed both our private little deck, and the rooftop observation deck, which provided stunning 360-degree views of the city. The hotel is excellently situated, within walking distance to all attractions, and the staff seemed sincerely eager to help out with whatever we might need.

This is a great small hotel in the center of the old town. Everything is within a walking distance. View from the roof terrace is 5 stars. Rooms are spacious and comfortable with amazing views especially from the 4th floor location. We had a free upgrade from 3rd to 4th floor and a knife with plates when we asked for something to cut the watermelon that we bought on the way from airport to hotel. However, hotel needs some upgrades and fixing. Specifically: - Room's furniture needs renewal. - Safety box had broken lock. - Lift in the hotel is the slowest lift ever. People working in the hotel are absolutely amazing. Front desk person Emre is speaking English very well. He gave us a city map and suggested very nice restaurants close by with great food and great prices. Omer was helping us with luggage and also told us about the city. Yasin was helping with any technical issues in room, he brought a working safety box when we complained about the broken one. I would give a hotel staff a 5-star rating.

The staff was excellent & very helpful. The view from the rooftop deck was perfection!! Breakfasts were very good. It is a very short walk to the most important major places to see (Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia, Basilica Cistern, Grand Bazaar, Egyptian/Spice Bazaar, several museums, etc). Easily walkable to restaurants & shops. Staff helped us take the train which was nearby. We also walked down & were able to hop on a boat to take a 1.5 hr tour on the Bosphorus.

Pasamos una estancia espectacular. Es un hotel muy bien ubicado, cerca de las atracciones turísticas más llamativas de Estambul y conexiones de transporte publico Desayuno diario exquisito que lo puedes disfruta desde la terraza con una vista de Santa Sofía, Bósforo y más. Personal del hotel muy amables y cooperativos en todo. Hotel muy recomendado

The hotel is right at the heart of the city within walking distance of all the main sites with plenty of good food options including street food directly outside which was excellent. The views from the top floor terrace are amazing for sunrise and sunset views of Hagia Sophia and the ships on the Bosporus

I had a lovely stay here. The location is terrific! You can walk to all the sites in Old Town. The room was nice and I had a nice little balcony. One of the best parts was the AMAZING rooftop terrace. The view is just stunning!

The staff is very friendly and helpful. The property is very tired and run down. The bathroom especially needs to be refinished. The furniture is scuffed and sad. Our electric outlets blew a fuse multiple times a day. A workman kept coming to fix it but the fix would only last a few minutes. The room had a beautiful view and a nice little outdoor terrace and is a good size.

The place was spotless and the young man at the desk was incredibly helpful. He went out of his way to help us. I was thoroughly impresses by him. The location was great. Easy sightseeing from here. Breakfast was different but mostly typical to the area. The only problem I had was there was not a shuttle that I thought was provided. Other than that it was great!

This is a great hotel for the price they charge. The free buffet breakfast is wonderful. The rooms are cleaned every day and the staff is very friendly and helpful. It is in GREAT location 5 minutes by foot to Sultanamet square and the tram. 10 minutes to the Grand Bazaar. Third time in Istanbul and this is my go to hotel. Very highly recommended.

Personeel zeer vriendelijk en hulpvaardig. Receptie probeert overal bij te helpen en geven ook adviezen en tips. Kamers zijn elke dag schoon. Mijn voorkeur gaat uit naar continentaal ontbijt.. Echter wat er geboden werd was ruim voldoende

Die Unterkunft können wir nur weiter empfehlen. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Frühstück war reichhaltig aber landestypisch. Das Hotel liegt in einer kleinen Seitenstraße, 2Minuten von der Hauptstraße entfernt, viele Sehenswürdigkeiten können zu Fuß erreicht werden. Die Sauberkeit war Top.

Great stay but not 4 star. This hotel is perfect for someone staying in Istanbul for the first time as you are a few minutes walk away from the two main Mosques, the grand bazaar and other attractions. You are also close to the metro line to explore other areas of the city. The staff are fantastic and very helpful. However, the hotel itself is not 4 stars in my opinion. The rooms are very outdated, the bed was very uncomfortable, the breakfast options aren’t what you would expect from a 4 star hotel. The bathroom also had a bad smell at times. The walls are quite thin so you hear everything from the halls and other rooms. The terrace is nice and gives you views across the city, would be better if breakfast was served there rather than carrying it upstairs in the lift to enjoy the views. Overall, overpriced but good if you just want to be close to the main attractions. I would recommend staying a little further away as the metro is great and saving some money. Sultanhamet is very expensive.

Las habitaciones son algo reducidas las q son para 3 personas. Están las 3 camas juntas. Y la limpieza no fue muy buena. El personal es excelente, te apoyan en todo y siempre muy atentos

Staff were very helpful and very nice! Check-in was easy and we even got a room with a balcony which was unexpected! The hotel is perfectly located within easy walking distance to all major attractions in the area. The view from the top floor of the hotel is amazing! I would definitely recommend staying here!

We stayed in the Bosphorus suite, which quickly became a cherished, quiet and breezy sanctuary from the heat and noise of the city. We particularly enjoyed both our private little deck, and the rooftop observation deck, which provided stunning 360-degree views of the city. The hotel is excellently situated, within walking distance to all attractions, and the staff seemed sincerely eager to help out with whatever we might need.

This is a great small hotel in the center of the old town. Everything is within a walking distance. View from the roof terrace is 5 stars. Rooms are spacious and comfortable with amazing views especially from the 4th floor location. We had a free upgrade from 3rd to 4th floor and a knife with plates when we asked for something to cut the watermelon that we bought on the way from airport to hotel. However, hotel needs some upgrades and fixing. Specifically: - Room's furniture needs renewal. - Safety box had broken lock. - Lift in the hotel is the slowest lift ever. People working in the hotel are absolutely amazing. Front desk person Emre is speaking English very well. He gave us a city map and suggested very nice restaurants close by with great food and great prices. Omer was helping us with luggage and also told us about the city. Yasin was helping with any technical issues in room, he brought a working safety box when we complained about the broken one. I would give a hotel staff a 5-star rating.

Für einen längeren Aufenthalt nicht zu empfehlen. Die Zimmer sind sehr klein aber sauber. Für einen Kurztrip allerdings ausreichend. Das Personal freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Frühstück, war sehr einseitig und nicht nach unserem Geschmack. Aufgrund der Nähe zur Moschee und leider sehr schlecht isolierten Fenstern, wurde man pünktlich um 06.50 Uhr mit dem Gebet geweckt. Die Lage ist unschlagbar. Alles zu Fuß erreichbar.

Great stay but not 4 star. This hotel is perfect for someone staying in Istanbul for the first time as you are a few minutes walk away from the two main Mosques, the grand bazaar and other attractions. You are also close to the metro line to explore other areas of the city. The staff are fantastic and very helpful. However, the hotel itself is not 4 stars in my opinion. The rooms are very outdated, the bed was very uncomfortable, the breakfast options aren’t what you would expect from a 4 star hotel. The bathroom also had a bad smell at times. The walls are quite thin so you hear everything from the halls and other rooms. The terrace is nice and gives you views across the city, would be better if breakfast was served there rather than carrying it upstairs in the lift to enjoy the views. Overall, overpriced but good if you just want to be close to the main attractions. I would recommend staying a little further away as the metro is great and saving some money. Sultanhamet is very expensive.

The staff were brilliant. Great customer service and very friendly. Very helpful. I stayed in room 201 with my brother. The twin beds were very comfortable. The room and bathroom was small, but very cosy and clean.

Amazing buffet breakfast. Housekeeping made the bed everyday. Hotel staff very friendly and helpful. They even helped to fix my I Phone when it locked up! Even the WiFi is good. Excellent hotel. My second stay here. Close to all the sights. Great location close to a tram line. My go to hotel for Istanbul

Great location. Front desk staff very friendly and helpful. Breakfast staff could be more attentive and offer to prepare eggs, etc. instead of guests having to call them out of the back room to order. Tables should be cleaned as guests finish. When we arrived for breakfast at 9 a.m. most tables were covered with dirty dishes.

Wonderful stay. Was offered a lot of help planning meals, shopping , and tours. Arranged for transportation to the airport. Was upgraded to a suite with a beautiful view of city and Bosphorus. Staff was friendly and helpful.

This is a great hotel for the price they charge. The free buffet breakfast is wonderful. The rooms are cleaned every day and the staff is very friendly and helpful. It is in GREAT location 5 minutes by foot to Sultanamet square and the tram. 10 minutes to the Grand Bazaar. Third time in Istanbul and this is my go to hotel. Very highly recommended.

Het personeel was vriendelijk en altijd bereid om te helpen. De kamers werden dagelijks grondig schoongemaakt en voorzien van schone handdoeken. Het ontbijt was eenvoudig, maar smakelijk – een traditioneel Turks ontbijt. Binnen vijf minuten loop je naar alle belangrijke bezienswaardigheden. Het hotel is gelegen in een rustig zijstraatje met gezellige lokale restaurants in de buurt. Vanaf het dakterras heb je een prachtig uitzicht.

The staff was excellent & very helpful. The view from the rooftop deck was perfection!! Breakfasts were very good. It is a very short walk to the most important major places to see (Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia, Basilica Cistern, Grand Bazaar, Egyptian/Spice Bazaar, several museums, etc). Easily walkable to restaurants & shops. Staff helped us take the train which was nearby. We also walked down & were able to hop on a boat to take a 1.5 hr tour on the Bosphorus.

We stayed in Agora life hotel for 5 nights and i will say it was a wonderful experience. The staff were ever so sweet and helpful when approached. The hotel is a 4 star hotel and not so extravagant but what i really appreciate the most is that everything you need was there like the smallest of things like cotton buds and slippers, which you probably woudnt get from other 4 star hotels. The hospitality from front staff to back office staff was so friendly. Breakfast could be better as it was the same cold breakfast everyday. Location was perfect as it was walking distance from most of the tourist sites and even more bonus, only 10 minutes away from the local tram! Thank you for making our stay wonderful Agora Life Hotel.

The hotel is right at the heart of the city within walking distance of all the main sites with plenty of good food options including street food directly outside which was excellent. The views from the top floor terrace are amazing for sunrise and sunset views of Hagia Sophia and the ships on the Bosporus

I had a lovely stay here. The location is terrific! You can walk to all the sites in Old Town. The room was nice and I had a nice little balcony. One of the best parts was the AMAZING rooftop terrace. The view is just stunning!

Das Frühstück, war sehr einseitig und nicht nach unserem Geschmack. Aufgrund der Nähe zur Moschee und leider sehr schlecht isolierten Fenstern, wurde man pünktlich um 06.50 Uhr mit dem Gebet geweckt. Die Lage ist unschlagbar. Alles zu Fuß erreichbar.

Es un hotel muy bien ubicado, cerca de las atracciones turísticas más llamativas de Estambul y conexiones de transporte publico Desayuno diario exquisito que lo puedes disfruta desde la terraza con una vista de Santa Sofía, Bósforo y más. Personal del hotel muy amables y cooperativos en todo. Hotel muy recomendado

We stayed in Agora life hotel for 5 nights and i will say it was a wonderful experience. The staff were ever so sweet and helpful when approached. The hotel is a 4 star hotel and not so extravagant but what i really appreciate the most is that everything you need was there like the smallest of things like cotton buds and slippers, which you probably woudnt get from other 4 star hotels. The hospitality from front staff to back office staff was so friendly. Breakfast could be better as it was the same cold breakfast everyday. Location was perfect as it was walking distance from most of the tourist sites and even more bonus, only 10 minutes away from the local tram! Thank you for making our stay wonderful Agora Life Hotel.

I have just had a four nights stay at the Agora Life Hotel in Istanbul. I stayed on the second floor in room 201. My hotel stay was not a pleasant one for a number of reasons but mainly because there was a strong smell of drains coming from the bathroom and seeping into the bedroom. I arrived late afternoon on Tuesday 1st September. I raised this on Wednesday afternoon with hotel staff alongside the fact that my bathroom floor was flooded whilst taking a shower. The staff member apologised and said that I would receive a complementary upgrade to another room and he needed to speak with his manager that night. When I returned that night, I was told that a chemical treatment had been applied and the windows opened. I went to the room and the stench of drains remained and worsened once the windows were shut ( as it was noisy outside). I raised this again on Thursday to no avail . Thursday night I wet pads of toilet paper and placed them on each of the 3 drain outlets plus I soaked towels to add additional weight. What should have happened is that I should have been moved from that room on Wednesday night. The hotel was situated along a cobbled side street - there was no taxi access to the front of the hotel which meant we had to drag our cases over the cobbles for a reasonable distance- as a fit person, i found this difficult. I can only describe my stay as grim and on this basis would suggest that you look elsewhere. In no way does the website represent the reality.
