Lion Hotel Dulverton

Fine, functional, decent breakfast, polite staff, good value.

Room was small but adequate for one night - unfortunately no hot water and dated system evidently being replaced but meant no shower.

Friendly staff, very quiet hotel in a great location. Breakfast was excellent. Parking is limited outside but there is a car park 2 minutes away. We would stay again.

Staff were really great. I stayed here for business so I needed to do more work in my room, the staff were happy for me to take my dinner up into my room and the rump steak that I had was incredibly good. I was also up and out in the morning too early for breakfast so the staff made me a packed lunch which was really nice of them.

Owner and his son were really helpful. We arrived late and left early, but will come back for a more leisurely stay as it was so welcoming and our room was lovely.
