HOUSE RULES We have a pretty laid-back atmosphere at the Flying Pig Hostels with smoking areas and shared dormitories. If you're young at heart, you are bound to enjoy what we offer. Groups of Soccer fans in the city for international or national matches . Pets Please be aware! If you are aged 40 or above, you must book a private room. Guests are required to show a photo ID and provide a credit card upon check-in. A booking for 8 or more persons is considered a group booking and cannot be booked through our third-party agents. This must be done via email, to request a group booking form, please email us. Read the above carefully! In the event of a false booking, there will be no check in nor will there be a refund! We make every effort to accommodate you in the dormitory size of your choice. However, because of the nature of our business, we may have to place you in a different sized dormitory. As a result the balance to be paid upon arrival can be slightly different than what is stated on your confirmation. All nights of accommodation must be paid for on arrival. Our staff always do their best to keep every group together in the same room. Most of the time this works out, but keep in mind that we are a very busy hostel, so we can never guarantee anything. Reservations in general: Non-refundable bookings will be charged in advance. Reservations can only be made with a MasterCard or Visa credit card. Maximum stay is 7 days. Upon arrival you can pay with your credit card/bankcard or cash. Any booking due to be paid on arrival with an outstanding balance of more than €200 will be authorised before arrival in order to guarantee your reservation. Please be aware, every booking at The Flying Pig Beach hostel is subject to a €2.58 tourist tax per person per night. This is to be paid along with your booking on arrival. You will be charged for all bookings you make. Please make sure you book at the hostel of your choice (Downtown, Uptown or Beach) for the dates of your choice. If you prolong your stay at the first hostel you booked for, please make sure that you cancel the bookings at the other hostels. If you don't cancel at the other Flying Pig hostels, your credit card will be charged as a no-show. Cancellations: We have a three day cancellation policy. If you cancel the reservation at least 3 days in advance of 00:00 on the day of arrival, there is no charge. If you cancel within the 3 days before arrival, the cancellation fee equals the first night of the stay. However, if you cancel your booking within 24hrs of making the reservations and before 12:00pm of the day of arrival you can do so free of charge, please be aware, if you have paid in advance, any refund will be subject to a 5% credit card handling fee. Any cancellation made after 12:00 pm on the day of arrival will be treated as a no show and therefore charged the full amount. Any deposit paid to a third party booking agent will not be refunded by the Flying Pig Hostels. Non refundable reservations are never to be refunded Please note that if you want to remove 1 bed of a group booking without 3 days notice the first night cancellation fee will apply for that bed.
