I’m not sure if it fully comes through in the pictures but this is a LUXURIOUS resort. The views are stunning, even just from the balcony of our room. The beach lounge area is fantastic. The staff is very attentive and the food was perfect. While I’m sticking with a 5 star rating, I have a few small areas of improvement: (1) There are a few flies by the beach and they’re quite annoying and aggressive. They land on you and hover around food. There aren’t a lot of them, but it’s enough to be bothersome. (2) They offered very thin blankets initially. We had to ask (twice) for a thicker blanket. A thicker blanket option should be the default. (3) It’s a small thing but the rooms need more hooks. There was no place to hang towels. Overall, this place is awesome and the value is terrific.

Upon arrival, the room smelled moldy because no air had been on - the terrace was overlooking the generator. The bed only had a mattress sheet and one square blanket that barely covered the bed- no top sheet, duvet or blanket that was big enough for one of us to turn over in bed without pulling the blanket off the other person. The general staff was extremely unhelpful. On multiple occassions, we would walk into the restaurant or lounge area and no one would acknowledge us - they would keep looking at their phones. We asked for them to call us taxis where the driver took a credit card and they said that wasn't possible, that no taxi drivers took credit cards only cash, which wasn't true since we paid with credit cards in other taxis. At the lounge day bed area - they favor the people in the front row - if they don't want sun, the people behind can't get sun - despite them not paying more than us.

Un problème de canalisation rendait la baignade impossible. La mer était sale au point d'être insalubre. Le directeur a refusé d'annuler notre voyage et nous a assuré que le problème serait réglé le lendemain. Mais le lendemain après-midi l'odeur et la saleté sont revenues et le directeur a concédé à annuler notre voyage, grâce à l'appui de Expedia. A l'exception du directeur qui n'est pas concentré sur la satisfaction client, le reste du personnel est avenant et accueillant. Le reste de l'hôtel est dans un bon état, le petit déjeuner et les repas sont bons.

Unprofessional Service and Disappointing Experience Our stay was disappointing due to unprofessional staff and a lack of basic amenities. We had an issue with hot water in our room, requiring two calls and two trips to the front desk. This dragged on for over three hours, and no one bothered to check the problem themselves. Breakfast was even worse. The only options were bread, cheese, tomatoes, honey, and a few egg dishes. As a vegetarian, I paid $20 for a bowl of fruit and $10 for a glass of orange juice—items you’d find at even the smallest hotels. It’s hard to believe this hotel has a 4-star rating on Expedia or Google. On our checkout day, we arrived at the breakfast area at 8 AM, hoping to eat before leaving at 8:15 AM. The first staff member showed up at 8:05 AM, clearly unprepared. Despite telling him we had to leave in 10 minutes, we received nothing and had to leave without the breakfast we paid for. Not a single staff member offered to pack food for our trip to the airport. Housekeeping was also unprofessional. While cleaning, they rolled up the sheets and accidentally took my AirPods. Thanks to “Find My AirPods,” we located them in the laundry room ourselves, as the staff insisted they were still in the room. I wish there had been an option for a refund after the first day. I’m just relieved I only booked two nights.
