Favourite hotel stay of our UK trip! Ate dinner and then breakfast at the restaurant which was really good as well. We had a larger room upstairs with air conditoining in the main room. Called the staff at night and they brang up a second fan for the second room with a pull out sofa our family was also using. I slept there and it wasn't so bad but it was a heat wave and the room temperature was a bit too high. There is a car park right across the street with free evening parking and resonable rates for the day. Staff were great and helped us find a spot to watch the England Football World Cup match which I thought might be impossible. No lifts and extra stairs because this is an older proerty so there are a few weird ups and downs for some rooms...not an issue for us but something to be aware of.

Lovely small hotel on the outskirts of Cirencester. Easy walk into town. Friendly staff and great restaurant and bar. Drawbacks are: 1. No aircon and a fan just doesn’t cut it in the current heat wave. 2. No lift - walking up to the third floor and up and down steps to get across the building was a struggle.
