This is actually a nice hotel but I cannot give it a high rating because I had chosen it over other possibilities solely on the basis of the promise of an indoor swimming pool. I had travelled a long distance and was looking forward to sharing time with my grandchildren at the pool. Upon arrival, I learned that the pool was closed, despite being described as available on both the hotel’s site and third party booking sites. The hotel comped me my parking fee, but that was small compensation for my disappointment.

Really haven't stayed in a hotel that grossed me out so much in a while. Just a feeling that cleanliness is not valued. Public areas lots of things not well-cleaned- stains on carpets, elevators dirty, things like this. In the room the headboards had marks from a dirty cloth and looked greasy, the edges of the light switches for the bathroom were filthy stuff like that. Noise from above and lots of Bremerton noise all night long. Blackout curtain needed work to get to cover the whole window and stay in place. And worst for us, we picked the hotel because of the pool, but pool was tiny and out of service, being filled with a hose. Bright spot was hard-working staff member keeping the breakfast service stocked with a smile.

Staff were very friendly, helpful, and courteous. The pool was a bit on the small side but clean. The breakfast area was roomy and well-stocked. There was a wide variety of food. The parking garage was convenient but best suited to compact cars. The rooms were clean.

The front desk staff and breakfast staff were terrific! The hotel as a whole is a bit old, but kept up well. It’s convenient to the ferry, the USS Joy, and a couple coffee shops and restaurants. Felt safe in the neighborhood and there was little traffic to deal with. Pool was small and weight room seemed small, but we did t use it, so it may have been ok. All in all, ok for a quick stop over.
