Seaside Sands Inn

The location was the only thing to like. In addition to the room being over prices because of the time of year when I checked in I was asked to pay an additional 10.00 for parking but if I moved my car from their lot I would lose my spot. So the parking is a hugh issue, the only other option is parking in the public lots at anywhere from 30 to 50 dollars a day. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

I checked in and the manager said. I won’t charge you for parking gave me a parking permit, put a bucket with my name on the bucket it stated reserved parking with my name on it. I left to the beach, came back and my parking was taken. And they couldn’t give me my spot back since I left. So apparently u get a spot but if u leave that won’t be your parking anymore. And alllll spots were taken. Horrible horrible. They don’t care if u booked a room them. Parking is for guest and random people in the streets.

Mis-advertised as a boutique experience; door was kicked in and we felt unsafe and uncomfortable staying there with just a chain as a lock. Management tried to bully us into signing paperwork. Parking was only guaranteed if you chose to stay parked the entire time of your stay for additional charge so we left. No offer for another room, no refund.

Room was nice. It was located very close to the beach. Parking was a challenge. Had to pay $10 with no guarantee you will have a spot if you leave. Larger vehicles. Forget it.

We were a bit unsure at first because the reviews were all over the place, but we were pleasantly surprised! The hotel is in an amazing location—just a 2-3 minute walk to the beach and centrally located on the pier. Everything was very clean, relatively new, and the staff were extremely friendly and welcoming. The only downside is the limited paid on-site parking, but there are plenty of public lots nearby. Overall, a great stay—and we would definitely return!

Bathroom very small. Not enough towels and no hooks to hang up wet towels Tied to book out at 9.15 and reception locked. Noone to take our keycards and hadto leave in room. Room was clean but on the 3rd floor with no elevator. Not for older people. Parking is limited and very tight. Had to pay extra for a spot to park.

Manager day of 5/28/23 was extremely rude and unprofessional when told our rooms were not prepared upon arrival when it stated on Expedia that it would be ready for 4:00pm. We drove two hours to arrive there at 5:56 for our rooms to be undone and still getting “cleansed” . She was very defensive and I stated I was not going to argue with such behavior!! Multiple people were at the front desk complaining. No soap in the bathroom, no new toilet paper, floor dirty- A young teenager had to get rushed to the ER because the shower door SHATTERED on her upon arriving - Seriously? Get it together.

Got to hotel, there was no parking, I asked the front desk person about parking and he told me that there are 2 spots but I couldn’t park there because I would block a jeep of a guest who checked out and they won’t be able to get out because I would block them, so the front desk person suggested I park in parking lot across the street for $20 till night and then park in hotel parking if there were spots - I had no choice and did that. By the way the next day when I checked out the same Jeep was still there with 2 spots in front of it. Got to the room and needless to say, as pictures show - there’s MOLD - ceiling is covered in MOLD, also there’s MOLD in shower. There were no towels, no soap. I went down to front desk to get some towels and perhaps get a different room, but the doors were locked to front desk - there was nobody there. I called the number posted on the door to ask for some towels and soap, they told me that they would bring some over - it took 2 hours and there was no soap, just towels… I understand that this is a 2 star motel, but putting guests up in a room with MOLD - really? Definitely NOT a place I would recommend!

The sheets were not changed; they Reeked of cologne There were no drinking cups in the room. The floor was dirty.

Traveled with family. Receptionist was very nice and accommodating. The hotel itself is dirty. The carpet the walls the floors need a deep cleaning. Floor had dirt like they weren’t even cacúmenes and mopped. The aire conditioned vents were dirty and bathroom vent did not work. It is a convenient location and offers limited parking.

From the outside of the Inn you would not know how nice the rooms are. You are one block from the board walk and the beach. The rooms are very clean and cozy! The beds are very comfortable. There is parking on site. For me it is a nice place to stay for a long weekend.

The pictures online of this hotel are misleading. The room we stayed in looked nothing like it did online and we feel like we were scammed by this place. There was black mold in the bathroom and the was a weird substance in the air conditioner. We slept in our car because the smell was overwhelmingly strong and we checked out after our first night there even though we booked it for 3 nights. When we attempted to check out the hotel manager tried to bribe us into not making a negative review and insulted us when we told him that we wanted to check out. We came to seaside with our 2 year old and had to sleep in the car on friday night because of the mold and insects. We couldnt be more disappointed with this experience.

So dirty, no parking, no towels, sheets unwashed , blood, dirt, gross yellow flakes. Lamps didn’t work. No staff in lobby for check in.. had to wait a long time. Dimly lit. 1/10

I stayed one night as planned, the bed was awesome, so comfortable. Everything was great, but it was very rainy, my shoes were wet and the floor was a little slippery. No harm done, the room was a good size, very comfy.

Internet was poor. Could not watch tv most of the time due to that. That was the big issue. Also we had one was cloth between the two of us and no hand towel. The man was around replenishing towels etc.. asked me if I needed something and I asked for wash cloths and he gave me everything but that! I will say people at the front desk did try to help me as best they could. I think the Internet needs upgraded for that amount of people who stay there. I would not go back there for those reasons nor recommend it.

Stayed for 2 nights and would never stay here again. Staff was polite but not helpful. My mattress did not have a cover on it. I asked for one within 5 minutes of checking in. I was told 30 mins. Never came. Went to the office several times and finally got it after complaining at 9pm that i could not put my kids to bed. The floor in the room was dirty, did not look like it was swept or mopped. The towels had stains on them. I always bring my own so it was not an issue but disgusting to look at. There is no elevator which sucked having 2 toddlers and being on the 3rd floor. The surrounding area was nice very close to boardwalk and rides.

Disappointed. Wasn’t expecting a 5 star hotel but this was a lot less then what I expected. First upon arrival( hour early) they already said they sold out of parking and had to pay an extra $20 to park in another lot. Tv would work for 3 minutes then freeze for minutes then work again and continued doing this back and forth . Shower sliding door was broken so floors would get wet when showering. Bed sheets were obviously not changed or washed. Had stains all over them. I’d pay the extra money to stay somewhere else

It’s two minutes away from the seaside Boardwalk. The beds were Comfortable And clean. The shower was new. The table in our room was broken And they charge $10 a day for parking even even when there’s nobody there. The other Hotel across the street has free parking

We wouldn't hesitate to stay here again. It is a dated property but it is apparent that the proprietors are continuing to make improvements.

Fantastic stay. Loved the cozy hands on approach of the owners. It made it feel very family friendly and safe. Room was adorable and very clean! Our kids loved it and so did we. Room had keurig with k cups, good sized fridge and microwave. Rain style shower head was a nice touch. About a block from the boardwalk and had a small grocery/convince store at the end of the street. I plan to come again!

The room was decent. I went with my family. Not much space for belongings for multiple people. The staff was terrible. We had a few issues with parking pass and just initial check in. Their attitude was horrible really changed the whole vibe of the stay.

My family enjoyed this property. We got here a bit early before checkin and was able to park and walk to the beach while our rooms were getting turned over. They were able to get us checked in about an hour before checkin time and the room was clean. I read some of the reviews before staying and was a bit concerned but glad we did stay. Great place to stay. Staff was friendly. Rooms were clean (sister got a room as well, and also very clean). We also had a minor mishap with losing our car keys and the front desk was polite with letting us look around the facility even after check out and did not charge an extra fee while we waited for a locksmith. Great for families and will stay again.

From the moment we arrived, the experience was profoundly unprofessional and unsanitary, raising serious concerns about both the cleanliness and management of the establishment. Our stay began with a concerning safety hazard: the air conditioning unit cover fell off upon arrival. We immediately reported this to the front desk, asking that it be cleaned. Despite an apology and a promise of immediate attention, no one addressed the issue. Furthermore, upon showering, we discovered the presence of black mold in the shower corners, a serious health concern. Given these unacceptable conditions, we asked for a full refund and checked out to seek alternative accommodations. While the manager was unavailable, the front desk staff initially assured us that a refund would be processed. However, subsequent attempts to follow up on this promise through Expedia and direct contact with the inn have been met with complete disregard. Expedia reported that the inn was unresponsive to their calls. After we secured alternative lodging, our attempts to contact the inn to confirm the refund were met with our phone numbers being blocked, both mine and my friends. The inn's subsequent response of only answering one call, then blocking the number, is completely unacceptable. The blatant disregard for guest safety, health, and well-being, compounded by the subsequent attempts to avoid accountability, is astonishing. Property and room is what you would expect from a high volume beach area. Bed was comfortable, room was decent for price. Walking distance (1block away) was boardwalk with shops, food, beach enterance. Very convienent for our stay

This location was very close(5 min walk) to the board walk and casino pier. Small location with about 20 rooms at best so very quiet and safe.

The stay was good. The woman at the desk was polite and helpful. I feel like I gave the man a little heartache when I asked to leave my car for an hour in the morning, but he ultimately allowed it so I did appreciate that. My only complaint would be that the listing stated that there was breakfast and there wasn’t. I’m not sure whether that was bad filtering on Expedia’s part or if the owners listed it without actually providing the service. Overall it wasn’t a bad stay, lot of weed smell blowing in through our AC at night, but that’s not the hotels fault. I also woke up in a good mood so maybe it’s related. I would stay again for though it’s not a bad place to be.
