Kavros Beachside Apts

Looking at the picture on Hotels.com site when we made the booking it makes you beleive that it is right at the beach. Which is not. Yes, it´s only about 5-6 minutes walk but you need to cross a heavily trafficked road on the way, Also a lot of other pictures was a little bit wrong as well. Almost looks AI-generated. Nice and clean place but it doesn´t seem to be ready. Two floors in the main building that was all empty - as well as a bar on the rooftop which was not ready either. Would have been much more nicer if it was. No food or coffee available. Only beer, wine and soda. Never got any information about the hotel with same name of the other side of the road. But I think that theese two are under the same regim. They were at the beach and had food - as well as a pool. Best thing was that we got to check in when we arrived - at 7:00 in the morning. That was extremely nice and helpful. Nice pool area as well with a large pool. Not enough sun beds though but it worked out.

We stayed in the apartment section of the hotel for one week in July 2026 and, overall, had a very pleasant experience. The staff were exceptionally friendly and always willing to help with any questions or requests. Our apartment was spacious enough for a comfortable stay. It included a stovetop and a small refrigerator, which made it easy to prepare simple meals. However, we would have appreciated having a microwave and a washing machine as well. The nearby beaches are beautiful and have great waves, especially if you enjoy surfing or simply like swimming in wavy water. There are several convenient amenities within walking distance, including grocery stores, a gas station, a pharmacy, and car rental services. This makes the location a great choice if you prefer exploring the island rather than spending all your time at the hotel. It's a comfortable place to return to after a day of sightseeing or to relax by the pool or the beach. The only downsides were a noticeable sewage smell in the bathroom throughout our stay. At first, there was a similar smell in the kitchen, but it disappeared after a while. It may be a general issue with the ventilation or plumbing. We also noticed a few small ants in the apartment from time to time, but they were not a major inconvenience. Overall, we left with positive impressions and would recommend this hotel to travelers looking for a comfortable base with friendly service and a convenient location.
