This was a fabulous hotel and definitely one of the best I’ve ever stayed in. Staff were attentive and helpful without being too ‘in your face’. The bedroom was spacious and felt like it had been designed thoughtfully. All the right toiletries were provided too - again it felt like a bit of thought had been given to what the traveller may require. Food in restaurant was lovely and staff were helpful there too. There’s a shopping centre next to the hotel but otherwise there’s not much around within walking distance. If I had to find fault I’d say the restaurant and bar were too cold, and I’d like to have been able to use the stairs instead of the lift at busy times. Unfortunately I was told the stairs were for emergency use only.

Beautiful hotel! The amazing staff and all of the included amenities made our stay wonderful! My parents and I stayed here for a few days and felt right at home. The breakfast spread has everything you could think of and everything tasted delicious!

We had an amazing stay . We are cyclists from Australia, cycling the world. We really like the Vivanta brand because of the exceptional hospitality. All the staff are very professional and friendly. The food was outstanding and tasty , catering for my intolerances. The gym equipment was top notch, we had the best massage ever in the spa and also a fantastic haircut! Everything exceeded our expectations! I can’t recommend this hotel highly enough. Everyone and everything was outstanding.

The rooms were damp and had mostly smell. The bedding were moist. All ‘embers of my family shared the same opinion but the manager did not acknowledge it. Food was good.

We had a 2-day reservation but left in a day, we could not take the unhygienic condition anymore. The room was unclean (not even vacuumed before giving it to us), linen was not fresh, the tables/countertops were dusty, bathtub/room not cleaned well, the bath curtain was moldy ☹ There were stain on the walls, cushion etc. The service was late and needed follow-up a few times. I would not call it a five-star hotel, we booked an executive suite, were told we have been upgraded to their premium suite, if premium suite is like I described before, I am not sure what to say. Staff seemed aloof, and apologies seemed very superficial. I don’t have anything good to say about this hotel from this visit, unfortunately, and am posting some photos of the unhealthy conditions of the room. It is not Taj/Tata/ Vivanta brand problem, issue is local to Vivanta Bhubaneswar alone since we received exemplary service at Vivanta Aurangabad where we stayed couple days prior.

This is the best place to stay in Bhubaneswar. The service provided by Chef Soumen and Kamalika and all the staff was amazing. Chef Soumen took care of all of our special food requirements with such willingness and kindness. Service above and beyond by him. Kamalika took care of all of our requirements too with careful attention. Thank you for making our stay so memorable. All the staff were amazing. Cleanliness was perfect. Highly recommend this hotel.

Good service from the staff. I stayed at the hotel during renovation and wasn't initially accommodated well. But the staff, particularly Mr. Rati Kanta was helpful in making us feel better. Overall the stay was good after the initial hiccup.

This hotel took extraordinary effort to see that we were taken care of in every way. The Front desk personnel were helpful, friendly, and charismatic, especially the girls who were there regularly like, Brenda and Roma. The concierge who helped us book our sightseeing was a wonder. He made sure that we would be safe with our driver since we didn't speak the language. He also made sure that we saw things like the Sun Temple that we might have otherwise missed. The personnel in the restaurant from the waiters to the chef all greeted us personally. They did an excellent job of making sure that we enjoyed everything we ate. We were there for 2 weeks, one week longer than anyone else in our party, and when we went in for our last meal, the supervisor and waiters came out with a special dessert that had BON VOYAGE written on it. Everyone in the hotel made us feel like we were their special guests. When the Indian culture says that they treat guests like GODS, the VIVANTA hotel actually does.

The dining manager repeatedly insists to have breakfast buffet despite having a la carte menu. Will only budge after told we are here to only eat a few items not interested in the large spread. I thought this customer pressure tactic is very unbecoming of a quality hotel. They should understand it is rude to force the customer this way!

We had an amazing stay . We are cyclists from Australia, cycling the world. We really like the Vivanta brand because of the exceptional hospitality. All the staff are very professional and friendly. The food was outstanding and tasty , catering for my intolerances. The gym equipment was top notch, we had the best massage ever in the spa and also a fantastic haircut! Everything exceeded our expectations! I can’t recommend this hotel highly enough. Everyone and everything was outstanding.

This was a fabulous hotel and definitely one of the best I’ve ever stayed in. Staff were attentive and helpful without being too ‘in your face’. The bedroom was spacious and felt like it had been designed thoughtfully. All the right toiletries were provided too - again it felt like a bit of thought had been given to what the traveller may require. Food in restaurant was lovely and staff were helpful there too. There’s a shopping centre next to the hotel but otherwise there’s not much around within walking distance. If I had to find fault I’d say the restaurant and bar were too cold, and I’d like to have been able to use the stairs instead of the lift at busy times. Unfortunately I was told the stairs were for emergency use only.

Beautiful hotel! The amazing staff and all of the included amenities made our stay wonderful! My parents and I stayed here for a few days and felt right at home. The breakfast spread has everything you could think of and everything tasted delicious!

Für indische Verhältnisse eine vernünftiges Hotel, entspricht etwa einen europäischen Hotel. Das Personal ist freundlich und bemüht, gelegentlich aber überfordert. Essen war durchaus gut und vielfältig. Man muss jedoch beachten das ist ein Business Hotel das Events und andere Veranstaltungen macht. Da kann es beim Frühstück schon mal stressig sein, wen 50 oder mehr Personen auf einmal auftauchen.

The dining manager repeatedly insists to have breakfast buffet despite having a la carte menu. Will only budge after told we are here to only eat a few items not interested in the large spread. I thought this customer pressure tactic is very unbecoming of a quality hotel. They should understand it is rude to force the customer this way!

This is the best place to stay in Bhubaneswar. The service provided by Chef Soumen and Kamalika and all the staff was amazing. Chef Soumen took care of all of our special food requirements with such willingness and kindness. Service above and beyond by him. Kamalika took care of all of our requirements too with careful attention. Thank you for making our stay so memorable. All the staff were amazing. Cleanliness was perfect. Highly recommend this hotel.

My stay overall was a decent experience but there are a couple of areas the management should focus to get a perfect score. #1. There were mosquitoes in MyNT dining area. Though in a small numbers, it was an awful experience one night during dinner to be constantly swating while eating. We were two dining on 5th July around 10 PM. It's obviously a health scare besides being extremely annoying.#2. The food preparation/taste during dinner (A la carte) was very basic. I dined twice and each time the food tasted bland missing the punch. Either excess saffron in BIryani and restless chicken or extremely bland handi veg, it left much to be desired particularly when cross town Welcom's Kebab and Kurries was stellar in comparison. I had to return my food once to redo the cooking to make it eatable. I must add though the breakfast was an excellent experience. The taste of Indian food in breakfast was right up there with best in class. I have stayed in this property twice and the PREVIOUS stay was exceptional with outstanding food (Guntur murg ka tikka, Palak paneer and Achari chicken) with perfect punch and seasoning on top.
