Fijne en unieke locatie! Goede uitvalbasis om de stad te verkennen. Personeel is behulpzaam maar niet altijd capabel. Meerdere vragen, waaronder waar kunnen we een fiets huren konden niet worden beantwoord. Dit hebben we uiteindelijk zelf uitgezocht. In de ochtenden was het heerlijk wakker worden met de kerkklokken van de Wawel. In de avond was het wat luidruchtig vanwege party boats die voorbij varen. Als je een vroege slaper bent en met het raam open wil slapen, kan dit hinder geven. Kamers zijn netjes en worden elke dag schoongemaakt. Echter hadden wij wel een erge rioolgeur in onze badkamer hangen. Antwoord hierop was dat dit te maken had met het weer en het water. Verder is het ontbijt dat wordt aangeboden erg teleurstellend, maar hier is het hotel zich van bewust en zijn er mee bezig. Advies is om lekker in de wijk Kazimierz op zoek te gaan naar een ontbijtje, genoeg keuze. Bij het Forum kan je gemakkelijk (bewaakt) parkeren voor 16 euro per dag. Dit is nog geen 5 minuten lopen van het hotel.

The uniqueness of the room.The bathroom was ideal very modern. It was minus 12 and thick snow when we were there but the room was nice and cosy. And nice hot chocolate at reception It was lovely and clean. The staff were lovely. The breakfast (not included) was very nice. IDue to the weather. We didn’t make use of top deck bar but I couldn’t imagine it would be lovely, the river was nearly completely frozen. The stairs could be an issue for people with mobility problems. The view from the room was fantastic. We asked the hotel to book our transfer, which was on time each way. The taxi cannot take you right to the door, so you have to carry you case down/up 3 sets of steps, which wasn’t an issue for us.

Great stay. Very nice hotel on the river that sways a small amount with the current and wind, which is interesting and different. Staff very helpful and friendly when asking about tours and surronding areas.

It was nice being on the river but no access for taxis. Staff not very knowledgeable. A little too far from the centre. The website describes a bar and breakfast buffet but this is not on site, it is up several flights of not well maintained concrete steps, in a separate hotel.

The positives - quirky, friendly reception, plentiful teabags and milk, river location (with ducks and swans on attendance) - 20-25 mins walk max from anywhere you may want to go - market, old Jewish quarter etc also, Hala Forum where you have breakfast is the best deal in Krakow - we wouldn’t have found it if we had been more central and it provided a variety of cuisines which were the freshest and best value we had anywhere. So downsides - the rooms. Tiny with small ensuite and little sofa downstairs then flimsy stairs to a mezzanine which was just big enough to accommodate standard double and one tiny bedside shelf, the worst thing being not big enough to stand upright and I’m only 5’5” - and sooo hot, even with fan. Room cleaning was random - sometimes towels, sometimes not but it didn’t look as if anything else was done outside if wiping glass in shower.

I enjoyed the clean room and helpful staff. Only thing was lugging the luggage down those particular steps was kind of annoying and the height of the loft ceiling for the bedroom was quite small (and I'm short myself).

Trevlig personal och rummen var rena och fräscha. Helt fantastiskt läge, vi älskade att bo på floden med vattnet precis utanför fönstret. Minus för frukosten som inte alls var bra.

Chambre très très très propre. Vu magnifique ! A 20’ à pied de tous les lieux importants Seul point négatif, le petit déjeuner, pas de carte en anglais, les serveurs ne comprennent pas l’anglais, 1er jour, on est tombé sur qqn qui nous a pas expliqué pour le café, donc pas de café.. et la carte est très orienté petit déjeuner allemand américain, pas de viennoiseries ou de petit déjeuner sucrée. Pas de choix de jus, seulement jus d’orange avec jus. Le côté buffet est faux c’est pas un buffet.

You can be very good friends with ducks and swans in New Port Hotel. 2 level rooms on the river are very nice. View is amazing especially in winter. There are no enough words to explain how nice our visit there.

En opplevelse å bo på dette hotellet! Koselig å sitte på verandaen og nyte roen! Kunne vært en felles uteplass på andre siden slik at man kunne kost seg i ettermiddagssola - ellers perfekt!

Tiny with small ensuite and little sofa downstairs then flimsy stairs to a mezzanine which was just big enough to accommodate standard double and one tiny bedside shelf, the worst thing being not big enough to stand upright and I’m only 5’5” - and sooo hot, even with fan. Room cleaning was random - sometimes towels, sometimes not but it didn’t look as if anything else was done outside if wiping glass in shower.

We really enjoyed our stay at New Port Hotel. The staff was really friendly and gave us a late check out to prep for a wedding in the afternoon. The view is amazing. The front desk has coffee and food for the ducks which was a nice touch. The ceiling height upstairs may be an issue for anyone tall but it was fine for us. We were only upstairs to sleep. We would stay here again when back in Krakow.

I enjoyed the clean room and helpful staff. Only thing was lugging the luggage down those particular steps was kind of annoying and the height of the loft ceiling for the bedroom was quite small (and I'm short myself).

Hôtel original sur l'eau. A une 10aine de minutes à pied du centre historique. Quartier assez calme. Acceuil très agréable. Chambre un peu étroite et on ne tient pas debout en haut mais tout à l'intérieur est de très bonne qualité.

Fijne en unieke locatie! Goede uitvalbasis om de stad te verkennen. Personeel is behulpzaam maar niet altijd capabel. Meerdere vragen, waaronder waar kunnen we een fiets huren konden niet worden beantwoord. Dit hebben we uiteindelijk zelf uitgezocht. In de ochtenden was het heerlijk wakker worden met de kerkklokken van de Wawel. In de avond was het wat luidruchtig vanwege party boats die voorbij varen. Als je een vroege slaper bent en met het raam open wil slapen, kan dit hinder geven. Kamers zijn netjes en worden elke dag schoongemaakt. Echter hadden wij wel een erge rioolgeur in onze badkamer hangen. Antwoord hierop was dat dit te maken had met het weer en het water. Verder is het ontbijt dat wordt aangeboden erg teleurstellend, maar hier is het hotel zich van bewust en zijn er mee bezig. Advies is om lekker in de wijk Kazimierz op zoek te gaan naar een ontbijtje, genoeg keuze. Bij het Forum kan je gemakkelijk (bewaakt) parkeren voor 16 euro per dag. Amazing location. We were looking forward to wake up peacefully with the river views, and no rush since the breakfast was served until 1pm. Sadly that didn't happen. After first night we got woken up by consistent knocking at 9:45. I woke up walked down only to be asked if I need houskeeping. Like seriously empty rooms are being cleaned at 12:00 why do you wake your guests upat 9:45? Next day even worse at 8:30 we got woken up by a lady handing me over 6 bottles of water. I don't know if the lady did it to get tips, but all she got is not returning customers. I mean if I need something I would call and ask for it. I rather sleep thou. When we were checking out I was about to raise this with a lady at reception but she didn't even ask how was our stay and started looking after other clients who drank the whole minibar. Other clients got 15 percent of on direct booking, we were not even asked if all was okay. Our advice would be, use that do not disturb sign if you want to have a peaceful stay and you will love it.

New Port Hotel was an amazing stay. So unique with beautiful views across the river, and a lovely atmosphere in the room. The staff were very friendly and responsive to messages. It is a bit of a walk to the sites of Krakow, but very manageable and worth it.

The uniqueness of the room.The bathroom was ideal very modern. It was minus 12 and thick snow when we were there but the room was nice and cosy. And nice hot chocolate at reception It was lovely and clean. The staff were lovely. The breakfast (not included) was very nice. IDue to the weather. We didn’t make use of top deck bar but I couldn’t imagine it would be lovely, the river was nearly completely frozen. The stairs could be an issue for people with mobility problems. The view from the room was fantastic. We asked the hotel to book our transfer, which was on time each way. The taxi cannot take you right to the door, so you have to carry you case down/up 3 sets of steps, which wasn’t an issue for us.

It was nice being on the river but no access for taxis. Staff not very knowledgeable. A little too far from the centre. The website describes a bar and breakfast buffet but this is not on site, it is up several flights of not well maintained concrete steps, in a separate hotel.

The positives - quirky, friendly reception, plentiful teabags and milk, river location (with ducks and swans on attendance) - 20-25 mins walk max from anywhere you may want to go - market, old Jewish quarter etc also, Hala Forum where you have breakfast is the best deal in Krakow - we wouldn’t have found it if we had been more central and it provided a variety of cuisines which were the freshest and best value we had anywhere. I don't know if the lady did it to get tips, but all she got is not returning customers. I mean if I need something I would call and ask for it. I rather sleep thou. When we were checking out I was about to raise this with a lady at reception but she didn't even ask how was our stay and started looking after other clients who drank the whole minibar. Other clients got 15 percent of on direct booking, we were not even asked if all was okay. Our advice would be, use that do not disturb sign if you want to have a peaceful stay and you will love it.

Trevlig personal och rummen var rena och fräscha. Helt fantastiskt läge, vi älskade att bo på floden med vattnet precis utanför fönstret. Minus för frukosten som inte alls var bra.

Chambre très très très propre. Vu magnifique ! A 20’ à pied de tous les lieux importants Seul point négatif, le petit déjeuner, pas de carte en anglais, les serveurs ne comprennent pas l’anglais, 1er jour, on est tombé sur qqn qui nous a pas expliqué pour le café, donc pas de café.. et la carte est très orienté petit déjeuner allemand américain, pas de viennoiseries ou de petit déjeuner sucrée. Pas de choix de jus, seulement jus d’orange avec jus. Le côté buffet est faux c’est pas un buffet.

It’s a fun concept but note it’s not a boat but metal shipping containers converted to rooms. You do still get rocking like on a boat when little waves from boats or wind happen. It was nice to look out into the river and sit on the balcony. The service was so so and there was little lobby space. Nothing terribly bad but worth noting. It’s only 10 feet away from an outdoor hang out spot where you can get food and drinks from booths nearby or bring the kids to the fair space next to it. Our biggest pain point was it’s not fully accessible. It’s in a spot that is difficult for Ubers or cabs to access because there is paid parking barrier and navigation guide it to an odd alleyway. Several times they got lost as we did getting there the first time. It’s was fun once but probably wouldn’t go back.

This is a unique spot to stay. It’s fun an easy to travel along lime scooters by the river. It’s a bit of a walk int old town, but not too far. Due to construction nearby, it’s currently quite hard to get your luggage there from the street, you must walk about 300m and go down several sets of stairs. This also must be factored in when you are ordering food or getting taxis when leaving the property. I wish I had known that the windows were not tinted for privacy. Also the top level where the bed is has a low ceiling you need to be mindful of. I am short but managed to knock my head several times. Also the hot water seems limited. I had quite a long shower and ran out (30 mins or so) Overall, nice place to stay. But if you want lots of ease and hands off luxury maybe stay somewhere else. If I came again I would book a room with the balcony to sit outside
