Had everything we could want in a Carolina's coast vacation! Oceanfront, huge balcony, spacious, indoor and outdoor oceanfront pool and jacuzzi's, short walk down the beach to pier and entertainment!!!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Fabulous place to vacation. Waters Edge Resort may consider incorporating speakers in the pool area. Nice tropical music in the background would really add the cherry on the cake. A clock near the pool would also be helpful. There was a problem with the door lock at check-in. We had to contact the front desk three times to resolve the issue. Overall, FANTASTIC EXPERIENCE!!!!

Rating Details: The property manager was very unhelpful. The vacation rental was very dirty. I was somewhat unhappy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The elevator contributed to the horrible stay. Then the management was rude. The constant noise .

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was more than happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was a great location for vacationing and visiting with family/friends in South Carolina during this fall. The unit was well-equipped for even a lengthy stay for 1 or 2 people. It would be a little crowded for additional visitors for more than an overnight or two, but that was expected. A sleeper sofa in the living area does make that possible. The unit was nicely furnished and had very nice living and kitchen areas. The shower in the master bath needs some tile and grout work, as well as an associated deep cleaning, but was otherwise adequate. The bedroom location next to the breezeway entrance and the elevator was convenient but noisy. The view of the ocean and the resort recreation/amenities areas was excellent however the balcony and the sliding door need cleaning and maintenance. The ceiling needs repair in several areas. The air conditioning system worked very well but needs better professional maintenance than it is currently getting. Overall, I had a wonderful stay and would like to visit again. I'm just trying to be honest and pointing out some real issues that will lead to greater problems if they are not addressed. I would recommend the property to a friend with qualifications. This was our 2nd stay at Waters Edge. We love the property and location to everything. However, our condo this time was a little disappointing based on the amount we paid for the convenience of a condo. First of all the refrigerator in the unit did not have an ice maker. We have never stayed in a condo on the beach that didn't have an ice maker. This is just an ESSENTIAL item. Also, the coffee maker was a filter coffee machine. No one uses filters anymore. We brought Kcups which made the process difficult. The toaster barely toasted. Didn't even get the bread warm. The toilet paper was 1 ply! Really! The drinking glasses were VERY small and glass. Wouldn't even hold a can of Coke. Also the unit was not cleaned thoroughly from the guests before. Rug in the kitchen was not swept and the mirror in the hall bathroom still had toothpaste splatter on it. Yuck! And the bed sheets were cheap and thin and wouldn't stay on the bed. This all might sound trivial but meant a lot given the amount of money paid for this unit. This unit did not hold a candle to the unit we stayed in previously. Will ask more questions about the unit before booking here again. Loved the pool and proximity to the beach.

Cannot beat the views, beach, and pools at this resort. We have stayed at this resort several times in the last 10 years. Spacious rental. In desperate need of TLC. Warning!!!!! The sliders to the balcony do not work! Tried to have the problems fixed but was given the run around. Repair professionals were nice but wanted us to come back from the amusement park or from fishing to get in the unit. They offered to come in unsupervised. Not acceptable. Attempted to try to come to a resolution with rental company to no avail. Sorely disappointed. The balcony is something we look forward to every year. Little to no care was given regarding this issue which appears to be a known problem. Skip this unit as there are many much more updated with working doors.

The condo was clean and beautifully decorated. We loved the spacious balcony. Enjoyed the seafood especially at the Conch Cafe. We will be coming back. We did have two issues that were not favorable. First is that the range top had not been cleaned at all. It had gooey, sticky stuff on the stove eyes and around the top edge. Second was that the refrigerator was warm inside. The desk clerk checked it and suspected that the door had not been closed completely. We turned the dial all the way down. It was okay the next day.

Visit Vacasa for report and pics. Filthy. We spent 2 days cleaning and sms'd for 3 or 4 days with vacasa and nothing done nor did we receive any compensation at all. Pics and notes on Vacasa.

The unit was well-equipped for even a lengthy stay for 1 or 2 people. It would be a little crowded for additional visitors for more than an overnight or two, but that was expected. A sleeper sofa in the living area does make that possible. The unit was nicely furnished and had very nice living and kitchen areas. The shower in the master bath needs some tile and grout work, as well as an associated deep cleaning, but was otherwise adequate. The bedroom location next to the breezeway entrance and the elevator was convenient but noisy. The view of the ocean and the resort recreation/amenities areas was excellent however the balcony and the sliding door need cleaning and maintenance. The ceiling needs repair in several areas. The air conditioning system worked very well but needs better professional maintenance than it is currently getting. Overall, I had a wonderful stay and would like to visit again. I'm just trying to be honest and pointing out some real issues that will lead to greater problems if they are not addressed. I would recommend the property to a friend with qualifications. This review may be appropriate for consideration by management and the unit owners but is not intended for commercial advertisement. This unit is in fairly severe disrepair. The sliding glass door in the bedroom is almost impossible to open. As well as the one in the den, which also has a metal threshold sticking up. Tripping hazard. There are multiple areas that need updating. The location is nice.

Cannot beat the views, beach, and pools at this resort. We have stayed at this resort several times in the last 10 years. Spacious rental. In desperate need of TLC. Warning!!!!! The sliders to the balcony do not work! Tried to have the problems fixed but was given the run around. Repair professionals were nice but wanted us to come back from the amusement park or from fishing to get in the unit. They offered to come in unsupervised. Not acceptable. Attempted to try to come to a resolution with rental company to no avail. Sorely disappointed. The balcony is something we look forward to every year. Little to no care was given regarding this issue which appears to be a known problem. Skip this unit as there are many much more updated with working doors.

First is that the range top had not been cleaned at all. It had gooey, sticky stuff on the stove eyes and around the top edge. Second was that the refrigerator was warm inside. The desk clerk checked it and suspected that the door had not been closed completely. We turned the dial all the way down. It was okay the next day.

Clean, up to date condo. We had a pleasant stay. Within walking distance of the Garden City Pier, restaraunts and gift shops.The pictures do not do the view justice from the balcony. Impressed enough I was looking for another stay next month, but this room is booked for my available dates. Keep up the good work on this unit and your guests will continue to shower it with praise.
